Disgusting and Embarrassing that we can't provide and look after our Elderly in this Country. Oh dear Gods this one left me feeling physically sick. It's the first time I have ever seen a property that I physically know. I immediately recognised it from the microscopic bit of outside you showed, which is how I now finally understand how others recognise locations even when nothing apparent is shown. I'm not able to drive anymore so it's about twenty years but every time I went to the hospital on my journey I would go past this. It looked Completely derelict at one side and semi derelict at the other end. Like one half of the house shut down and the rest falling down. Then one day going past we realised to our horror that it was occupied. It was something crazy like different curtains in the downstairs window! We'd always looked at it because we thought it was derelict and long abandoned then too. Especially it's location, that made it odd. That's been in that state decades. I don't understand How it got to this, nor how he was left to live in that, not just in 2023 but in the Decades leading up to it. But this is why I Love your channel, not sensationalised, just shocked and disbelief at what he must have endured to live there. The expression on your face when you turned the camera as you were winding up upstairs in the bedroom, it's your compassionate that puts you way above other explorers. I obviously never knew the gentleman there or his story but his home resonated with me for decades. I cannot believe that he was still living there, like that just a couple of months ago 💔

The poor man had to spend out his days living like this & never had any visitors until he passed away, because surely if he did he wouldn't have been left to live in a ruin 😢

I think most people take modern comforts of living for granted, he was a miserable old man but was obviously happy living the way he did , cant of been a bad life living till 90 in there

Did you look round the out buildings? And the picture of the property looks like a farmhouse and yard with it, the horses was probably still his. The metal tags are pig tags the hand shears with them are for shearing sheep
