    I have husqvarna 236 x torq and first i change the pump. Result no oil. Then i chance worm gear and all the houses and also that metal blade. It worked about 4 hours and suddenly no oil again. Cleaned everything but no oil. Everything seems to be ok but it wont work. Next one is try to adjust worm ring and hope the best.

      Was the plastic gear on the pump chewed up? Is the plastic gear on the new pump chewed up? If so, it’s because the metal worm gear on the crank shaft has shifted. You would need to use a long socket big enough to sit over the crank shaft but the same size as the worm gear, then lightly tap it down (closer to the engine) to put it back in position. Doesn’t need much. For some reason they can push outward with use.

      @@SHONEY21Z First pump plastic gear was chewed up but second time when it stopped working pump gear and everything else was all in good shape. Also oil lines was clean. I wondered how close worm gear "spirals" should be together 🤔 i tryed to see that gear your video but hard to tell is it different than mine...

      Idk if the models are exactly the same or not. One thing I would check is if it has oil and if it does, empty it and look at the duckbill check valve inside the oil tank. It’s against the far wall looking into the tank. Make sure it looks to be in good shape and not broke/malformed.

      @@SHONEY21Z oil is ok. Thanks reminding me. I will check duckbill 👍 I also have old jonsered chainsaw. I have owned it 30 years and never had issues with bar oil. It has clutch driven oil pump and also adjustment. That husqvarna crankshaft driven blastic oil pump is kinda new thing to me 😅

      I prefer the stihl system personally. Easy to work on and pretty solid built

    Nice video!!! I have a saw like that. It's oils the chain and bar. But after when at idol it's has a big leak spot. I've changed the pump and plate. Do you know of anything like that?

    • @SHONEY21Z
      @SHONEY21Z  2 месяца назад +1

      Leaking bar oil is common. Some leak more than others. I recommend not storing it for about 24 hours after use because that’s when it will leak the most. I always have a piece of cardboard or ragging my saws because the all leak at least a little. Rather too much oil than not enough.

      @@SHONEY21Z is a leak while running common with the saw. Cause it runs then after about 3 minutes. It starts leaking pretty bad. Just at idol

      @@SHONEY21Z I have an old Homelite 12 that no longer leaks when stored- I turn it so that the bar is upward. (smile) Mike
