Even with he LCG chassis it's about a 30% front, 70% rear weight distribution. Especially with the lipo installed, which is biased towards the rear. The ESC doesn't weigh much at all, so it doesn't matter where it's placed. Maybe on the 4x4 you'd want it towards the rear, but there's so much weight in the rear of the 2wd as is, it doesn't matter. And I've never even bashed it very hard. In general, though, I usually break arms at the skate park with most trucks. And yeah I'll use the same tires too. And actually, a 3652 does fit! That's what's it my Fury. It just needs to be at a certain angle, which I'll talk about in the next video. And yeah, I'll use Slash 4x4 tires on the Fury, I've got a set of them on my Senton. Thanks for the sub, dude! Definitely stick around, I've been planning a new comparison vid for a while! I have a stock g&g scar l. The guns description recommends a 7.4v lipo. Should I stay away from an 11.1v? I ran it on an 11.1v for a day at the field. Assuming its not recommended, will this one time use significantly reduce the lifespan of the gun?

    • @K5_RC
      @K5_RC 3 месяца назад

      @rover-lj1ih definitely run a 7.4 if you can. And no, it's not likely that you hurt it too much after 1 field day unless you were going crazy with it (like trigger spamming or long bursts of full auto). The gearset and compression set are likely not hurt, but the reason most guns won't take 11.1 is because of the lack of some kind of trigger protection such as a microswitch trigger, MOSFET, or ETU (Electronic Trigger Unit). The G&G Scar doesn't have any of that, so it's likely that your trigger may have taken a little wear, but not likely something to worry about unless you keep going or get abusive. If you can't run a 7.4, just be very nice to it with the 11.1. But even then, it won't last anywhere near as long on 11.1 as it would on 7.4.

      Everything breaks, man! My Fury just killed the motor so I installed a Hobbywing 10BL120 with the 4000kv 3652 motor. Not much faster on stock gearing, but shouldn't die anytime soon! The Slash 4x4 VXL is on my list of "to get" trucks, especially now they released it with the Heavy Duty upgrades. Should be much tougher! But generally, I'd agree Arrma is tougher out of the box in most cases, but Traxxas is doing good with Heavy Duty parts. Nothing is perfect, though!

      Just the chassis design makes it look a little less "serious" than something like a 6S Arrma, as well as the body colored plastics, so thats why I think it looks (asthetically) more toy ish. And yeah, it does handle a tiny bit smoother and more predictable than the Slash! But again, the Traxxas remote is much harder to use one handed!

    • @K5_RC
      @K5_RC 5 месяцев назад

      @AbbyRCToys the Mojave all the way. If you can afford it, it's worth it all day. The Senton is good, but compared to the Mojave, the gears are plastic, it uses a slipper clutch (center diff makes the Mojave handle like a dream), the tires on the Senton are junk, the bumpers aren't as good as the Mojave bumpers, the Mojave shocks are significantly better, and of course 4S power vs 3S power, and 1/8 vs 1/10. They're both great, but the Mojave is better in every single aspect. But if you don't want to spend the extra $170, the Senton won't disappoint

      No, not without some modifications. Good gearset and a decent trigger unit or MOSFET are required to run 11.1 batteries reliably. Of course most airsoft guns can take an 11.1 initially, but may not even last 1 or 2 battery charges before something breaks
