I like the version 1 body more. The version 2 body colors don't harmonize well. The chassis and electronics seem to be identical. It's a great little truck. Super strong but the battery straps are not that great. They are a bit too short to really secure a 3s hard pack.

Versio 2 should come with side steps and exhaust. Look closely at the box. All pictures are pictured with them on. I’ve emailed team associated and they’ve clarified that the v2 should have steps and exhausts and they are sending me them.

If you plan on running a 2s lipo and dont have a charger... yes , i wouldnt as it is such a beast on 3s. Rather get the car and buy a 3s battery and charger for couple coin more than the combo kit🤙🏻

Less is more for weight. Lighter truck will be quicker. It's not much but it's a lil lighter. I like it, might even buy a body to look like it's upgraded lol

I don't know much about rcs I'm actually looking at this video because I'm concidering the mt10 to be my first. How ever I do know electricity and someone correct me If I'm wrong but shorter wires means lower resistance which increases the amperage able to flow through the wires resulting in higher power output to the motor. And for those who don't know how to calculate that you can look into ohms law
What pisses me off is, if you're going to go and make a new release that's just a rehash of the v1, at least give us new hinge pin holders that match the new paint. They didn't even bother, so they're still the OG MT10 blue
There is absolut no difference between v1, v2 or even brushed version. Just body and electronics. And in case of the body, the brushed version is the most beautiful.

You are 100% right. I just bought 2 new GensAce hardshell packs and i cant get really get them tied down in the chassis😒
@@techspac3 I'm going to pick up some longer straps today and replace the stock ones. Straps for a 3s Arrma Granite should work ok.

We just received 2 new MT10s a few days ago. They had the side steps and exhaust pipes in a bag in the box along with the screws to install them.

The Maxx wheelbase is too long for a monster truck.
