The wig shoutout to Andy -glorious😂
Matt, when you put that wig on and continued talking about the tea was funny. Thinking about Andy, February 9 is his birthday. Happy Birthday Andy
Oh bless you Matt, I think a good nights sleep is needed.
The house was stunning. The amount of work with painting those ceilings was incredible.
Such a shame they’d barricaded part of the home. Oh if only we knew what was in there!
Another amazing find. Matt you are excelling. Ninety minutes of pure bliss.
Thank you.
It was over way to soon!
Totally agree - love your work!
okay at 4:49 you were looking at that italian giant wording on the wall. According to Google Lens it said:
Ode to Salamina Da Sugo
1 The well set table, the tablecloth, the candles, the glasses, and the poliushed cutlery make everyone happy and sincere!
2 If you want to have a perfect lunch with cappelletti broth you must start.
3 It will stop you: you will also unlock your laces with a red ragout covering your caps: cal desco don't get up anymore!
4 Beautiful mail is yet to come; she arrives the great queen, that great pain that makes all the augusts soothed: The Salamina!
5 Since the times of messisbugo you have found Salama Da Sugohere! The grand duchess Renata of France wanted to eat Crepancia
6 Even if your lips are hungry, don't make them much since it is very royal food that was only used once at christmas!
7 Try tro think: the day is dark, the heavy fog is setting outside, but the famous Salama is being prepared in the hot smoky kitchen!
8 Noise of pottery in the dining room; the table of this realme is ready! Does large Baillame from in the kitchen? But it's the salama cooking in the pan!
9 Col so pure and not beautifully informed and N'as wed the time of Faran Seniculadaj planning morning with respect and S'L'E Bona; Beat and Sbatacia Al Fazzulet!
10 She goes in Scapituzada in the night, teeth into her agh going to col Guciar, as she pulled on the picula Sbruzzada... Mo Mamma! I am sent to be afraid!
Okay well I have to assume that google lens read some of that wrong because it makes less than 0 sense. I couldn't get the entire thing on camera, but most of it is there, and I don't feel enlightened by Google Lens's interpretation XD
Matt at 31:30 that's Geppetto, you know Pinocchio's father!
As you requested Matt!
WATTLE & DAUB:
Wattle and daub is a composite building method used for making walls and buildings, in which a woven lattice of wooden strips called "wattle" is "daubed" with a sticky material usually made of some combination of wet soil, clay, sand, animal dung and straw. Wattle and daub has been used for at least 6,000 years and is still an important construction method in many parts of the world. Many historic buildings include wattle and daub construction.
🥰❤❤
Can't wait to find out what was upstairs in this 600 year old house. I love mysteries.
I was wetting myself laughing when you put the wig on & acted like nothing was different! Brilliant! 😂
I do like and appreciate that you talk to us as if we were actually there with you. I really feel like I am on the adventure with you!!🥰❤❤
I've only recently started watching as many of your explores as possible, but I can't help feeling that whoever owned and loved this place was absolutely thrilled to have you appreciate everything the way you did. You are just lovely. G from Boston.
Matt was always respectful to the items in other people's home.
@@jeanieheidbreder1539 I'm so impressed by him. He's just got so many wonderful qualities. His sincerity is number one.
I think that square toilet is for emptying bed pans, its called a sluice toilet....not sure if i spelled it right.
That " pipe kit " looks like it could be a nebulizer kit for someone with asthma. Just a guess by looking at a couple of the pieces. Nice looking wig .😉
Pierre Cardin bathroom fixtures! 😂
Oh WOW‼️ That child's (?) bedroom with all of the amazing pictures of fairy tales painted along the walls was unique and so beautiful! I loved it and I've never seen anything like it!🥰❤❤
Thanks for you hard work and dedication to the channel. Take care

Probably won't be long before Adam Mark turns up with his cat balls.
The religous pictures are lovely. One of your better European Explores Matt.
Matt I love that ceiling!!! Amazing!!!! ❤❤❤❤. 😂😂😂that head!! I love the paintings! Matt, that wig, I died!! 😂😂😂. I have to watch the rest later. Will comment more then. Love, Betty from the USA
Back for the rest of this explore. This building is brilliant! Such detailed designs all over. I love the room with all the pictures on the wall. How awesome. The singer sewing machine was in pretty good shape. I really enjoyed this explore!! Thanks for all you do for us!! ❤❤❤
Another brilliant video, I can’t believe you sat on the toilet, but it did make me laugh.😂😂😂
When you said it was the Italian version of You and Andy, it was really Lorral and Hardy 😂. Thanks for another amazing video Matt.
Good job the beams upstairs didn't go too far apart,id vision's of you doing the splits, top job Matt this one a beauty .
The food cupboard with a mesh door was to stop flies getting at it!
