I think the ecosystem needs to evolve more quickly though, low-end and mid-range foldables need to be released and sold worldwide - especially the compact and more affordable models that are already released in China, such as the Oppo Find N2 with its landscape (tablet-like) inner screen, and the outer folding Honor Purse.

After using Pixel Fold for about 3 weeks , I am in love . From screen to the bouncy ness of the software of how smooth it is is incredible . I use kindle app and this phone is basically meant for reading amazingly well.
Great long-term review Shane, I completely agree with every sentiment. This phone was decent to good when I got it, and glad I held onto it, it's only getting better! Surprisingly, only damage is that microscopic pitting on the bezel , all screens are good! Can't wait for Google's next iteration! Great video as usual. I'm STILL struggling to decide between the Open and Pixel Fold. Right now, I'm back on my Open and loving it but, at some point, I'll long for the pure Google experience again. 😂 Can we get these two phones Frankensteined together?!
Been daily driving the OnePlus Open for the last week, and I'm shockingly finding myself missing the Pixel Fold and I'll probably go back to it soon. The fit & finish of the Pixel Fold just feels more refined and premium, and I really do love the smaller/shorter form factor. Big one for me too is that while the lack of crease on the OnePlus Open looks and feels great, the anti-reflective interior screen of the Open (which I originally loved) now just pops a little less for me than the shiny interior screen of the Fold. The Fold just feels like a cozy phone, and I miss it!
I decided to move to the Pixel Fold from my very old iPhone X, and I don’t regret a single aspect of that decision. I would have gone with the OnePlus Open but decided to go with the stock Google interface instead. I’ve owned stock Google phones before and I’ve been very happy with them. I’m looking forward to seeing the next iteration of the Fold.
I'm late to this game; ordered my Pixel Fold yesterday and it should be with me tomorrow... Needed a new business mobile as can't lose my iPhone 14PM due to having an AWU - But going to set up the Fold tomorrow and run it as my daily for a while and see how I get on. All thanks to your videos I made this decision; it looks a superb phone & I'm a huge Android fan (still have my Pixel 4XL that I've had since brand new)! I've ordered the Spigen screen protector and Slim Armor Pro case, which landed today, and already I'm excited as that width feels superb in my shovel-like hands! Think I'll do an unboxing video and review as soon as I've got it up & running Cheers 👍🏼
Nice timing, picking a fold up tomorrow! Had a Z Fold 4 for a time but it was unusable due to the outer screen size. Nice to see it wears well and that DB skin is gorgeous. Changing from a Xiaomi 13 Ultra and yes. I will miss the camera ....
Hi Shane, I also love my Pixel Fold! Now with the QPR1 update everything seems to work much better! With all the good new stuff!! I always simply love Pixel phones! Together with the Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro I'm very happy!
As someone who works with email, excel, and a web browser, one plus multi tasking is really appealing to me. But the form factor of the fold seems great. Have you done a video comparing the two for a work setting??
I would say for a work scenario such as yours, the fold is a bit behind but google Is gonna make it better. The fold is a first gen product with truly first gen software for a foldable that just doesn’t multitask or react like Samsung or one plus. The OP Open technically Isn’t a first gen device since they literally just took everything from Oppo and put it in a new case.
Thank you for still talking about this amazing device. Alot of big tech youtubers seem to have got gotten this phone exists and not spoken about the software improvements since launch
Same with the Pixel Tablet, and both are pretty great devices now with the continuous updates. Even if Pixels are not the best I feel that buying other devices have not the same value as the time pass
OK.... I got the Z fold 5, didn't like it, got rid of it. I got the Pixel Fold, felt like a brick in my pocket. I got the Z Flip 5, so slick I couldn't hold onto it, put a case on on it then it was too thick and clumsy, Got the Motorola Flip 40 Plus, it had it's own problems. I now have the Standard (Small front screen) Motorola Flip 40 with the textured body. I can hold it without it slipping out of my hand. It's small, light and works like a charm. To each his own.
