- Last update we got a few improvements to some multi target companion but also with a slight nerf to the Regis companion! Here I cover what damage dealing companions you should be using for fighting groups of enemies. Especially with the Jubilee coming up, you might want to have one handy to make your life a lot easier!

I would highly recommend any wizard companion if you are new, they cost 2 gold coins on the companion shop at white quality, so they never are going to go up in price since you can just buy them directly, and the wizards have 20 radius at-will and 25 radius AoE hard attack.
Let's see how long does it take till someone makes the typical "tHe gAme iS pAy tO wIn" or "gAme iS dEaD" mimimiimi comment. Anyway thanks for doing the testing with comps!

I love it when the enemies group up like this but what I hate is,. you just grouped them all up for an attack and some Freaking moron comes along and scatters them everywhere, rendering your attack useless! lolz

Yes, the bane of Wizards...
As a tank I use the Minotaur companion for running dungeons, at least only for trash/enemies, it has the best CC: pulls them towads companion and then knocks them up. I also use it for my solo content build. Thanks for the video.

Guess I'll stick with my trusty Rimefire Golem then. He's great for keeping beverages cold on hot days anyway 😋

I'm still using my free Mystic Pheora as an afk companion as I'm cheap and will save my ad for upgrades that I really need instead.
I always tell my groups, Buff companions over Dps, endgame groups barely notice the dmg from companions because mobs die so fast if the dps is good. I prefer running a dritz, Minotaur, now the new companion I would recommend too because it allows dps to swap out up to 10% CA and use maybe use more dmg bonus or another debuff for the group

Shadar kai in mtic performs so well, sometimes I wonder if she's bugged. Try it there on dps.
Not sure if you saw any of my gameplay videos, but I was using it all the time, but mainly cause I have nothing else that is okay ok my rogue
I've been using the Demonic Servant for months, because of the way he used to AOE first thing in all fights...but I really like Minsc now on my Rouge because his CA bonus is almost always up.
Minotaur and soradiel , and Minsc are my favorite multi and mystagogue
Ok look can you talk to the dev about the flash freeze to remove the 20% chance it takes for ever to get three stacks and all the other enchantment is guaranteed on hit which will make that 18% damage reduction great and also I play tank over 30 runs aic nothing drops for tanks nothing it's crazy plz respond do a video on it with all the stat gear for tanks that enchantment would be great when you have the stats plz respond 😊
Barbarian shaman is pretty good in st and mt and he heals you too
Same as Broom does (splinter): slows enemies, heals you, and knocks down a whole group of enemies at once.
What about Regis vs the Defector as dealing the most damage? I thought the Defector was still top but looking at your chart it no longer is. (I have both at mythic so I'm not buying them just based on this video lol)
The defector does best in the first test because it has good aoe but also good single target damage. In the 2nd test it is not as good because it's aoe is not as strong as the others
Hi Aragon, Flapjack is good For Multi and Single Targhet? is there much difference in the top of the ranking?
How to afk using these multi target companion for jubilee event? How to make use of it? I thought jubilee event the most efficient way to farm is dojng the quest at ebon down/whispering caverns to lead and protect the npc

Best companion is one that give team buff/ utility. Just my opinion
can be yes vs something that only deals damage
Open lock box to get Minotaur mercenary but the lock box is expensive on ps5
whens a mod 28 build for wiz coming out. my dmg is extremely inconsistant. with how rng is its become impossible for me to get any gear

I noticed Staldorf is hitting AOE targets for over 100k a hit.. can you test?.I'm seeing hits ranging from 119k to 390k on a single hit.

All my characters have a Mythic Minotaur and an Epic Regis. My Cleric has a Mythic Regis.
Are you saying the grouping of mobs by the Minotaur makes him the best for AoE generally, or just for solo farming Jubilee currencies?

Minotaur is great unless you like to hit mobs from range, ive been in so many runs where people run it and hit the group from far away then minotaur pulls them out of all the aoe thats set down like icy terrain, hellfire ring and smoke bomb. Prefer witch with a good tank that keeps the adds tight together, ive seen the witch 1 shot whole groups solo in mic and mdwp.
Minotaur low-key annoying AF fr lol
its great for tank or healer. for dps it requires you to time your atks better and know where/when to place local aoe atks
@jerededmons4313 would rather have my tanks and healers on low dps support comps like drizzt or tutor even in aoe if you position correctly ca can still be useful. Drizzt always though and if no tutor then maybe something for move speed, dmg reduction or ap gain. Not saying minotaur is useless but it's better on dps that get close to the targets but even then it's sometimes too slow and will still pull stuff out of the aoe.

Why not use fairly strong mobs as an example 1 group in the spider temple (master) ?
They'd probably kill me and my companion before the companion can kill them
If I am looking for a companion for solo play (as a dps) who will help group enemies and hold their agro, is there one you would recommend, maybe one with survivability support?
None will hold their aggro. There are no tank companions. Minotaur is the best for grouping them up

Yep, since they made it so you don't level up companions, they changed it so the companion deals the same damage across the quality levels.

And it may determine your companion enhancement rank? I can't remember

I've yet to run into a situation where minotaur was actually enjoyable to have in my group. It risks effecting my min-max rotation on controlling snake and doing more dmg in mtic. It tends to suck away from any AOE's placed on ground from fighting on outer edges of mobs. (Two entangles, and only one repel, the downtime of walking across room is more than enough to put 1 of my 2 repels in rotation into boss instead. UNLESS you're a noob depending on Minotaur to deal with bugs, when you could easily just learn how to do more dmg. I tend to be near top dmg, even while putting half my cooldowns into snake because of it.
I take off repel for people in certain fights for melee. I'd prefer most people always took minotaur off in majority of fights too. If you can't control your CC properly. You shouldn't be using it imo. Its like a tank that intentionally wants you to do less dps and will stand outside the icy terrain 2 seconds after you place it.
I can't think of a worse companion considering how much it tries to take over the tanks job. WHile not even doing it with a reason. Its a noob tool.
You are not supposed to use a multi target companion in boss fights, so why are you using it in mtic first boss and then complaining? Of course it is bad there

You just convert diamonds to zen with the exchange and then get VIP. Everyday you get a key
the test is incorrect, you need to test it in the latest dungeons
What about mystagogue? Pretty decent in my opinion