Such a lovely old building. That's for taking us there Matt x
This is so sad, This house is absolutely gorgeous it should not be abandoned😢
Bring back memories when my son was young. They have a 1000 questions Matt. Everything you're finding is so amazing. I love it. Thank you so much.😊
The ceilings on this building were beautiful. Matt I'm glad that you didn't fall into the toilet when sitting on it 😂.Great explore I've always wanted to go to Italy but never made it ..Cheers 😊 So much history and day's gone by and eerie vibes . CHEERS MATT XXXX
Once these buildings have gone we will never see them 😭😔 again and it's very sad because they're beautiful buildings thank you Matt for documenting history, you do a brilliant job!
Hi Matt, Topolino in Italian is Baby mouse, how cute!
You are so amusing. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Freddie surely has your eyes. I like your rambling and talking to us as if we are there. Mary is portrayed as blond and brunette around Mediterranean countries. Plates are commonly hung on walls. Glowing heart of Jesus is very common in Catholic pictures. Could listen to your accent all day.
Fantastic video… I love the old house .. the wig was quite a surprise 😂. The painting on the walls was fantastic… be safe my friend ❤
Oh matt love u..I laughed 😂 so much when you was talking serious and you was wearing the wig. Your brilliant ❤
12:18 I find you look at the things I want to see, unlike other explorers!
Great explore, but you forgot the other narrow stairs, Matt.
A GREAT place. I'd really like to sketch the room with the chairs and staircase. In natural light there are some good shadows. Cheers for another GOOD explore, Matt.
Rewatching… love the pink fireplace with the unusually shaped opening. Would love something like that
When you said "That's a big hole" 😂 my gutter mind.. haha. Great episode ❤
What an awesome explore Matt, absolutely beautiful 🤩. It just goes to show you how artistic people were back in the time. Thankyou so very much. Stay safe ❤️.
The word that comes to my mind is spectacular. What a beautiful building this is even though it's in such disarray.😮
Matt your sense of wonder and curiosity is endearing❤
Looking forward to watching, ❤
Woo hoo you managed to upload it! Looking forward to this ❤❤
Never stop speaking to us the way you do. We are there with you in spirit and we love every second of it.😊❤
I feel the same way,
I love you Matt. In fact I always thought of you as my favorite, but I miss Andy so much. I hope he's well. Maybe I am just speaking for myself but I feel like if we knew why he left I might have some closure.
Gorgeous 💖 the sticks coming out of the walls ,yes, were for shelves, you can see the shadows on the walls above them where there were some. Gosh the place is awesome, i love it
I wasn't thinking don't go up there, I was actually thinking, go hurry up before it's dark and we can't see properly 😂
Beautiful place!
I thought they were handcuffs with keys ! Beautiful place, if only the walls could tell you it's history! I mean, they kinda do already. Thank you for treating us like as if we were there with you ❤❤
Fabulous building and loving the new hair. 🇮🇪❤️☘️
Absolutely loved this place.
I don't know where you are in Italy but there is a place I know called Villa Zanelli. Villa Zanelli was built in 1907 in Liberty style in Savona. It was commissioned by Nicolò Zanelli to the architects Pietro Fenoglio and Gottardo Gussoni as a summer residence and dedicated to his girlfriend Rosa.
Did you know there is an Abandoned Italian City in the Red Zone (Zona Rossa) When most residents were sleeping in their homes, an earthquake struck central Italy in the dead of the night. By the time the dust settles, hundreds had died. Immediately following the earthquake, some 30.000 people were relocated along the coast. And some 28.000 have been housed in 180 tent cities, located on the outskirts of the epicenter and several smaller cities. You should go there, BUT, have someone with you.
Hey Matt my brain is going weird as well because I see both of those faces on the wall!!🥰❤❤
The little foot bath would be a brilliant doggie shower.
Okay...did some research from mr history my husband. Forgive me, I don’t explain it as well.
Brian says the M C D could mean , because it was surrounded by family crests and symbolism, that the crests were given to the family on M C D .
Often times, many centuries ago, when the crest was created or honored, they would set the date and surround it with the crests to honor whatever event or congratulatory event was offered with the crest(s).
So for some reason, they received a family honor in 1400, or the name of the family somehow became important in 1400!
Interesting!
Great great video! Really enjoyed the history and photos. The mansion is amazing!
Enjoy your trips and stay safe.
What a beautiful place! 🥰🥰
PS loved the little wig wink!
😄😄😄😄
I know that brilliant video, Matt and I do like it when you rummage in the drawers and find out all the goodies. It’s nice when you find letters and you read them out and it’s nice when you find photos and go through them. I do like it when you have a good rummage. It’s nice when you go somewhere and go somewhere a bit dangerous like when you went up the stairs into the attic, I think you are very brave to go round these places on your own. If I did that I would have to wear an nappy. Keep up the good work mat, 👍
Glad I caught you live, Matt! x
Beautiful explore, Matt! Thank you!
