I don't understand why people get upset if you touch things. Apparently family/friends don't want anything and it's not a museum or a shrine. It is just material things we all have to leave behind.
What I find the most disturbing is that these items could be salvaged or given to the less fortunate. Instead, it will eventually all end up in the landfill due to dampness, mold and animal feces. Nothing lives on except the videos. Thanks for all you do 😊❤
Well said there, that's so true what you have said 😊
Is your mam and dad and grandparents still alive. I would literally like to know.
Yes of course I agree 👍💯😊😀👌 with you people who are less fortunate they could do with that kind of posetions like 👍😉😄 that and love it and make them happy.
@@MargaretFakesch-sw4eq
I understand what you are saying. I will tell you that I feel the same in a way.
My dilemma is another part of me feels like I am "stealing" the things. I know that is kind of irrational as they're there and going to ruin, but in the same token without permission of the owner (which isn't going to happen realistically) I don't feel I have the right to take anything.
If its just touching stuff..well..IDK?...I think its okay personally as long as we are gentle and respectful to others peoples property. Maybe its a matter of respecting peoples property, but then he could argue don't enter the house at all?.
I guess it's a hard one to explain, perhaps some of us are just more sentimental?
What would a Saturday be without Abandoned World Explorer?
Thanks, Dave and Company!!! 😉👍
My wife and I absolutely loved this one. It's one of the best explores I've seen - so much stuff, and so many classic 'old person' things like the new tellie just put straight in front of the old one! Plus a very unusual style of home decor that you don't see in Britain often (perhaps it's more common in the West Indies). It seems like they were semi-hoarders, ie, they didn't purposely go out and collect stuff but they just kept everything that came in.
This house just kept giving. Never seen anything like it. Great explore. Love you Dave please stop getting upset that some people are not watching your videos all the way through.
I can’t believe that you found this house it’s literally a shrine 🥰 It kind of reminds me of one of my deceased aunts house. She had a whole wall of clocks in her dining room, I loved the clocks and other things!! I can’t figure out why nobody has taken care of all these precious and valuable items!!🙏🏻🥰 Hello Dave 🥰 What a beautiful find ❤ Solid gold 🥰
This is such a beautiful home I wish a family member would come and save everything it breaks my heart 💔 seeing all these family photos and memories left behind. Great explore Dave for some reason this one made me emotional 😔 keep up the amazing exploring Dave love your channel 🤘🏼❤️
there is no harm done looking through things just as long it is left the way it was found.
This place is INSANE! WOW! It makes me think of folks who were poor, then suddenly got rich and went crazy with shopping. By the way, I've followed your videos for 3 years, and never click off until they're done. I respect your approach and how you honor the families who once lived there.
I thought maybe the same ! Moved on to bigger and better things ! 😊
Yes I got that impression too. I think they were from the Caribbean or a former British colony and may have grown up very poor.
I really enjoyed seeing all of the old antiques! I had some horders in the family,,,,like you said it's definitely an emotional issue and they replace people with things! Be Blessed!😊
You are right. I went through a stroke that took me 5 years to get over. All of the sudden family I'd financially supported decades didn't stop by to visit. So you buy yourself things, to love yourself, because suddenly you mean nothing and are alone.
Dave your very handsome!
I always thought that too.
Yeah
That smile is 💋
And the sweetest soul I would love to know all my life! So happy I found your channel
Eye candy. 😊
Ok sooooo the detective that I am lol if I'm not mistaken you are in a home who was the first black boxing promoter in the UK and business man in Grimsby 🥰
What happened to his wife and family?
So Bob Marley has nothing to do with this house?
@@Lynn_Up_Northno
You beat me to it!
I came to the same conclusion YanaYana . All the sons of the family where/are boxers... can find no link to Bob Marley though so I wonder if someone has been telling Dave porkies ;)
Thank you for exploring this house. It is gorgeous. I can't believe all of the things that were left behind. It is so sad knowing everything will be left to rot.
