My heart always breaks when you see people disrespecting someone’s things. It may be abandoned but it was someone’s life and they gathered a lifetime of happiness for themselves. They should be ashamed. Such a beautiful home. Thanks for the opportunity to share this with you.😢❤
yes and no, they are dead and no relation of theirs cared about their effects, i don't know how mahy years its abandoned by it's likely owned by the state who would hire a company to clear it out if anyone chooses to buy the place and pay the back taxes on it. You can't take your possessions with you. Adam is quite careful with belongings, it's no different than if a tv programme maker does this, or archaeology for instance.
@@TheAnonyy it’s not him I speak of But, others. People who go in and steal what doesn’t belong to them for their own gain are disgusting. Makes no difference if the place falls down with everything in it because if it doesn’t belong to you then leave it alone.
It’s definitely like stepping back in time when you go into each room is like a time capsule definitely a time capsule and it is heartbreaking it’s very sad and it’s sad that nobody like Famliy or anyone comes and claims the property and what’s in it and it just gets left thank you for sharing this with us as always we appreciate and enjoy it thank you
Hi, I noticed on those certificates her name, Sheila Beryl Jack. Sheila Beryl Jack, also known as Sheila Beryl Jackson, was born on October 22, 1928, in Madras, India. She was the daughter of Mr. Jack Jackson and Mrs. Muriel Jackson. Sheila had at least one son with Harold Booth and passed away on December 30, 2016, in Matraville, New South Wales, Australia, at the age of 88 - I'm guessing she went to live with her son perhaps in Australia and left her UK home!
Lovely old typewriter. Beautiful old furniture.Lovely to see natural decay rather than vandalism. So sad noone from the family cleared it out.Imagine what it once was.Thankyou for showing me.
What a lovely house going back in time! So sad there is no family that can claim all those beautiful items!! Thank you Adam for taking us along with you!!
This home is just full of things! You could probably spend all day just looking through all of it! The furniture is so nice as well! You always find the most amazing places! Thank you Adam!
Even though the house is damp, mouldy and decaying, I have a warm feeling inside. That home is packed full of memories and mementoes of a well lived life. It's such a shame that any remaining family members haven't been able to take those precious photos and other personal items. Thank you for the kindness and respect you've shown to Sheila and her incredible home ❤ xxx
WOW -there are a few items there that I'd LOVE to see be appraised on the Antiques Roadshow ! I think there are a few real treasures, there, under the dust !
The globe drinks cabinet was probably worth a few bob and a few of the pieces of furniture too. The trinkets looked like old tat to me, I didn't see anything good among them except perhaps for some of the Staffordshire blue chinaware.
“See the old fireplace, just sitting there”. What a rare sight! Most of the fireplaces in old abandoned houses I find are running around all over the place. Sometimes they’re hard to catch! 😝 Great explore Adam! Thanks from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 🙏
Incredible find Adam! This individual loved special items from around the globe. Thank you for touring this unique place. Your respect for homes and items left behind is always appreciated. You are amazing, Adam, at what you do.
ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING EPISODE'S I'VE SEEN ADAM,HOUSE AMAZING ,CAN WE GET A PART#2 THERE MUST BE MORE TO SEE, GREAT EPISODE👍LOVED IT, THANKS ADAM ✌️💞🙏
😢this is my house in about 3 years they tell me. No one to leave it to. Watching these makes me want to try and get rid of everything before vandals come in my home. Beautiful video Adam. You're amazing 😊
Leave things to friends, charity, orphanages. There is no excuse for leaving your affairs to happenstance. If you love animals ♥️ Leave to spay and neuter clinics. I face similar situations. Seek God while you still can. Jesus loves you!
Wow Adam that house was amazing. The ceiling.was beautiful from all the places she had been. It’s sad that no one ever came and got all her antiques. Great video! ❤
Oh my goodness! What a find Adam! I am seeing so many things that I absolutely love 🧡 the globe bar, the typewriter, the owl 🦉 picture over the fireplace! So many beautiful things!🥰
Wow this place is a time capsule! She lived a life with adventure; taking a piece of everyplace she went with her! Absolutely beautiful home & wonderful memories of her life! Fabulous video as always! 👍👍❤️❤️🤘🤘
Thank you, Adam! That house is absolutely beautiful, definitely one of the best you’ve ever shown us around. I can’t believe the amount of stuff left there, just gathering dust and cobwebs, and the family photos, I never understand those being left 😢The chair with the dressing table was lovely. ❤😊
That was really good, so well done . I don’t think I’ll ever get over these abandoned homes with all the items and photos just left to rot . Surely there is some family to mind the houses and contents . Thanks Adam , ❤
Weird you say about clocks, my friend brought me a beautiful one but it never worked, she then passed away unexpectedly and the clock has worked since that day
