Im from Ecuador where there are a lot of entrepeneurs without any clue of how to make their business successfull and constaltly losing a lot of money. Your videos have helped me establish a marketing plan for my pizza place!! Thank you very much
As a result of what’s going on in the world today, I’ve been out of work since March. I work in live events. Like....the big ones...Stadiums, The Grammys, arenas, the big boy shows. Live events that size probably won’t come back until early 2022 at the rate things are going and a lot of career roadies are screwed. We don’t have a lot of transferable skills to the real world and the ones that do often don’t have degrees so employers won’t even look at their resumes. I’ve decided to launch a small coffee cart in Nashville to help bring awareness to the thousands of people out of work and to also donate some of my earnings to MusiCares (Grammy Foundation). This video was so helpful in helping me understand where to start when it comes to marketing. Thanks for providing the basics here my man. 🤘🏻
Thanks for tuning in John and sharing your story. I wish your small coffee cart success and love the philanthropic side to it. Make sure to join the FB group and we can help you along the way!
Stop. Collaborate and listen. Love the collab idea. You can join multiple beloved local brands in one unique experience. Customers love this. Great tips!
Love how you're doing exactly what you're advertising.. Like replying and hearting individual comments of each and every person.. Great Content, will try these and hopefully tell you the positive results i got :)
I appreciate that the kind words Saif! I'm trying my best to make content for my community and to thank each person. I really appreciate everyone who tunes in!
You are so very welcome! I try to vary in length because sometimes 30 mins is too long... other times 10 mins is just scratching the surface. Hopefully this helps your journey!
This 30-minute video is loaded with rich information about timeless must-have marketing strategies! I agree with tip #3, in which you talk about the significance of an updated website (includes directions, menu & contact info) and optimized SEO. It is indeed another quality content, Wilson. 🙌
Thanks for this content! :) It's very interesting and insightful. One thing I'd recommend, though: there's an echo sound in this big room and it enworsens the quality of the audio. If you can think of a way to eliminate this, it's gonna be perfect!
Such a great and valuable content in just a single video. After watching this video i really don't need further to search for more information on restaurant marketing. Thanks Man!
Wilson love this video! You're clearly an expert. The PR strategy definitely sparked my interest, but didnt see that how to craft free PR link for your ultimate course, can you send over the link?
Hello wilson. Im john and a owner of milktea cafe. I would like to ask some tips and strategies to make a successful sales for this pandemic. Thank you i hope you can see my comment. Godbless!,🙂
umm i wouldn't see festivals as a good investment for direct marketing return. festival is good for the volume game and potential brand awareness. aside from that, many of them are too high outta their minds to even care.. they are always not in the mood to analyze your food since they are hanging with their friends..
man, your video and information is great, but please work on audio. I couldn't even watch it completely i would love to watch it, but bad audio capture and that sound effects in between are very irritating
Likes were at 666, had to bump that up. Great tips, the idea of doing a video is GOLD. I am a digital marketer and that's something I'm going to recommend my clients get.
I liked this video, good ideas! But OMGosh, the bang sound every time the text pops up on the screen was so annoying. First one of your vids I've watched, and the last, if I have to listen to that sound all the time.
Thanks for this video. So helpful. What do you do if a group you allowed to hold events in your store, charges a good amount of fee to their participants? Would you charge them a percentage of their ticket sales? Another scenario, what if you offer it for free completely, even though they charge tickets, and you end up not earning anything because the participants didn’t buy anything from you, how would do you suggest it can be handled better?
glad you liked it. i've seen percentage of sale work. better yet, try to get the organizer to include a free drink/item in their ticket price, then you get guaranteed sales. win-win.
I want to offer incentive for reviews, but I don’t know how to go about it. My restaurant is a counter order place, so no waiters, most people order take out. I was thinking about throwing flyers in the to go bags that say leave us a review for a free ice cream at your next visit, but how would I manage getting them the free item? Do I need to create unique single use coupon codes and dm it to anyone who reviews? How would I know that the review came from the incentive as we get reviews organically already?
4:29. Giving the addresses of competitors is a NO! NO! for me. The F&B industry is so competitive and taking such a step is cheap publicity which will empower your competitors. Instead I will go with the option of apologising for the poor customer service experience and request for a revisit just for them to see and confirm the tremendous efforts made to savage the situation. By so doing, you create a different impression in the minds of the person reading the review. Then he or she will want to try it out just to have a first hand experience...
Who tha heck is gonna answer to a review that thier chef got into an accident and didnt make it on time. That sounds like the excuses I use to give to my boss when I was in high school
Hey Ramadhan their are many methods you can apply to attract more traffic to your shop try having images of your food on social media channels , have enticing deals and word of mouth around the community helps as well I’d love to have a 1 on 1 conversation in regards to the issue if your up for it , also best of wishes on this amazing new year
Yhis video is bs. People do not use social media where to eat. Also no need marketing for a restaurant at all, thats an other bs. This guy is just talking about what he never did. If someone is this bussines they dont have time for making videos on the topic full time trying to make a living on it.
You feeling ok man? Not sure what made you so mad. You already lost me at "people do not use social media where to eat"...but if restaurants don't need to do marketing at all, please teach me how I can do that with your personal case studies and other replicable cases. I think we all want to save on marketing dollars.

Hi Wilson, I love your contents but I need to ask you one thing, how is possible to have a review site? It's a normal website ?
I'm guessing it's not a personal review site, it's an international one like Trip Advisor, where people tend to look for places to go and eat from. :)
What you have to do is create an account on review sites such as the one I mentioned and start posting content there.
@@anastasiacoleiro3711 thank you very much, was very helpful your message.
@Anastasia is spot on!
It would help to have the topics in the description, as well as having timestamps (chapters) in the description :)
Hey Cesar great idea! I'll ask my team to see whether we can begin putting chapters into every video.
Thank you for the great advice Wilson!

No worries
I don't know how can you make the sound more good? Coz I hate the reverb on the room when you talk.
Usually on costumers b.day I ask if we can post their pic on fb, and gets over 4 k views .
I just checked 720 sweets socials and you’re absolutely not practicing what you preach on the social media side, but great advice nonetheless 👍
