I just got the brushed one at Tower for $175. I also got a HW 120a esc 3150Kv motor combo, which I got for $65 at Amain since I had a ton of points saved up. I’m putting in a powerhobby servo I already had, which iirc was $80-90. I’ll be using my Sanwa radio. Probably all in about $320-40 if I include the servo for a much nicer than factory car. I couldn’t pass up the deal. Will probably put in the MT8 metal servo horn and an aftermarket motor plate, which apparently is easy to bend.
@hashimrahman51 That Tower Hobbies deal on the TA stuff was better than their own deal. Between the MT and SC hard to pass up. That build sounds amazing💪
U got a jamming deal there man! Let me know how far up on that pinion u can go before it cogs or overheats if u think about it. I got cogging at any thing over 13t w a few different kv motors but didnt go lower that 3300kv. Wondering if that lower HW motor does it u have. Ive had no luck with the lower kv=more torque theory.
Is there any major differences between the brushed version and the Brushless truck? Like any stronger components that the brushless comes with or are the chassis’s the same?
I went with this exact setup when i first bought this rc. This setup has been extremely reliable and its fast. Just wait till you take it out, its in my opinion, better than the stock reedy combo that coms with the brushless rival mt10.
That's what I was looking for. I'm tired of waiting on the $139 Gorgon to be in stock. These are on sale for $199 for black Friday. I'm gonna grab this and use the electronics I ordered for the Gorgon. The Arrma fan boy in me hates to admit it but I'll probably have a better truck in the end and only a few dollars more.
@Delta Zero Not sure which Max10 combo you are speaking about but if its the 80amp ESC with the 3300kv motor this is basically the same thing. Plus as I mentioned in the video, I got this on sale at the time of purchase. $85 US with shipping.
I'm not listening to you. I don't have a favorite RUclipsr. So I'm going to throw everything I can at this MT10 Brushless I got from Tower Hobbies For 180 bucks
@@ReadySetRCLoL 12s... And for one month , I don't know if it was a mistake or not. The Mojave 6s was selling on par to the US price on Amazon Canada $629 Canadian. So I bought it for a friend, and I get to use it as well 😆. I bought him a version 2 mt-10 last year . I like them so much I got one for myself on that deal from Tower Hobby. I'm going to put it on 3s and the goodies that I'm putting on it it comes out to almost the same price as the V2 😉
@ReadySetRC agreed just wanted to know incase I purchased one for my brother thx he's looking to upgrade his already from Christmas 🎄 😀 thx anyways happy holiday and new year

Definitely looking forward to the servo upgrade video!
@MrGoldmember2 You got a crystal ball😆 Nah but seriously, I'm ok with it
I was thinking of getting the brushed version as I was going to swap out the ESC and motor anyway even if I got the brushless version
@davem4131 Not a bad way to go, especially if you have a system sitting around👍

@markcole6475 same truck only body color, esc, motor and no lights is the difference.

@Memz Mtz Good to know👍
What pinion are you running?
i too went from brushed to brushless when i lost my hair, and if i say so myself, brushless is whole lot better than brushed 😁 .
@Ian john Horwood It's like a brand new truck😊
Yeah, that bald edition is so much smoother
Is the brushed basically the same as the brushless version as far as parts and components go?
@gianenriquez1458 Yup, plus it comes with a 2S lipo.
@@ReadySetRC ok, cool. Thanks for the quick reply!

@WiIdFx 12S here you come😆 Joking aside that was an amazing deal on the MT and SC. I didn't see that deal anywhere else not even at TA.

@randyclifford7350 Unfortunately, I've come to the end of this series. Plus I'm not a speed junky. As long as it's fun is all that matters to me.
