LEGENDARY voice, and music, INSTANTLY brings me back to my childhood's living room floor 💙
When Pete Rose got his 3,000 hits, it was fitting that Tony Perez, his ex-teammate congratulated him at first base. That was classic👍!
That A's hot start would be surprisingly cooled off quickly. Weird to think they looked that good so early given their final record.
I think they will finish 69-93 in 6th place. Go A's. I loved them as a kid in the 70's into early 90's.
Wow Thurman Munson died about three months later after that video 😔
Actually, that is incorrect. This aired in May 1978. Thurman tragically was killed in a plane crash in Ohio in August 1979.
Sorry gramps. Drugs and alcohol was more important than my dreams. I was too small but would have had a slightl chance had i dedicated myself! Love u see u soon enuf....time flies love while u can!
Thurman Munson was the man
Thanks
The commercials are much newer. Is this from a collectors set or something?
its a reply on espn classics must be from the 90's
Oh ok. Thanks.