This was a great one. Well, you didn’t fall through any floors or ceilings. Place was a little overgrown with STUFF, but you did a nice job video taping it all. Hang in there, we’ll keep supporting you. Saving my pennies (so to speak) to share with you soon. Love you, and thanks for everything you do. Stay positive and healthy.
Secret room? I’m in! This is so sad though. Grandpa bought gifts but never got to wrap them. 😢
Such a shame it’s all been left it’s very sad. You know I’m a fan Dave have been for years. Hope you got some rest look after yourself
PLEASE DO A PART 2 !!...... I LOVE THIS!!!! SO NOSTALGIC!!💕💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕💕 You Could Look Through More things, & More of the House! This was SO VERY COOL! One of the Best Houses I've seen! Made me Feel Things I haven't in a Long Time, through Memories! Yes, it's Tight in there, But Its WORTH Looking Through! 👍😎😀💜🙌 & I've just SUBSCRIBED!!🎉🎉
Can you imagine being the child on the receiving end of those Christmas gifts!
What if you found out who the remaining family is, and let them know, or found an address and mailed them. The kids would be adults
The bank may own or have taken repossession of the house. And if so, they wouldn't be allowed in to take any belongings, because technically the bank owns everything inside. At least that's the protocol in the US. It's very shitty.
@@AprilMIller-z2cthat's why you take what means the most and leave the rest if you had time too...
Keep doing what your doing bro I think your still getting over your grandmother that's hard I still think of mine everyday and she passed 25 years years ago it gets better but you'll always love her lots of love from Aussie
The song " The grandfather clock stood taller than the shelf , when the old man died, it stopped short never to go again when the old man died
Tick tock tick tock
Ohhh my goodness...can't wait to watch this...looks like a great one...as always...love ya loads...here we go❤❤❤❤❤❤...oh my...all these toys that could go to children that don't have any...someone needs to come and save these things...😮😊
Wow, it's hard to believe they would leave so much behind. They could have had an Auction to get rid of it and make money from it. I would have loved to walk through that home with you just to see all the amazing things inside. Thank you, Dave, for this video and caring for their things. I'm surprised that no one had destroyed it yet!!!
Thanks for sharing this video with us ! So many great memories they left behind specially the hand made rugs they are beautiful 🙌🏼💟
This is epic but sad to i really mis bob i think the world needs a bob Marley thanks for the great episode brother Dave
Great comment hun, I think so too ❤x
@@sapphirehaynes3949 awww thank you
@@dennisdegroot5327 you're very welcome x
I prefer to watch your videos than most others because you show such compassion and empathy but with complete professionalism. I watched a video that 2 young men posted on RUclips. An abandoned town in upstate New York. I’m usually naive & too trusting- that was kind of difficult to admit because I’m probably in the top ten of the oldest viewers 😂🤫
I give people too much credit so I was surprised at myself when I kept feeling kind of negative towards them. Idk but I couldn’t shake it. Even watched it with my husband & he knows my favorite channels- he agreed.
You guys are so careful and trustworthy
We appreciate you and all of the team for being extraordinary 💕
To anyone who gets upset about AWE exploring, get over yourself and get off the internet. Don’t watch the videos if you don’t like exploration content!!!
I loved this house ❤, this was a house of someone who was addicted to shopping and that’s where the horde is coming from. I could spend days or even weeks exploring this wonderful gem . Someone needs to save this beautiful house, omg it makes me so sad that the family has just left it there to rot 😢
Yes it does it is memories of people who use to live there at one time and looking at the photos and gems it is justed because of somebody that maybe could not lookafter them selfs at their own home like when they were younger and happy they had their independence then and when you lose that independence as we all get very old and feel like a baerden to siblings that veryone brings up that children leave the nest and have their own lifes. And there can be other situations to that as we get much older in our oldage we will be more independent on others to take care of us and we are not going to live 💔 for every 💔♥❤😢😔💙 me i am 63 now 💔😢 and reaching 70 and after that 80 and who knows i don't know 😕💔❤💙 if i would very reach 90 time justed flys by the days weeks month and years going really fast do you feel that as you are getting older. As when we were kids it couldn't come any faster to growup.