Mine has 126 cycles and battery life is fine for me. Definitely got better over time. I added a clear skin on the back and the camera bump. Same front screen protector as you. Device is totally like new still. I use it as my sole phone and computer really for everything. Hinge is same as when I got it. Software is getting better all the time. I am perfectly happy with mine and will keep it until the pixel fold 2 or if Samsung ever change their form factor. Nice long term review. I concur with it.
Shane I feel like we are on the same phone journey. Blackberry, Both Duo 1 & 2 and now the natural successor (kind of) in the Pixel Fold. We seem to have the same urges in the phone world. As always thank you for your videos and regular updates on the devices we (odd balls/nerds) love.
Good summary and I agree with everything. The Pixel Fold will just keep getting better and better, if I know Google and its Feature Packs. And, in theory, those top/bottom dual cams should last longer than the more intricate Samsung and OnePlus hinge systems... PS. Bezels are fine, as you say. I gives you slight more grip-ability of the opened out device.
For me it has to be the Motorola razr 2023, it's not a foldable tablet but rather a flip phone with a foldable screen, also it has a tiny cover screen, you can say it doesn't look exciting on the outside, but even then you can do the basics on the small outer display like make phone calls, check the time, the weather, check notifications, and some more. When open the phone I have access to all my normal android apps and I love the features I get out of it, like samsung dex I also got a desktop mode on my phone called smart connect or a motorola solution for desktop mode onto my flip phone. One thing I love as well is the ability to disconnect from all social media keeping all the essentials with minimal to no distractions with moto unplug, if I use it at night I am sure to not get bothered by notifications. Another thing for me is how quickly my phone charges with 30w fast wired charging. If at times you feel nostalgic, there's even a Motorola razr skin built into the phone. All in all, if you'd like something compact you can't go wrong Motorola or Samsung as their both great phones to own although Samsung also got a folding tablet
Thanks for sharing Shane. The Pixel Fold looks sweet. To answer your question, I really like my Pixel Tablet this year!!! I have the official case and Reddit was right the hinge is amazing!!!
I'm getting a fold in a month or so when my contract is up for renual I can get the pixel fold £299 cheaper then the Samsung fold the only thing worrying me about the pixel was the durability seen as its there first attempt at a fold videos like this one are a huge help thank you
Appreciate the videos. My z fold 3 has lost wifi function, small splits down inner screen, lost phone MAC address and samsung support is 🐃💩. I think the pixel fold will be my next foldable.
@jacksonburger2081 nolonger functions, I'm sure it's a mixture of software and hardware. The most bizarre part is that the phone mack address is no longer unavailable, first-time experience with that. Over the years, have been tired of constantly troubleshooting samsung products been with them since S3 and Notes, but too many product failures from tvs to phones, especially for the price.
@@jvandal77 So weird. I got rid of my folder for the OnePlus open (no problem with wifi tho). Totally agree that there's WAY too many problems for the price tho. Seems like that's a problem with Samsung and Apple exclusively.
I currently have a Zfold4 and have dead pixels on the interior screen.. Samsung is horrible and do not back up their products warranty and guarantee... I am boycotting Samsung for life. I ordered my Pixel fold and expecting it this coming week.
Awesome vid. Agree with everything you said 100% picked back up my Pixel Fold, after using only the Open for the past month or so, and you're right, it has aged like fine wine. So many people are caught up on this or that being the best, that they lose sight of the best and most important point you made. Whatever Google does benefits ALL foldables. Yes I wish things like the Open's transition between inner and cover screen, and floating windows were here. But like you said, that stuff is coming, and Google has to take their time with it because it affects EVERYONE not just their device.
This was an awesome video. I kinda wanted to Pixel Fold but couldn't justify going from the Pixel 6 Pro to what I felt was the Pixel 7 Pro but could fold lol I really really hope they make a Pixel Fold 2 that is basically the Pixel 8 Pro but can fold. Until then I did upgrade to the Pixel 8 Pro. I'm excited to see the Pixel Fold 2 hopefully next year
I really enjoyed the p8p when I had it. I decided to keep the fold though. Just something about it. I'm bummed that it doesn't have all the AI goodness.
