I have this rig. Love it. It's mid motor. I put a brushless system in in it. (HOBBYWING Quicrun 10BL120 G2 & 3660SL G2 Combo (QR10BL120 + 3660-3700KV SL G2 Combo) $90 on Amazon). Not bad price for a great system. Really important to get a 60mm long can. Anything shorter and the motor wires which come out the side, unlike the brushed where it's out the back, will run into the chassis. Anyways, i run this setup on a 20T pinion (i'm a 2s guy) and it flies. Highly recommend. Arrma for this Fury (and the new Vorteks) sells these motor mesh safe plates for 10 bucks. 13-20t. I heard the Gorgon had an issue with sometimes motor slipping on hard landings so this keeps that motor locked in and it's automatically perfect mesh setting. I guess I'll take it. A little bit of a pain in a butt getting it all put together but once it's on, you're set. (Tip: take out the spur gear, run the motor through, then the pinion because it won't fit through the hole, grub screw will barely be visible. This is where having the spur gear out of the way helps, mesh safe plate on, pop spur gear back on. Good to go). Can't wait to see what you guys think of it on brushless. I also e6000'd those red body sliding clips into the metal part. I guess those can pop off on hard landings too.
I love the Furry😂. That shot in the oranges leaves with the green fury cutting through it was epic. I have this and the vortek. I upgraded them both to brushless. Love them. The vortex is more fun than the fury stock. But I think I like the fury is more fun than the vorteks after the brushless upgrade. Cool rc’s no matter how you cut it. 👍✌🏼
Subbed. You guys didn't verbally trash it, even though it's clearly a beginner friendly vehicle. Most rc youtubers tend to get hyper critical on something that isn't the latest and greatest, so it's nice to see you guys enjoying it. Brushless would be fun, and I always vote Hobbywing as I've had nearly half of their products because only rarely do they fail, at least, for me. I dont have a big name company I'm a fan boy of, as I've not had any big name rigs, unless you still call Tamiya big! But I may take my first big name step with this rig, two, one for me and one for the kiddo. I feel she needs to learn the pros and cons of a 2WD rig! Keep up the great work, eager to see part 2 of this!
I love mine! I put a 130a ESC 3800kv system out of a Losi Tenacity T in it and it rips. As soon as I get home from work everyday I grab it and run a few packs through it to wind down and it's so so good! Enjoy it fellas and I can't wait to see what you put in yours, just don't make it undrivable and ruin it.
I have the new 2wd Vorteks and my wife has the Gorgon. We love them and I was gonna pick up a Fury, until the Senton Boost went on sale for $119. I think the Fury is the better truck out of the box, but the Senton Boost has more potential. We've been running my wife's Gorgon with massive Trencher X tires on brushless 3s. The drivetrain has handled it with zero issues.
You should try a cheapo something like Surpass brushless system in it. I put a 4s Surpass in my brushed Infraction and so far no trouble and it rips pretty dang good!
This is the best car I've ever driven. Senton 2x4 is OK, but this guy is the absolute star in my RC sky. I also have a Senton 4x4 BLX, but that's also good but much too fast for a 53-year-old RC grandpa ;)
I love this thing. I got a brushless combo and a gyro radio and it's absolutely incredible to be 2wd. Best decision I've ever made in this hobby.

You guys should do an updated 2wd SC Challenge.
Why don't you use a Amazon budget brushless system, thanks
Now this would be an interesting build video for those of us on a budget. Great suggestion!
Hobbywing quic run a better choice
Do it RC Addict's style! Full Surpass Hobby budget brushless upgrade 👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾
Yessss! Surpass V2 , would love to make it so u can run 3 or 4s😉👍🏽💯

I'm waiting for the ARRMA Mojave Grom BLX because I was so impressed with the "normal" Mojave Grome. I can hardly sleep anymore.

Driving an RC through a field of dead leaves looks so awesome! 👍
Love the state trooper mustache
My recommendation throw in the hobbywing sct 2400kv system good old reliable
I love doing the slide trick anytime I've got one at a park lol
I was looking at getting a couple Gorgon's for my son and I but now this has peaked my interest. Decisions decisions...🤔

The Furry deserves a "reasonable budget" brushless IMO. HW ESC and AliExpress motor type of deal.

I'm running a Spektrum 3660 , 3800kv, Spektrum 130 amp esc, 15 tooth pinion 5mm, Dumborc transmitter and receiver with gyro!
Woop woop brown booger gang 😄 I say good ol' Hobbywing
It's awesome 👍 I still play with my Arrma Granite Voltage , it's been super durable

Very cool Armma Brushless SC Truck the Fury RTR and it comes with Fans for the ESC and Motor for only $230 WHAT ??? Awesome deal !!!!!!
I think you should put a Castle in it.
Bring your mini-z's when you deliver one of those to my face....
😂😂😂😂 i love this comment
@@kingwally4545 Don't forget your mini z's. Make it happen! Lol
the body on this has a very "Modern Hotwheels" look to it, not that I'm complaining, I like the wierd contoured look.
Hobbywing max10 g2 4100kv combo would be a riot 🎉
I would like to see a 3660 sized motor 3200 kv. Just something affordable off Amazon or wherever. Thanks
A 80A brushless esc and 3660-3665 can 3800kv-4000kv motor.
Go with a 4s system. What's wrong with Castle btw? 😂
Personally, I've never seen more issues and fires than I have with Castle.
Hobbywing 2in1 motor esc 🤘
Upgrade to spectrum 3900kv with a 120 a firm esc, and granite tires...well for the gorgon anyways 😊
Put the Losi brushless swap. Keep the 1v1 more fair testing
Hey 10th scale garage did you make sure the transmitter was set on 100% throttle ?????
Yes.
Looks like a stingray. Put a budget surpass hobby jungle website special, those things rip.
get a hobbywing 10bl60a g2 and quicrun 3660 3150-3700kv
Put the gool Rc 60amp brushless esc 3650 3500 kv motor that's $41.99 before the 10% coupon from Amazon cheap as possible
Brought it back like the Blazer or brought it back like the GTO - haha that's great
💯🤸♀️🙌♥️
Hobbywing has a g2 motor, buy esc separately ,amain hobby bout $90
put the Fury BLX motor in it
Hobby wing
nice to have some recognition in the hobbie 😂
3,sd mine.
Hobbywing! Or a Corally rebadge.
I think a Hobbywing Quicrun WP 10bl120 system would make thiat thing squirlier than a one legged crack head. 😂 What do you guys think?