My mom was in real estate, and saw the mountains of stuff parents would cram into their houses. And when they passed, it was all left for the their children to clean up the house, and put it on the market. And here you are, in a house crammed with stuff that could have been donated years ago, or thrown out. Wouldn't that mess with your head to have to go through your parents collection to clean out the house? At first it was kind of sparkly when you started, but as you went on it got so depressing. And you were coughing so much, glad you ended it when you did. Enjoyed this episode, as it brought back a lot of found memories form the 80's & 70's.
my grandparents did this. my mom cleaned up the whole house over 6 months. she and my aunt took what couldn’t be sold. my mom and unvle passed and we had to just throw so much stuff away at thst point. it was kinda awful.
We went through this too. After we took what we wanted, we had this company come in & take everything. Then we cleaned & sold the home. It was so overwhelming that it was a relief to be done with it all.
@@ckswat77zz51 Same here. I had to clean out a house which had been in our family since 1910! I did it in stages. First I went through all the personal items to 'curate' them and decide which were worth keeping. That was the hardest part. How many old letters, for example, do you keep when there are hundreds? Then I collected all the small valuable items, to sell on Ebay. Then, I had everything else valued by an auctioneer and sold off one or two large items. Then everything else went to a clearance company. I had to pay nearly £2000 to have most of the stuff taken to the tip, but it was worth it because the rental income for the property per month was more than that, so every delay cost money. There just wasn't time to sell all the middle-sized stuff on Ebay.
A very fancy clock with a Colgate toothpaste in front of it😮
That's what I like about this explore - there's some really good stuff in there (like the clock) and some real old tat that wouldn't look out of place in Del Boy's flat!
Don’t think it’s anything to do with Bob Marley as that’s Joe Frater’s house, boxing promoter. He died in 2016. His wife died first. Huge family. Great explore!
The house they explored belonged to Joe Fraiter?
Makes sense since the can food had a date stamp a round that time..
Wow..and there's no Fraters around to deal with the house? Maybe they don't want to? 🤔
Can you reach out to them and tell them there's a woman in Africa who is willing to come take care of their family property and ensure their souvenirs are well kept. How do I reach out to this family
Great Explore Dave! So sad to see all that is left.
Every time I see a clock, and you Have to leave it, it breaks my heart. I collect clocks. Breaks my heart. Love ya Dave, stay safe.
Please everyone who watches this..HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON AND SUBSCRIBE❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉

It was very good 👍👌👏😊☺ that you all pose pictures and lit harted fun that made me laugh with good 👍😄😆😀🤣😁 humour great 👍😄😀👌
I like how excited you get about the clocks and the toy cars and the vhs.
This was an interesting video. Thanks for doing all the hard work having to walk over all that stuff!
Thx Dave for nt showing the house before you even start
Love this one Dave missed you last week ❤
Brilliant watch Dave, but very sad, toys in the sitting room looked like all Christmas presents what the children got, I think what you done in there was enough, you don't want to make yourself poorly, thanks for taking us wiv you loved it 👏👏👏👏🥰
This place is gorgeous & I love it! Very cool find & video mate! 🤘❤️👍
Maybe the son didn't want to tackle this hoarders paradise. It is overwhelming.
I think that it literally hadent had any think do with that at all when you get to a very old age as aparent you know it can be so hard and difficult for a child to lookafter you when your needs of somebody to lookafter you and to depend on someone in the family and if they is no one 😔😢💔😕😞 else 😢😔💔 alive 😢😔💔 to look 😢 after you 😢😔 that's what makes 😢😔💔😞 so very sad 😥😞😢😔😪 even your kids you would not ever 😢😞😔💔 think 😢😞😔💔 so 😢😞😔💔 being alone at home 😢😞😔💔 earth cannot manage 😢😞😔💔 or dieing at home alone 😢😞😔😕💔
Amazing how much they left behind. Good job.
