Tried this yesterday on a lake that has been hard to get bites on the last few years . I had 3 bites and and caught all three. The smallest was just under 16 pounds and the biggest just over 17 pounds. The best afternoon/evenings fishing on the lake for years !
About a month ago me and my dad fished that swim and had 3 up to 20 pound and all though out the day we see fish after fish jumping. I just cannot wait for the day I might see both of you at Norton Disney and thank you for all the tips in your videos it has helped me improve my skills and become a better angler. Thank you Carl and Alex 👍
I’ve been using PVA bags for a long time now and found that if you wanna use whole boilies you can use crushed boilie and smaller pellets to fill all the gaps in the bag so it doesn’t end up all baggy. Great video as usual gents.
I used the pva bag method over the weekend , first time carp fishing in six hours I had 2 bites , lost both of them . Considering no one else even had a bite I'm really impressed with this method . You make a really good point about putting the weight at the bottom and central in the bag . I didn't and had some proper wonky casts as a result.
Awesome video and great tips for us carp anglers. My goal on my channel is to influence other USA fishing anglers that carp are not trash fish. They are nothing but power houses and fight pound for pound. Thanks for sharing with us.
I'd like to see a "how to" video on how to catch chub and barbel from a river. But with granular detail, like as simple as when to strike, and what to look for or what you see when you roll spam?
You guys have got to be some of the most inspirational fisherman because your self taught and your very helpful I love your main channel didn't know how to use solid bag watched your other video and now I worship this channel as well keep up the good work your amazing
I used to watch you boys years ago and damn how you both have grown into real gentleman much respect to you lads, I will be watching much more and get myself carp ready again 🥳🥳
Another little trick I was told about years ago was...when ya filling ya bag also put in half a alca seltzer tablet..they are harmless to the fish and help spread ya bait on the bottom wen they fizz .many old school use them dissolve in less than a minute and explode ya bait around
Wow m8,,I’ve just noticed something in this video where I think I’m going wrong,,I think my rig lengths are a lot lot longer than yours and I think that’s why I’m losing loads of fish,,,I’m getting loads of bites and little runs but by the time I’ve jumped up to grab the rod,,the fish is already off and my alarms have stopped 👍👍👍👍
Hi Guys its a few weeks ago when I commented about you are catching some Real Specimen Fish. I have lived in Northwich Cheshire all my life and have been a keen Angler most of it I'm 64 now and through I'll health I can't get comfortable anymore when fishing. I write to you today about a fishing spot called the (Horseshoe) and I know for a fact that the Carp in this Water have Never been Caught by a line. Apparently there is too much Natural food in the water. Many Anglers have tried and 100% have failed. I personally have seen these fish and they are enormous 30 to 50lbs and upwards if your interested in the future I will forward the exact place to come and try your luck I look forward to hearing from you both. John. 😁🐳🐳🐳🐳🐳🐳😁🐳🐳🐳
Brilliant video guys, great effort gone into this I can tell. I just have one question for you. I am looking into buying a new set of rods and my fishing is done up to about 70-90 yards with the odd cast over 100. Can I achieve these distances with a 12 ft rod of 3-3.25 lb test curve? Thanks and keep up the good work!
Fascinating! Did you ever think to create a better aerodynamic shape. I work in 3D printing for the last 7 years, and you can 3D print any shape you want using PVA. I will be more than interested to work together to create a part for better aerodynamic.
Great vid, but I have a couple question - when using solid bags, do you tighten up to the bag/lead, or leave it slack, and how would you go about fishing slack line or semi slack, thanks
First bag rig video I’ve seen where someone puts the lead in before the hook link, do you find this more successful? I’m just waiting for time to get out on the bank so will be tying up a fair few to take ready to attach and get fishing quickly. I also use a syringe to inject hemp oil for a little more attraction. Also that new smart gel looks the business. Nice videos. Keep up the good work 👌🏼
I try and use korda for everything HOWEVER. Ive just revently bent one of those size 6 wide gap hooks on a carp. This has made me weary of them. If i bend anymore hooks ill stop uaing them. Keep in mind ive caught loads of fish on these hooks before. Perhaps it was just bade tempered or I weakened it somehow.
Helpful video Do you use 45 lb leader for any mainline ? (e.g. 12 lb, 15lb, 20 .b etc) or do you need to get lighter depending on the breaking strain of your mainline? also what is an alternative to using the braid ?
What are the benefits of using Solid PVA Bags over a Method Feeder? Which option should I go for if I plan to stay on the lake for only couple of hours? Also love your other fishing tutorials :D
Hello Alex and Carl, i have a question. I like to fish with cage feeder, but i want to try pop-up boilies with it, i watched your "The EASIEST Carp Fishing rig to tie" tutorial, can i put on my cage feeder instead of lead? Will it not tackle? T.y. for the answers. :) Btw really good tutorials u have, good work. :)
Hi there would the inline lead be classed as a fixed lead? Only asking as I want to use this rig but there is a rule of no fixed leads at the lake, great video cheers!
Great video lads! quick question.. what is your opinion on using bird seed in the bags? Do you think the salt trick work the same as it does with corn to make it PVA friendly?
I got a question about connection the setup inline, when inline on braid is connected to mainline does it going through on knot. I mean i am using also a shock leader between main line and braid and the knot is a little bit fat.