Changing the form factor will be a huge mistake. That was my favorite thing. They need to use the most recent and updated tensor. They need a better battery. And smaller bezels. And it would be perfect
I'm trying to find the words that justify my pixel fold preference. Several months ago we discussed the feature of the upcoming pixel fold. My #1 feature ask then was the usable outer screen first, followed by a camera that can take quick photos. The rest of the device simply needed to be flagship quality. On June 27th, my jaw dropped when I opened the box. I started with the pixel fold to the end of August when the dark screen on the camera just became too much of an obstacle to overcome. I still kept the device. With the Advent of the betas, eventually that went away. Looking at the OnePlus open, then comparing my#1 feature request, I failed to see an attraction. Sure the width is wider, but the taller and not as wide as the pixel fold, simply made it a no go. The canvas based screens with multitasking is very attractive. But I rarely multitask... But I always use that outer screen. To compromise on my#1 feature request didn't seem like the best move on my part 🤷
the repair cost for the inner screen is >900 bucks which essentially wrecks the phone. the inner screen on the samsung is much cheaper. something to keep in mind when you buy a fold
I love my fold but the inner screen has suddenly got some problems with the pixels by the hinge, hopefully it can get fixed as it's still under warranty. Apart from that I am really pleased with this phone, I am a bit anxious about the inner screen issues though. Thanks for your informative videos!
Love the Pixel fold. I agree most exciting phone of 2023. I waited 4 years for someone to release a foldable with decent width on the front screen. Thank you Google!
The pixel 8 pro is my best phone experience this year. Its completely taken over from my 23 ultra . Its actually the most complete experience ive ever had in any mobile device . Its just everything ive wanted , a camera thats unmatched along with the features that never cease to please me in a way that ive never thought id rather be using somethong else. Fluidity, speed , it just flows no matter whats going on. IMO the best thing over Apple Samsung, all the above cant touch this for me ❤
I will agree with all of your comments, but I said this at release and I am still saying this and that is, they should have waited to put the tensor G3 chip in it, if not for anything else but for modem improvement
And do what with the Pixel 8? Every OEM launches the new SOC with their flagship and the Foldable comes out between two SOC releases. Does the Fold now come out between Tensor G3 and Tensor G4? Surely at that point we're in the same quandary, people would be asking why the Fold didn't have Tensor G4 lol. Just something to consider!
@@scaryifliteral kind of totally misses my point to my comment. I am not suggesting that the Fold have the new SOC before the Flag ship launch, nor am I suggesting that this lead to a bunch of whining and complaining that we then wait for the next SOC. As I stated the modems in the G2 are not as good as the modem for the G3. I am not focused on any features that the G3, G4 or subsequence SOCs bring. This was simply a modem wish...
Great video, I´m really hoping that they follow this up with a Fold 2 & Fold 3, as I´m in for a Fold 3. Depending if they release it in Sweden of course 😁
I was excited to get the OnePlus Open, but Best Buy screwed me over on trade in(s). So after a lot of rigmarole and a holiday sale I was fortunately able to pivot and get the Pixel Fold. I was coming from a ZF4, but everything about the Pixel Fold is so much better. The size, the UI, the cameras, and even battery life are great for me. Although I have one issue which is certain earbuds won't work. The only bluetooth audio devices that do work are a Sony pair of headphones and LG Tone earbuds. But I completely agree, the Pixel Fold aging like a fine wine and no doubt will continue to get better with updates even if they're slow 😅
@@RJ_Uploads I think it's an issue that affects certain Pixels and not just the Fold. I posted about on the Pixel and Pixel Fold subreddit and others were experiencing the same issue
I recently picked up my Duo 2 again and forgot how good it is for multitasking. I have been using a Zfold 5 but put my SIM in the Duo2. I am sure I will get tired of it after awhile but for the past week I have fallen in love with the Duo again. I tried the Pixel fold for a couple days and I loved the form factor but did not care for the software.
