Driving that traxxas two wheel drive with one hand.... Not bad. Oh and you actually hit the ramp! Not bad. Good luck with the new channel. Can't wait to see your content , I just Subscribed
Awesome comparison! I would love to see you revisit this after installing a lcg chassis on the slash. I feel like they’re a little more comparable both having a proper lcg chassis. Also you mentioned swapping the tires, maybe try the same tires on both! 😉 You can’t just swap them since the slash has different offset in the front, but you can put a set of 4 traxxas rears on the fury. Btw a 3652 motor will not fit in the fury. The can is not long enough for the motor wires to clear. A 3660 is perfect. Subbed!
@deezrcz Thanks bro! I plan on releasing a video soon with both of them brushless! I just gotta get a gyro for the Slash since I got one for the Fury, I want them to be as equal as possible! And yeah I'll use the same tires too. And actually, a 3652 does fit! That's what's it my Fury. It just needs to be at a certain angle, which I'll talk about in the next video. And yeah, I'll use Slash 4x4 tires on the Fury, I've got a set of them on my Senton. Thanks for the sub, dude! Definitely stick around, I've been planning a new comparison vid for a while! Just gotta get a gyro for the Slash!
@@K5_RC awesome I can’t wait to see more. Good to know about the motor, I haven’t personally tried fitting one but every channel I’ve seen says the 2wd mega series won’t fit a 3652 without modding the chassis. I’m eager to see how it’s down for that opens up a lot more options.
Great video Krappie 🙂 Definitely worth a Sub. I am a giant Arrma Fan-boy, but love Traxxas too ! Btw...... you with one hand, is better than me with 2 hands lol
With the Fury sit the body on its roof, then lower the chassis upside down onto the body. Much easier to see the body mounts going into there mounting sockets, also easier to slide the body mount pins in when you can see them upside down.
Yeah, I like it. The Fury has actually become my favorite platform to drive around. The only reason I said the Fury "looked" a little more toy grade was just from how the chassis looks. But it's incredibly durable and handles like a dream
Just the chassis design makes it look a little less "serious" than something like a 6S Arrma, as well as the body colored plastics, so thats why I think it looks (asthetically) more toy ish. And yeah, it does handle a tiny bit smoother and more predictable than the Slash! But again, the Traxxas remote is much harder to use one handed!
I have a slash vxl 4x4, I have spent a ton of money on parts for that thing and always breaking stuff. I wish I would have just gone with something like the arma and used the extra money for upgrading to brushless.
Everything breaks, man! My Fury just killed the motor so I installed a Hobbywing 10BL120 with the 4000kv 3652 motor. Not much faster on stock gearing, but shouldn't die anytime soon! The Slash 4x4 VXL is on my list of "to get" trucks, especially now they released it with the Heavy Duty upgrades. Should be much tougher! But generally, I'd agree Arrma is tougher out of the box in most cases, but Traxxas is doing good with Heavy Duty parts. Nothing is perfect, though!

@JohnBoy-lq9hb Thanks dude 😅👍 My hands are just a little too stubby for that TQ radio lol. Thanks for the support! I appreciate it

@@gillian9178 Great idea! I'll try that out for sure. Thanks for the comment!
That works great! I've been doing it ever since I read your comment and it's so much easier. I appreciate the feedback!
What armma did with battery box is far better batery is in closed space keps it cleanish

There is nothing toy-like about Arrma. It looks to me like the Arrma handles much better!