Great video and nice carp fishing.
Another tip for drying off rigs to go back in a bag. Once towel dried, let it sit for 30-60 seconds in either boilie crumb or dry groundbait.

Great Video

A lot of my local waters have a no braid rule. What would you use as a hook link? Great vid, my son is looking forward to receiving his calendar!
Great vid, but I have a couple question - when using solid bags, do you tighten up to the bag/lead, or leave it slack, and how would you go about fishing slack line or semi slack, thanks

Good job👍👍
Really enjoy your guys content (both channels). Great info and excellent cinematography. What kind of camera drone do you guys use?
I have just watched this lol its still a excellent vid tho
Quick question guys, how often would you recast if no bites coming, 1/2 hr, an hr, or longer?? Great vid btw…
Cool video!
Cheers!
Really enjoy your videos I've just started pva bags how long do you leave it before you recast a soild bag thank you
Nice video I'm Waseem from Pakistan
Very nice

I subbed to all ur channels
What are the benefits of using Solid PVA Bags over a Method Feeder? Which option should I go for if I plan to stay on the lake for only couple of hours? Also love your other fishing tutorials :D
Good tip on drying off lead. Do you use fast or slow melt bags? Does your preference of bag type change in winter conditions?
For a silty lake would you use a pva bag or a stringer... you help would be much appreciated????
I use a fluro or mono leader instead of a braided leader and they are much easier to construct and fish great...
Brilliant!
Hey guys! First off really great videos! Now for the silly question - does that little green spoon come with the mainline pva mix? Super handy!
The green scoop comes with the Korda Solid PVA bags! :)
Hi there would the inline lead be classed as a fixed lead? Only asking as I want to use this rig but there is a rule of no fixed leads at the lake, great video cheers!
Great video as always how long do you leave it before you recast a solid bag thanks 😊
For a beginner, which would be best, pva bag or mesh? Thanks.
I'd say mesh bag is probably easiest :)
Hi guys,
Q: how often do you recast when using a solid pva bags?
Thanks
Sash
Good, good, good!
could you guys go fishing at VALEBRIDGE in Bedelands
Alot of fisheries don't allow leaders. Can this rig be tied without?
Just watched this video, it’s great!
Btw are the ring swivels size 11?
Great video lads! quick question.. what is your opinion on using bird seed in the bags? Do you think the salt trick work the same as it does with corn to make it PVA friendly?
bird seed will be banned on most lakes, stick to pellets or hemp...crumbed boilies too
What is the main difference to using pva mesh opposed to bags
I got a question about connection the setup inline, when inline on braid is connected to mainline does it going through on knot. I mean i am using also a shock leader between main line and braid and the knot is a little bit fat.
i see many carp videos and i see about feature finding for what is on the bottom , did you do this on this venue?