I have been tempted to buy the oneplus but I just know my Pixel Fold is going to get the updates faster and i really like the form factor of my fold. My only gripe about this phone is the weight.
The "pocketability" of the Pixel Fold is just too good. The Fold 5 and the Open are just huge. Also i rarely used the app triplets or floating Windows, the Open multitasking solutions are more useful. But with the Fold you can bet on changes and updates and you don't have to wait months or years for oneUI or (worse) OnePlus, especially for older devices
Yea. I keep wanted to try the open but know that I really enjoy getting the updates as soon as they drop and I really like vanilla android that the pixel offers.
Your channel has had the best pixel fold coverage and actually convinced me to get the device as an upgrade to my 7 pro. Great fold coverage and video topics.
We also need to remember that it is third generation release to be realistic for the oneplus fold. Oppo find n is just the same company but now with the global release renamed oneplus fold
The one plus open for me all day long. Its form factor and design blows every single foldable available in the western market completely out the water imo
@@Gamer_85 first things first am not your pal. Next is I'm willing to bet you don't even own a one plus so how would you even know ANYTHING about it's software and lastly you talk about durability ???? How can anyone know how durable this phone is after only being what 7 weeks old genius??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣#idiot
Best Phone on the Market. Some people like anything thats the newest phone. But ask those people to take their Pixel Fold out of that case and actually use it to it's best abilities. Typing on it is a smooth slide compared to other Android phones that have a pluck feel. The camera housing does need to be stronger on the Pixel Fold 2. I would like to see a Samsung or One Plus Open Hinge on the Pixel Fold 2 but if not it's good hinge just different type and has to be treated as such. If you open then gently make it straight it stays straight. With that type of hinge it have to be done that way. No other way around it.
I really want to go all in on the Pixel Fold but almost everyone on Threads that has one has warned me away from them. I really like the concept though, and if I have to break out of Apple's ecosystem I might as well go ALL the way out. I'm also looking at the Oppo Find N or N2, depending on what I can find here in Japan.
Both are great devices. I can only confirm the Pixel Fold. I prefer the form-factor of the Pixel Fold especially, coming from the Duo 2. I thought about the One Plus Open, but ATT had a reduced monthly payment, about 20 less per month. Who doesnt want to spend less per month. Lol
how would you compare your Z Fold 4 experience to the Pixel Fold? Pros and cons of each of them for example, Pixel seems to be more robust at the eye at least?
@@scaryifliteraldo you have any problem with pixel fold not opening flat ? Why would you choose ? Maybe because better support from google instead of oneplus ? What are your reasons to pick pixel fold ?
I just wish the fold would do everything my pixel 8 Pro does. I love the fold, but find myself going back to the 8 pro because of the extra AI features that I like and enjoy. I'm sure the 2nd generation fold will have all that, but who can afford two folds. I'm still torn between the two.
Most exciting i will have to say the pixel fold. I loved mine, although i did sell it. And thats because of the service reception on the device. It was not up to par with my older iphone, or even a samsung. So i decided to sell it and pick up a z fold 5. im happy although i do miss the form factor of the pixel fold.
Pixel Fold is so clearly a first gen device. It’s a beta project that Google charges fully matured high end pricing for it. It’s a Pixel that folds, which is cool. But it’s way overpriced and pales in comparison to the Open.
With how nice the cameras on the OnePlus Open are, I really hope that the Pixel Fold 2 brings better cameras. The Open ises the same cameras as the upcoming OnePlus 12, and jt would be amazing if the Pixel Fold 2 has the same cameras as the Pixel 8 Pro.
The pixel fold is still the only foldable with a practial form factor. All the other foldable with their squarish inner screens are not good for watching videos and movies. Looking forward to a bigger pixel fold 2 with smaller display bezels.