What an awesome find Adam. Luv the photos & pictures on the wall. Its sad thinking of the memorabilia of someone's life, left to rot. Eerie feeling tbh.
Loved this video! It is so sad to see homes like this that have been left with everything inside. There is so much family members miss out on when this stuff is just left behind.
Looks like they have been buying at boot sales charity shops get a lot different interesting items at boot sales and Charity shops wonderful house though ❤
The device you didn't recognise Adam was called a Viewmaster - yes you put a circular disc in and viewed the pictures in 3D. I still have one exactly the same.
Beautiful home with many antique collectors items. The history stored in this house is very interesting, Sheila must have had a wonderful full life plus traveling and a family. Its so sad to see these abandon places that were once truely loved, but with tax and death duties plus land fees and taxes its no wonder that families cannave these once beautiful homes. All the fees and taxes have to be paid before any family can enter the premises shortly after the death of the owner and take furniture etc. So sad. Thank you Adam 💕🇦🇺
This was an awesome video. The items inside the house showed the life of the people who lived there Loved the fact there wasn’t a tv, and the books were incredible. What a great find and can’t wait til next week’s video! Thank you 😊
Can't wait to hear about this one what a life she had a great time travelling around the world, I'm enjoying watching this amazing place that's unusual the electric is still on thanks Adam for sharing this amazing episode.
What a brilliant time capsule. How sad to see all those beautiful belongings left to decay. I would love to spend time having a look through everything.Hopefully somebody can save them. 😢
Wow there was some beautiful things in that property, what a lovely home ..... love how respectful you are of the items and the property and the way you describe things .... I got a shiver down my spine when you walked into that bedroom with only the dressing table in, dont know why. I think you need to go back there and do a paranormal explore xx
Awesome house a well traveled woman …. Love the house she must of been an awesome woman … just with the stuff left behind … speaks volumes for her way of living … priceless and fabulous…. Well done as always Adam…. 😱👻❤️
The house is amazing so much left, Your the best at exploring all the amazing items left behind. I admire the way you investigate the house no matter what condition it is, you always have the utmost highest respect for the property bringing out the beauty of it. Thanks Adam Loved the Video😀
Brilliant yet again Adam. I really enjoy your Content as do my daughters and one of my Sons.two of my Grandchildren enjoy your explores as well,my Grandaughter got an A+ using one of your explores telling the history of the place ,your research is normally very good. Thank you and all the best Derek
Loved this Adam!!, it's a proper Aladdin's cave in there, a lovely life well lived by the looks of it. I was just 15 during the queen's silver Jubilee and all school children were gifted a mug, not all of them made it home, some got smashed by boys and their high jinx but I hung onto mine for dear life, still in my cabinet as I type, I'm 62 now but I doubt they are worth much in reality as there were so many handed out of varying designs across the country, so nice to look back on though. It's one of those places where you just have to keep staring at to take it all in, I could write so much more but you'd all be bored so I'll stop🤣🤣. well done mate! brilliant!
Used to have a serving hatch in my childhood home, the house was only built in late 60s. But as a kid i thought it was cool as i could peer through to the kitchen while my mum was cooking! Another great video Adam! That dome drinks cabinet is pretty cool!
Great find mark you do a great job going round the 🏠 house you always put items back where you find them so kind of you there is a family member living there i wonder they all left home and the lady s husbard passed away and she decided to leave her home and traveled the world 🌎 every house tells a story we wont know the reason why i aways i always look forward to your videos stay safe guys
This was a very interesting explore, well done. 16:13 I noticed the native American (Sioux tribe)velvet painting, looked like "End of the trail" one of my favorites. Thanks for taking us along, had my attention from start to finish👍💯
What an amazing home , I would of loved to of had some photographs like that of my past family, such as shame they have been left , that makes me sad 😢
I had a viewmaster toy in the 80s. It was red and you put a cardboard disk of slides in, clicked the switch to move the disk round. Love the photos on the ceiling.

I appreciate your respect for others belongings, you are right about people who vandalize others property.
You call your viewers "explorers". I like that. You make people feel a part of the journey.

Swedish Death Cleaning?
Way that structure is it may partially collapse in 3 years
@@debrastarr5083 just about to say this. Should be compulsory when you get to a certain age. I don’t want my things to be thrown in a skip one day,
Why 3 years? We never know how long we have. Doctors can be wrong.

So many treasures! I think my favorite thing was the carved cabinet with the single wine glass inside. It seemed intentionally placed. Thanks Adam!!
