    My very first rc was the brushed Granite. In less than a week I went brushless but really for a beginner I should have waited longer and just learned how to drive and maintain the truck. I do own the Brushless Rival now and it's plenty fast and requires some space to really drive it in. Yes LIPO batteries are dangerous and should be stored and charged properly. The car is also dangerous if it hits someone at high speed. The brushed version MT10 is the perfect basher for a beginner and would be easy to upgrade as your driving skills improve. Great job showing this car. 👍👍

    Great unboxing and overview if the MT10 brushed. I'm glad you made this video for the new person venturing into the RC hobby. You hit it out of the park with the tips and first test drive, making sure the electronics are working as well as the battery. I'm glad to hear you say use a lipo bag for charging and not to leave it unattended. Store in a fireproof container, not in the house. Wish I had something else to offer you did excellent 💯💯💯💯💯💯🤜🤛

      @SpareTime RC Thank you really appreciate that👍 When I first saw this RC, I thought about my first RC and what would I want to know the do's and don'ts as I'm coming into the hobby. Sometimes folks coming into the hobby are quick to take an RC like this and make it brushless with out really knowing what it has to offer. I've learned the hard way not to be too quick to just upgrade right after you buy an RC. Enjoy it learn it then improve what you feel needs to be improved based on your driving.

    Can you show the tuning into brushless and bashing in next material?
    Is this bulletproof same as normal one?

    • @ReadySetRC
      @ReadySetRC  2 года назад +1

      @Delta Zero Just as bulletproof as the brushless. I filmed two runs already. One with the provided 2S pack and the second with a 60C 2S pack and upped the pinion to 14T. That woke the truck right up.

    hello, nice video. I am new to rc but i'm old, what oil does this truck use in the shock absorbers?

    • @ReadySetRC
      @ReadySetRC  2 года назад +1

      @Alvaro Loyola The truck uses 40wt shock fluid in the front and rear shocks. I believe it's equivalent to 500cSt. Team Associated has their own shock oils. I've been using them for years. It's under their Factory Team line. Hope this helps.

    • @ReadySetRC
      @ReadySetRC  2 года назад

      @Jason Perrin RC That would be a nice little ripper. When I had the brushless one I threw in a GoolRC 80a ESC and the Arrma 3800KV motor. That thing was like running a Team Corally truck on 6S😱 and that was on 3S.

    • @ReadySetRC
      @ReadySetRC  2 года назад

      @@johnturley4147 Oh, if it's what I think you are talking about it's a loop back plug. The RC you have may be able to run on two battery packs. The loop back plug allows you to run on a single battery pack. Example, so instead of running two 2S packs to get to 4S, you would run a single 4S battery pack with the loop back plug.

    I literally just got this truck in the mail. Hypothetically, I wanted to go brushless on it. What system would you recommend?

    • @ReadySetRC
      @ReadySetRC  2 года назад +1

      @Memz Mtz I got a few spare systems in my parts bin. One of them is going in there. No specifics on manufacturers but looking at a 3300kv motor but no more than 3800kv motor and maybe a 130A ESC if I have something lower I may go that route but I have a few 3S systems lying around. A couple 4S but that would be insane for this truck. I did a swap out the system in the brushless model. I put in a 3S GoolRC ESC and Arrma 3800kv motor. Upped the pinion to 14T, it was a nutball.

    • @memzmtz122
      @memzmtz122 2 года назад +1

      Yea I think 3300kv motor would be perfect for this. It'll be cool if you happen to make a video when you do the brushless conversion. Great videos man, thanks for replying!

      No RCs are truly waterproof. The only way to make them waterproof is to take the electronics apart and coat the boards with conformal coating.

      @BANG For Your Buck Rc Reviews The brushless is a little beast. They actually do have a SCT. Check out the Pro4 SC10. It's a slightly longer chassis but the same layout. What some folks do is swap chassis and center drive shaft and get a longer chassis on the MT10.