Did you think there will be some fold Feature Drops in future for camera/AI and Multitasking? Hope so! The only bad thing is missing USI Stylus Support. At first I was hoping that it would be delivered later like with the pixel tablet. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case. and then there would be a Pixel Desktop mode... can we at least still hope for "DeX" for the fold?
Desktop mode is definitely still being worked on. Strangely enough, I'm told floating windows has not come yet as it's tied to that. It's still very early days for the Fold line, but yes I do think more stuff will come.
@@scaryifliteral i hope so. as a former surface duo 1 user the pixel fold would be the best choice i think. at the moment i use the s23 ultra and love the dex feature. dex an s-pen are the only two things i would miss with pixel fold. so i consider a fold 5 instead... it is so hard to do the right choice :-(
Makes me wonder if its the closing of the device. Are the top corners of the screen protector touching each other during a close ? Anything similar happening on the bottom corners ?
I would of liked to get the pixel fold but all the reviews put me off buying it. I'm also a pixel fan. I'v end up buying the Samsung Z Fold 5. I am still using my pixel 4.
I had to send my first pixel fold back to google for a exchange because the cellular signal strength was weak and unstable. I knew it was my fold because i have had the same service for years and i never had any issues with connectivity until the fold. Oddly, when my fold arrived at Googles Warehouse, i got an email stating my device was damaged in the inner screen, and i need to pay over $800 bucks to get my replacement since this type of damage is not covered by manufacturers warranty. I was like.....What! my fold was in perfect condition when i shipped it. Luckily i am in the habit of taking photos of my devices, and the shipping boxes prior to returning anything i send back. After a few back and forth emails between myself and Google, plus providing my pictures, they agreed to replace my fold for free. I now have the new device and the cellular connectivity seems to be much better and more stable thank goodness.
Shane I'm a surface duo 1 and 2 user still using my duo 2 I've just ordered the pixel fold is it better than the duo 2 and does it feel like what the duo 3 could have been
Funnily enough, Duo 3 was going to be taller, more like the Open lol. Pixel Fold is more like what I would have wanted from a Duo 3 (if dual screen is out of the picture). Great a two apps at a time, good aspect ratio, great software, great camera. Hope you like it!
@@scaryifliteral I've followed your channel and I knew you loved the duo, I feel naughty leaving it for the fold but due too lack of support and end of life is October I believe time to move on
Pixel Fold software will improve over time. OnePlus Open software will get worse over time. Galaxy Fold 5 will start almost exactly the same over time. I've owned 2/3 of these and you really can't go wrong. Exciting time to own a foldable
It's a great device and it sold in the upper range of what Google expected based on the fact that it was sold out at launch. Hard to call it a flop, but opinions are just that. Opinions.
Shane thanks to all your coverage I bought an Amazon renewed Pixel Fold. I already have the Pixel 8 Pro and to my surprise I am absolutely in love with my Pixel Fold! I don't notice any performance differences between the 8 Pro and the Fold. I also had a Vivo X Fold 2 and Z Fold 4 earlier and the Pixel Fold is my favorite device of 2023 by far. The landscape orientation, which is the only foldable device that opens in that orientation, and the perfect cover display makes it a pure joy to use! I only wish the inner display wasn't so reflective, but I got used to it. Thank you for your reviews and keep up the great work!
Pold > OnePlus Open I rather a beta version of foldable tech from Google than any refined or beta work from another company. All other foldables can be better than the Pold in whatever category people choose. I will take the growing pains of the software nd hardware experience Google offers with the Pold.
One of the worst things the internet has done to us is to train people that anyone who has a different opinion than them must be dishonest or biased in some way that they're not. We all have preferences. Grow up and learn to accept that.
I look at the bezel on the inside and I get completely unexcited. That thing is horrendous. To me the OnePlus open is the most exciting. Not because of the device itself but because of the idea of more competition at a cheaper price in the foldable market. In a form factor that's actually usable. I'M LOOKING AT YOU SCAMSUNG
I love the way the Pixel looks. To me, it's easily the best looking foldable. I've never seen the appeal of teeny tiny bezels, especially on a tablet. It's easier to hold + no hole punch or udc camera, which is a big win for me.