Amazing find, Dave. It's definitely a hoarder situation. Maybe when the dad passed, the family had enough of the " stuff" and just left. Something also, loss cripples people emotionally.
But it always seems they leave at Christmas time! What is up with that?
Lotta stuff. Too bad it can't be cleaned out & donated.
28:51 Just a couple seconds before you open the Comic Arcade Pin Ball box, there looks to be a full size standing Arcade game hidden under all the clutter. Can't tell what game but you can see the red control knob for a split second as you pane by with camera.
One of the best, if not the best preserved time capsule!!
Wow David that was quite the explore. Please don’t apologize for opening things like cupboard, drawers, armoire’s and the like. It’s very interesting to see the fashion and the type of things used back in their time. To me, it seemed like someone came into money & just shopped their little heart out. Too bad it wasn’t enjoyed or played with or worn. Another great explore Dave. Keep your chin up and continue to be safe, until then ❤
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place. ✨👍👍👍❤
The Jacobs Creek Shiraz blow up bottle is an Aussie wine.. go us Aussies!!! But love how you are so caring and thoughtful while exploring... xx
I love this place! I love that you were having a laugh with the others. I look forward to whatever you do every week. Look after yourself! ❤
This is a great video Dave. There is so much stuff left behind that I don't understand. What surprises me is that it is still intact and no grafitti. Here is a dig at the king of the UK I am surprised that they haven't declared it part of the crown and taken the proceeds from it. lol This place has alot of memories left behind. Have a great day and safe travels
Hi Dave an incredible video , can’t believe the family left all the antiques 😮glad it hasn’t been vandalised would be a shame , another incredible watch for us thank you ❤
Have a wonderful month Dave and your friends.!!!! Wonderful video. 😊😊😊😊🏡🏡🏡🏡🏡🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤💜💜💜💜
Looks amazing so sad that everything gets left behind like this though 😢
What a crazy place! It must be too hard for the family to clean out. But someone could easily open a thrift store with that house. Love your videos! I watch all of them all the way through, but sometimes in parts when I get interrupted. But I always come back and finish it.
What an amazing house, just so amazed how full of such items brilliant find. I’m just so glade that it hasn’t been ransacked it would be such a shame.
I loved this video! I am like you and just cant believe how someone can go off and leave all their stuff behind. Myndad passed away in January from suicide and my brother and I took all of his stuff out of his house. It was a lot of work but I didnt want to leave all the memories there. His stuff was special to us and we are able to share it with our kids and grandkids. Keep up the videos. They are always amazing and I love seeing every spot you go to. I get to see places I will never get to go to.
Thats some house, dont think they parted with much ,but its all good stuff, some nice things ,they probably lived quite well.😎😍
Fantastic footage of this property we’ve enjoyed your way of showing it.
Enjoy watching your videos Dave. Incredible what you find. As long as it's not paranormal. 😊❤
How very sad. It had so many antiques and collectibles. Too bad it can’t be saved. Just found your channel. Well done.
Aww missed you, looking forward to this 😊❤
hi Dave nice video but sad that everything was lift behind hope you guys were safe out there 🙏🙏🙏🙏 and careful hope to see you soon with Mark I always look forward to watching your videos you are so amazing and you do a great job on your videos you are so funny sometimes special when you are with Mark hope to see more videos much ❤️ to you guys thanks for sharing
Great explore Dave. This is sad, what happened to the family?
WHAT AN AMAZING EXPLORE❤...thanks Dave
Paused after the "Teddy Bear Picnic." Came back & there was a silhouette of Bob Marley in the upper left corner of my Android phone. Why? How did it get there? I'm freaking out. I've been visited by Bob. Love me sum Bob.😇🤙💚
Crazy ! I was born in 1978 and so many memories unlocked ! Bet they had a bit of money 💰 wish I knew the back story why it was just all left ! My parents generation just hoarded everything! That’s why i declutter every so often ! Loved this one Dave ! My favourite so far ❤
Ha ha ha they would of more likely be millionaires yes .
