    If our young generation is taught Ramayan, Mahabharat and Gita in their growing up years, they’ll be much more sorted, will take better life decisions , make less mistakes , will be less confused , will be clear in their head , will be better in their inter personal skills, will have strong personalities and take the country ahead in the right direction.

    A Lot of Love from Canada
    You can’t imagine How happy I m here to watch this video!!
    I m a humble Sikh from Punjab ( Now in Canada)blessed to study Mahabharata in old versions of Hindi ,
    Was Eagerly waiting for some one who can differentiate a divine message from current commercializations .
    Many many THX to both of you,
    You are showing us a true message of our Mahan Mahabharata , and what Ami ji said about Karan , it is absolutely right. He was the right hand of Duryodhan for all the time (though I feel sorry for him in many ways).But standing on “Adharmasia “ it was his own choice,What caused him on the path of Vinasha.
    Our Hero should be Arjun (pandvas)including Shree Krishan ji and our Great Rishis.

    Great Mahabharata is 100% is applied in all time until this world.
    I am seeing Mahabharat in today's prescriptive..
    Modi is 100% Dritrashtra Today..
    BJP is Panadava in Today's prescriptive.
    Kaurava is Khan'gressi (Congress) Today and Duryodhan is Pappu Ghandi..
    Mohan Bhagwat is Dronacharya Today.
    Mahabharat is bound to happen again very soon in India in near future for sure so there would be ultimate Peace after that.

    @1:04:50 Bhishma Pithamaha was an Agnihotri and his last rites (Anthima Kriya at the Starting of Utharayan was done by Yudhisthira in presence of Bhagavan Krishna where Krishna says to bring the Fire that he was using, and that is possible only for a Gurhastha). Being married and Brahmachari (control of sense specially even with wife, like Ramakrishna Paramhansa Ji) are two different things, Bishma was married (remember that he was one of the 8 Vasu's who was punished to be born in as Manushya and the shapa was actually triggered by Vasu's wife to steal Vasista's Cow) and so even though other 7 were born to Ganga were relieved from the human sufferings whereas the 8th Vasu (along with his wife), had to suffer as human, should be inferred. It is a shapa and a shapa by great Rishis can be a blessing if used properly by undergoing the sufferings and putting sincere efforts to overcome ones shortcomings is the message.
    Bhishma Pithamaha was married but strictly followed celibacy in his life as a vow.

    • @AnandRajappan
      @AnandRajappan 2 года назад

      @1:04:12 Bhishma is considered as one of the 12 great personality who knows what Bhagavad Dharma is? This comes in Shrimad Bhagavatam Canto 6 Chapter 3 as part of Ajamila Upakhyan by Lord Yamadharam Raja to his Yama Kinkaras, explaining the greatness of Nama Sankeertan and Bhagavatha Dharma, that is kept secret and know only to few by the grace of Paramatma Sriman Narayan. The 12 mahapurushas are SB.6.3.20 and SB.6.3.21
      svayambhūr nāradaḥ śambhuḥ
      kumāraḥ kapilo manuḥ
      prahlādo janako bhīṣmo
      balir vaiyāsakir vayam
      dvādaśaite vijānīmo
      dharmaṁ bhāgavataṁ bhaṭāḥ
      guhyaṁ viśuddhaṁ durbodhaṁ
      yaṁ jyātvāmṛtam aśnute
      Lord Brahmā, Bhagavān Nārada, Lord Śiva, the four Kumāras, Lord Kapila [the son of Devahūti], Svāyambhuva Manu, Prahlāda Mahārāja, Janaka Mahārāja, Grandfather Bhīṣma, Bali Mahārāja, Śukadeva Gosvāmī and I myself know the real religious principle. My dear servants, this transcendental religious principle, which is known as bhāgavata-dharma, or surrender unto the Supreme Lord and love for Him, is uncontaminated by the material modes of nature. It is very confidential and difficult for ordinary human beings to understand, but if by chance one fortunately understands it, he is immediately liberated, and thus he returns home, back to Godhead.

    Wonderful explanation 👏by Sanjay Dixit Ji @54:00
    यत्र योगेश्वर: कृष्णो यत्र पार्थो धनुर्धर: |
    तत्र श्रीर्विजयो भूतिध्रुवा नीतिर्मतिर्मम ||
    Krishna - Epitome of Wisdom
    +
    Arjun - Epitome of Action
    when they both work together in tandem it results in Success.
    The question was why not Dharmaraj?
    I believe that dharma was with all the 5 Pandavas, even though Lord Dharma Raja is the king of afterlife he is still a ruled by Indra who is the overall Deva king, and all Devas follow dharma otherwise they will not be in that position and fall down as in the case of Nahusha (who became Indra, but fell due to shapa of Agastya Muni).
    Also, it is a pair Nara-Narayana Arjun- Krishna. Best Student and Best Teacher. So, in many ways it is just an indication of what Bhagavan is trying to tell, that wherever you see something best see it as myself and you will be free from the Maya delusion that everything is running just on ourselves and it would help Bakthi to grow, and it doesn't in any sense indicate that Bhagavan is not in others, that was the actual context that comes in Bhagavath Geeta.
    As usual good effort to bring in the unknown facts to general public.
    🙏✌️

    sir I have never been able to understand the rajsurya yajna. The description of all the wars and killings (many of them unwarranted) became the reason for Mahabharata. Could you please help me see the "dharma" in that episode. I read that many kingdom's citizenry came out to defend and got killed in the process. What for?

    • @a.bhaskara3833
      @a.bhaskara3833 2 года назад +1

      Sir 🙏🏼 I beseech of you - please read the Mahabharata or join a discourse class or podcast series on the Mahabharata so that you’re first well familiar with the entire work. There are many such, so one can pick and choose to one’s liking and convenience. The answers you’re looking for are spread out there with surprising clarity. That tapasya or applied effort needs to be done by oneself; it requires dedicated and prolonged focus but the good news is there’s no deadline, so one can take one’s own time to complete it. The Mahabharata is riveting in itself, even if one refuses to acknowledge it as an Itihaas. It is also most enjoyable, with many moments to savour, and one ends with a feeling of having experienced something truly profound. This has been my experience, and I trust it will be yours too.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the podcast. One question: post Mahabharata, all the Pandavas go to hell while the Kauravas go to Heaven. As surprising as that is, do the Pandavas stay permanently in hell or are then later somehow taken to heaven after their penance?

      Actually there is a small story in mahabharat that king kuru was once tilling a very large piece of land by himself and did this for many years and this was counted as tapasya (because he was tilling a field without rest although he was a king). When asked by indra as to why he was doing this he said that he will make this place so pure that anyone who visits it will go to heaven after death. At this the gods got scared that all sinners would come to heaven after just visiting this place so indra made a deal with him that anyone who dies in battle in kurukshetra will directly go to heaven and kuru will have a very good kingdom. That is why the kauravas all went to heaven because they all died in kurukshetra but the pandavas did not die in kurukshetra so they had to go to hell for short time to pay for their sins and then went to heaven permanently