@scaryifliteral I’ve noticed my Pixel Fold and Pixel phones in general, have a noticeable stutter when scrolling (especially in Google News). How does the OnePlus Open compare in terms of scrolling smoothness versus the Pixel Fold? Does the Snapdragon chip and or larger amounts of RAM make a difference or is it just Android generally that doesn’t scroll as smoothly as the iPhone? My Fold is my personal phone and iPhone is for work.

Is the standard cheaper Motorola Flip thinner than the Plus ?
Mine has 126 cycles and battery life is fine for me. Definitely got better over time.
I added a clear skin on the back and the camera bump. Same front screen protector as you.
Device is totally like new still. I use it as my sole phone and computer really for everything. Hinge is same as when I got it.
Software is getting better all the time.
I am perfectly happy with mine and will keep it until the pixel fold 2 or if Samsung ever change their form factor.
Nice long term review. I concur with it.
Where did you get your clear skin
Function over form!
I couldn't agree more! Great video Shane!
Love my pixel fold, only thing I wish the speakers were as loud as my pixel 7 pro I find the fold sounds great but it's not loud enough sometimes.
What happened to the wifi??
I need two finger swipe down to split screen 🥲 lol. Come on Google, add it so EVERYONE GETS IT!
Thanks so much for your input and opportunity to learn about the fold
I'm thinking about the next one😊
I love my pixel fold. Best phone ever. Great video brother. 😊
Fold 5 may be basic to most, but it's my first foldable phone, and I love it, especially with Goodlock I freaking love Goodlock
This has got to be one of the best Google devices.
I hope I get my December drop soon. I love my Fold
IMO the best thing over Apple Samsung, all the above cant touch this for me ❤
I have the pixel fold and i love it. The inner screen still holding strong, couple of scratches but overall the phone is amazing
I'm using Airpods on my Pixel Fold and they work great
I'm wondering what's up with that also, because I own at least 20 plus earbuds and about 30 headphones and they all connect just fine.
@@peterheemskerk3182 you can use Airpods with a Pixel? How? I thought Apple didn't allow that
@@RJ_Uploads I think it's an issue that affects certain Pixels and not just the Fold. I posted about on the Pixel and Pixel Fold subreddit and others were experiencing the same issue
@@Bob_Squared23 very understandable, did they ever give you the reason that caused that.
The last update was dope just made me factory reset so I can use them
Your channel has had the best pixel fold coverage and actually convinced me to get the device as an upgrade to my 7 pro. Great fold coverage and video topics.
Great to hear!
We also need to remember that it is third generation release to be realistic for the oneplus fold. Oppo find n is just the same company but now with the global release renamed oneplus fold
The one plus open for me all day long. Its form factor and design blows every single foldable available in the western market completely out the water imo
If it were just a bit shorter.. lol
It doesn't tho does it! RUclips hype but durability and software is rubbish!
@@Gamer_85 opinions are like arseholes everyone has one and I don't care for yours
@@jamiehunter3567 so why would anyone want to listen to yours? Practice what you preach pal
I really am happy with my Pixel Fold. Pixel experience on a foldable? Heck yeah!!!
New subscriber. Great video ! Thanks for the info.
Lol
Surface Duo 1 - best phone ever- Sony Xperia 1 as well. Just amazing devices.
Shane, love your channel man. Was the dbrand skin worth the $40? Im using the back of the pitaka case but the leather look is beautiful.
Thanks dude! 100% worth it
how would you compare your Z Fold 4 experience to the Pixel Fold? Pros and cons of each of them for example, Pixel seems to be more robust at the eye at least?
Hey Shane question: pixel fold for $1000 or oneplus open for $1400 ? Which should i pick?
I can only speak for myself, I'd go Pixel Fold.
