I’m also new to carp fishing/fishing in general I started in September, I’ve used mainline/sticky/tor and outlaw I won’t speak bad on them baits as they do work but since I’ve changed to Parker baits my catch rate has shot threw the roof even on a hard lake nearby

(If they start selling terminal tackle then they yeh have sold out). -You need companies like Parker baits, who solely concentrate on carp bait…. It’s an excellent starting gambit. If your boilie or solid bag angler. -other older companies have done half the work (ingredients and testing wise) -they have quickly acquired a cult following due to captures BUT they are no different to any other boilie company in terms of what the carp wants. -nothings a edge bait wise but for newbies such as yourself I’m guessing you want a good time and a few fish. - it’s all about location, target fish and timing. -all these fancy baits, additives and extras eg colours etc attract younger fish and make them compete. -the big fish don’t wana do that unless you fish linear. Where the big fish are small fish and have to act accordingly. In short, I would buy from Parker baits at the carp show your going, but I would stick to just buying the one you choose and gain confidence on that one bait. And don’t try (although great) red amo, cell, pacific tuna,etc just because it didn’t work straight away…… cos the carp don’t care. Location, bait volume if any at all (single) and finally bait presentation will make you spend your money much better.

Do you have to fish the inline lead system as a fixed led or can you have it as a running system so the fish don’t feel resistance on the hookbait pickup?

This was very interesting. I'm fishing a new weedy venue in the next couple of weeks where leaders are banned, yet 18" of tubing and dropping the lead is an "essential" rule. Was considering helicopter setup and chod approach, but I've been a fan of inline leads in PVA bags for a couple of years. Thanks to your video, I think I can use your method of a dropoff inline lead in the bag by switching the long Gemini leader you've got there with their regular fluoro tidy stems so that it's essentially the same as you've done, but with the fused loop immediately outside the bag. I reckon a long tail rubber / anti-tangle sleeve attached to the tubing on the main line could slide down over the mainline knot onto the tidy stem, giving me the same ability to use pre-tied bags easily while still conforming to the no leader / tubing requirements, along with the dropoff method you showed. Thanks!!!