Thanks so much for explore! New follow from Illinois, US. Amazing video! I found similar things going through my parents home. My mom had 5 kids, 9 grands. She hid stuff in the basement until Christmas.
I watched this last night by silent seekers
13:42 it's hard to see but that picture with the sail boat in it, I believe it's a sailboat, is awesome!!
Makes you wonder where they slept at … so many clocks really an amazing video really enjoyed this video be safe. ❤
Yeah, it is quite sad that they left all that stuff there and the situation that happened. You found a very nice gem there!!
Maybe you could try contacting the family and see if they would donate the toys to children in need. Hugs Dave I always love your videos.
Oh what a interessting house,Lots of Memoiren, dont have a end, so much private things, Canterbury belive it,thanks dave for taken us with you, pleace take care of you, love you❤
Good to see you dave ❤ great find is a shame everything left behind 😢 x
Goodness, what a sad house. There's so much stuff! Is it possible the family couldn't deal with all the clutter and walked away. Hoarders just keep hoarding, and then it becomes overwhelming, they can't cope with everything. Combine that with the grief of the father dying when he did, think I'd walk away. Really sad.
Crazy place. My neighbor was a hoarder/collector of all kinds of stuff. I remember being in her house and could barely find room to walk around. She would go shopping and leave her bags full of stuff on the stairway for days. It is a sickness.
16:22 the bar area is insane! 17:02 there’s still electricity? Who pays to keep the electric on in an abandoned house? 32:02 the family left the jewelry & everything behind, how sad.
Great to see you back Dave loved the video...keep up the great work Love Scarlett xxxxxxxxxx
Absolutely amazing place. Can't believe all that stuff left behind.Thank you for taking us with you.
Heres my man. Great to see you. Hope all is well with you
Brilliant house. Love watching these gems xxx
Thanks, Dave. Insane amount of stuff in that place, quite sad. X 💚
You could offer to buy the things in the home, just so you could save everything in the home from the land fill
Flushed away is the film ❤ one of my daughters faves
I've met the creator of mouse trap he was my sister in laws grandfather ❤
Very cool explore Dave
That just doesn't make sense that these people would just up and leave without taking anything and the unbelievable unopened Christmas gifts, and I didn't see a Christmas tree. The VHS tapes in the cupboard under the stairs just amazing. Thank you for sharing this video, take care.
Bro! That's hella crazy that you didn't hear that song playing! Right there! While you were there!😮
Very expensive stuff..rosewood furniture etc….wow
Wow!! You hit the mother lode with this one! If I were an urbexer, I'd want to urbex with you. Always sensitive to their privacy and respectful to their property. A great explore, Dave!!
Am surprised its not been looted dave
❤your camper van epic, looking in drawers people like to see no worries, house was packed great to see ❤Your Videos, your the best DAVE 😊
It's always sad, and a mystery when you see properties like this. People who lived, and then they didn't.
I totally get what you mean by wanting to keep stuff loved ones have bought you as it reminds you of happy times, have struggled with losing my Dad in February.
Another thing what’s with the crocs 😂😂
Good one really enjoyed it shame it's all jus left l luv ur explores u ar really good at it take care luv u loads xx ❤❤

Dave that was brilliant, just watched the life story film of Bob Marley so this was the icing on the cake! It,s like an Alladins cave in there, but as you say it,s poingnant and very sad.I salute you and your collegues for the respect you show.👍👍👍
You did a great job on the video. Keep up the good work..love watching. May God bless you and your family and friends. Thank you again 💓 💖 💗
This is heart breaking. Like they were in the middle of having Christmas and never got to finish....ohhhh 3 days before explains it then
It’s Joe Frater family home. Grimsby legend. His son is Pat ( the name on the present)
Boxing legend and businessman
What a place! Would love to know what happens to these families and their descendants. Love your videos and have watched you from the beginning. What you see is what you get, with none of the rubbish that has been coming from other explorers lately. Keep doing what you are doing Dave.
Fantastic explore Dave stay safe love your videos x