One of my biggest regrets this years was cancelling my pixek fold preorder which i was getting for $800 😞 oh well next time fold 5 for now
Most exciting i will have to say the pixel fold. I loved mine, although i did sell it. And thats because of the service reception on the device. It was not up to par with my older iphone, or even a samsung. So i decided to sell it and pick up a z fold 5. im happy although i do miss the form factor of the pixel fold.
I hope google stays with that form factor on the pixel fold better hardware and a little bit less bezels on the inside screen,
Pixel Fold is so clearly a first gen device.
@@scaryifliteral i hope so. as a former surface duo 1 user the pixel fold would be the best choice i think. at the moment i use the s23 ultra and love the dex feature. dex an s-pen are the only two things i would miss with pixel fold. so i consider a fold 5 instead... it is so hard to do the right choice :-(
Most exciting device for me is either z flip 5 or OnePlus open
in 6 months, I have already had 3 replaced due to the failure of the internal screen nice
That's inconceivably unlucky
Just traded my galaxy fold 5 for a pixel fold wow what a different device ..
I have the speckels on the corners as well i think its from the contact of the magnets.
Could be
My exciting phone for me is the pixel fold and the osom/solana saga
The Pixel Fold is amazing 🤩
Good video👍
This is my second fold and I still have bubbles underneath the screen protector when it is unfolded
I love my Pixel fold. If they come out with a lighter version next year I'll trade mine in for the lighter of the two. 😂😂😂
I see everyone using the Dbrand skins for the Fold, but are there any good slim cases available?
Not really
I have the same speck on the bezel, in the exact same spot, but on both sides. Mine mirror eachother...
Makes me wonder if its the closing of the device. Are the top corners of the screen protector touching each other during a close ? Anything similar happening on the bottom corners ?
@@jasonziter I'm inclined to think the same... My bottom corners look fine and the 2 specks i described have not gotten any worse, so...
Terrible situation, but I'm glad it's resolved for you!
One plus Open all day
Shane I'm a surface duo 1 and 2 user still using my duo 2
I've just ordered the pixel fold is it better than the duo 2 and does it feel like what the duo 3 could have been
Funnily enough, Duo 3 was going to be taller, more like the Open lol. Pixel Fold is more like what I would have wanted from a Duo 3 (if dual screen is out of the picture). Great a two apps at a time, good aspect ratio, great software, great camera.
Hope you like it!
@@scaryifliteral I've followed your channel and I knew you loved the duo, I feel naughty leaving it for the fold but due too lack of support and end of life is October I believe time to move on
Yeah, it sort of is what it is at this point. Sadly.
@@scaryifliteral got the fold I'm liking it but still feel off compared too duo 2
How long did it take you to adapt to the fold?
Is the forced ratio only available to beta testers ?
It rolled out to stable a little while ago
Pixel Fold software will improve over time. OnePlus Open software will get worse over time. Galaxy Fold 5 will start almost exactly the same over time. I've owned 2/3 of these and you really can't go wrong. Exciting time to own a foldable
Why does your screen time widget show the apps again, but mine only shows the time? Same size widget and I'm on qpr 2 beta 2.
Try changing the size of the widget
@@scaryifliteral Oh I have, and it works, but then it doesn't fit my home screen!
Tech Odessey called it the biggest flop of 2023
I am more in agreement with your opinions about the pixel fold
I returned cause Android apps sucks in the DJ culture world.
Pold > OnePlus Open
I rather a beta version of foldable tech from Google than any refined or beta work from another company. All other foldables can be better than the Pold in whatever category people choose. I will take the growing pains of the software nd hardware experience Google offers with the Pold.
Hey bro how to get this skin
Dbrand
Pixel fold truly some bullshit . Pixel 8 pro might be my next device ( if i can get the bay blue in a 1tb). Or s24 ultra.. i havent decided yet..
Don't. Battery life sucks.
Pure copium 😂
To be honest, I'd have to check. This isn't something I've actually noticed.
I've found it's most noticeable when scrolling through feeds slowly and continuously. Are you seeing that with yours under those conditions?
I haven't noticed that with my fold.