Hey Matt, what a weird and wonderful place, I agree it has a gothic look about it. I love feeling like I’m with you on explores you always give it your all and I appreciate that, love your channel ❤
Looks like Dracula's house. And he had too many at his house party. Thus, the chaos. Love the artwork. Love ur hilarious critiques.
This is worth getting up at 3:00 am here in Canada. Thanks for your hard work Matt!
Hi Matt! Wattle and daub is sticks or twigs covered in mud or clay.😊
Loved this. Looking forward to the catch up. Keep up the great entertainment. 😅 one day u will get the lucky break u deserve.
You don't need to see where you're going, Matt! It looked spectacular with just the natural lighting.
Gosh Matt, I would give anything to explore that place! I believe it's my favorite place yet😎
THANK YOU Matt xx . This is going to be amazing , as always . Can't wait to see what treasure you found for us ❤💃. Hope you are O.K 🥰 xx .
28:41 Looks like Art the clown from Terrifier 😂
wow fantastic today well done mat you are amazing
Awesome video Matt! Thank you for taking us along with you on your travels.
Awesome find!
Enjoying the vid Matt thanks for all you do ✨☘️ the interior and art on the walls is amazing
Waddle and daub is a composite building method used for making walls and buildings in which a wavin lattice of wooden strips called "waddle"Is "daubed"with a sticky material usually made a combination of wet soil, clay, sand, animal dung and straw 👍❤️
Those 3d painted walls are amazing!!! Oh God 1964 the year I was born! 😩
I loved this explore!! What an absolutely beautiful house. Great job, Matt!!
I loved the way that they had painted the "blue" (or discoloured white) bedroom. The design on the ceiling around the light fixture was so charming. 🥰❤❤
Watching this for the 2nd time and realising how much I missed the first time!
The ceiling on the second floor was stunning as was the whole room but I like the ceiling downstairs better!🥰❤❤
Really enjoyed this one Matt, loved it.
32:38 you're a character Matt...thought you were Andy for a minute 😅
That square pattered ceiling was phenomenal! I also loved their colour choice for it.🥰❤❤
Fab can't wait to watch it x
The princess was Cinderella!!! That may have been a children's room. I tell you I sure wish I could live in that house!!!!!
Thanks so much for all you do!🫶🏻❤️
The blue bowl with the number 10 on it - I immediately thought oh that’s been a tombola prize 🤣. That wig was definitely made for you Matt 😂😂😂😂😂. The bairns up here in Fife still play conkers but we’re made of much stronger stuff Matt as you know🤣💪. Love from Scotland 🏴
Matt that's a beautiful "trompe l'oeil" painted ceiling. Literally "trick the eye". That house is fascinating.
20:30 could they possibly be table numbers or room numbers? Fab video as always, Matt 😊
Bless you Matt for giving me what I've been waiting for, going into old homes that have been abandoned for many years. I love old homes, mine was built in 1875.
Watching Monday night cheered me up love yr adventure Matt ❤xxx
The glass tubes, etc. in the box looks like it was used for breathing treatments. That is my professional opinion as a house wife. Great video!! 😂
Hi Matt, those paintings in the children's room were marvelous!
I think your brain is okay I too seen the faces of the man and the women.
Great video, watching late as life is very busy here in Minnesota. Wishing you a great week!
I cannot thank you enough, Matt. This one was over the top, I loved it.😊
Totaly amazing again ❤❤
the blue box in Kitching is for food. it lets food breath and stops varmint.
Great explore
Hi Matt old place looking good in the wig keep on finding new places love you Patricia curry Danville VA ❤
WOW‼️ That stairway was astonishingly beautiful! 🥰❤
Great video Matt, this interior is typical late 1700th, the Baroque era in italy, but something puzzles me, in the baroque era, u will never paint the ceiling ect, in 3D, it will be moulded, so the house properly later, 1800th , not later..my own house in Spain is from 1802, and very similar in interior I will call it a gothic/ baroque house 😂. PS the old bottle is from Intituto Magliano founded in 1849 in Genova, and it's still there, the best doctors and pharmacists was educated there, they produced tuberculosis serum, at that time..
Pronto soccorso is the emergency room. The tower that houses Big Benn is Elizabeth Tower. The glass item in the case looks like an early type of nebuliser set for lung conditions.
Great video Matt ❤
I loved this building and all the paintings on the walls and ceilings. This is an amazing explore already in Italy x
Amazing video 😊
Thanks
❤️❤️
I’d make a terrible explorer. I’d want to read and look at EVERYTHING I’d come across. I understand you, Matt.
That wall could have had circular portrait frames on it.
