Hi, this is Jessie with Sharp Edges and today I wanted to go over replacing the hinge on your Heiniger Ophal, Saphir, or the Oster Volt.
Come in close...
So, when you get the hinge it'll have the pin sticking straight down like this in order for this to work properly, you have to set these pin springs and if you'll notice a little nib right there, you have to move the spring behind that.
I use my thumb or you can use anything else but... and you'll get it.
You see how that's behind that.
Now, you got to do that on both sides.
Okay?
I'm gonna take this one and push it over so that now it's sticking straight out the back. That has to be done or it will not work properly.
