- Some houses are made of brick and some of stone, some have two floor and some have three but this weird abandoned building is three metres tall and 70 meters long , made out of wood the owner found in other peoples bins!

Sorry I missed the premier.... I had to comment as Matt said you can't get long eared bats.... In fact you can.... You can get Brown Long Eared Bat and the Grey Long Eared Bat.... So yes Andy was right that you can get long eared bats. What an interesting house 😊

I'm 79 yes old, but I always watch your video, i just wanted to tell Andy I had the same accident I came of my bike and the edge of the pavement hit my coccyx , so painful.
Maybe they had a book shop and sold other second hand stuff as well. when they retired they put it all in there home and then did boot fairs as well. just a thought?? I would love to have spent all day looking through those books. Anther good one, laughing so much with tears in my eyes. Absolut Magic.
Andy was probably thinking of the Long Eared Brown Bat that's found in the UK. Andy- 1, Matt- 0. And because of what Matt said about the moth at the beginning, just a bit of useless trivia: The Kitti's Hog-nosed Bat (also known as the Bumblebee Bat) is the worlds smallest bat at 29 to 33mm (1.1 to 1.3 inches) in length and weighs 2g (0.071 oz) and is possibly the worlds smallest mammal. But it's only found in Thailand and Myanmar. 🦇

The Alcathoe bat is a brand new species to the U.K. it was established 2010. Bats are a very protected species and must not be dusturbed

I have had more books then that and I've read them all. Also very mixed genre. But a few years ago I got tired of having piles of them and not finding the book I wanted without searching like mad. So I ended up going over them. Sold some, donated some, use som for crafting and kept my absolute favorites. Still tons of them. But at least they are in single rows on the shelves now and not 3 rows and piles on every shelf and table

Heat rises and it will be harder for the heat to get through a ceiling than through air, so it kept the heat in the room in a lot of old houses, people were also shorter on average and it saves on building and labour costs. Best guesses anyway lol

My son is 18 and has a CD player and uses it all of the time, so your wrong Matt! He like to look in charity shops for Cds for it too! Also my Daughter has a CD player and she is 16! One of my uncles covered his ceilings with Playboy centerfolds, he even made curtains outta them! Never forget my mom slapping her hand over my eyes when we went for a surprise visit!😂 She's the one that got the surprise and I never did tell her that she was too late trying to cover my eyes!😂 I have told my uncle that I remember his place, (I was maybe four at the time) we have a good laugh about it 😜 I'm now 63 and he's 83.

Cluttered. Hoarded out +, the weirdest thing ever, in the middle of nowhere in the woods! CRAZY. Looks like someone just picked a bunch of junk off every time it was garbage night, when people show their crap out and they picked it up + brought it home.
The big round glass thing with the hole in it and all the balls around the bottom might have been some kind of BINGO game or lottery numbers picking machine.

I loved the bedroom with the posters and pics reminded me of a sports fan who was into art and music room. I had posters in my own room when I was young, and would of loved to have been allowed to cover my wall but no, not a thing my mum appreciated. By the way my dads from Sheffield, born and bred I believe. Always wanted to live in Yorkshire and most of my family up there too, but I live down sowff 😂 apart from b’room the rest was really odd… always make for a laugh. No hats though at mo,, only half way through though… bring in Andy’s Hat calendar lolol

I was wondering if warehouse or business tax is more expensive than council tax. If so, maybe the person cobbled together a "house" to store the books, so he didn't have to pay the higher tax.
