This is a good book. Does provide a step by step introduction to how to build things ruclips.net/user/postUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 , also does offer some steps. Includes pictures to give you ideas for layouts and such. If you are looking for a guide, this is not exactly what you want. But if you are trying to familiarize yourself with the way that pole barn building and other out buildings, are made, then this will work just as you need it to. A few things in this book are a barn (of course), detached garage, storage building, and coops.
An inspiring book with lots of ideas for a variety of garden buildings The instructions are detailed and clear with plenty of photos. As a beginner ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBE-xSmFU7PIaMFUmmhnFxE035s5svtxeI was looking for a manual that would walk me through the basics with detailed instructions and this book does just that. The book caters to both the beginner and more experienced DIY enthusiast with builds varying in complexity, from straightforward projects such as the one we've completed, to more ambitious builds. Absolutely on trend, with instructions on how to install solar panels, green roofs and sweet chestnut shakes - It's given me lots of ideas for future projects!
I appreciate how they acknowledge what they would do differently and what wasn’t necessarily executed exactly how they wanted it to be. Reminds everyone that just because you have experience and you are good at what you do, you can always learn from something
I don't like the microwave over the stove- I am 5'2 and I have to pull something out every time to check it because a visual is impossible without a step stool. Step stools are dangerous with boiling hot items! I spilled soup all over my leg once a an air bnb rental using an over the stove microwave. Ruined vacation for everyone and was in the hospital for 3 days... I have some ugly scars. I had a drawer microwave put in when I remodeled my kitchen and am extremely happy with it!
"Every negative comment is hours of therapy" hahaha, awww, you two are awesome and don't deserve negative comments. I love how real you are and as always another stellar reno. Keep it up! :)
WOW, this transformation was amazing AF !!! I am obsessed with the tiles in the master bathroom. Excellent job, you guys just keep getting better and better!
I would have done a floating vanity in the master bath just to give it an illusion of more space. And yeah, the shower became a bit oversized. But overall it was a stunning renovation. I love the color palette.. 👍❤️
To update brick on front of homes you could stain the brick. This home would look fantastic using Heirloom Traditions Gel stains in grey, white and black to update exterior to coordinate with what's done inside. They do fireplaces interior and exterior that have been so awesome. try it on a flip and see a big difference that paint can't make for updating bricks so much designer touch and appeal. just a hint of an idea to do . love the flips you do! Suzanne
Love the timber look kitchen, white kitchens are horrible to keep clean. Matt black and brass seems to be the new kitchen trend here in Australia. Loved all the floor tiles, so pretty.
I would have painted the brick, but I wasn’t the one doing all of the work. 😉 However, my husband and I have a very similar 1961 ranch style, and we did paint ugly, orange brick. I would do it again! One of our bathrooms also had that speckled counter with a metal outline around the sink, it went buh-bye. I love vintage, but that had to go.
Wow this is in my neighborhood! So funny, I just found the channel. I've been watching to see what it sells for. It's unreal how much prices have inflated here. Noticed the list price increased today!
Love the overall style and color palette - and I usually don't like brass/gold fixtures. This place is the perfect balance of refined and livable. Great job!
Kitchen looks amazing, but i would rather have given up the extra storage in the island and had bar stools straight across the front. Especially with that huge pantry. the small space for the stools at the end looks a bit awkward and doesn't seem very practical.
Love the kitchen design and original bathroom tiles!! I do think the left hand living room closet made more sense as the pantry space. I would have moved its door to face the kitchen and made the door a pocket door. It would be closer, more functional, provides more separation and privacy from the public spaces and bedrooms, and the garage storage would have been kept as extra storage space. Overall beautiful transformation and I also loved the shower tiles!
It's so funny when you say the spaces are small. It's quite large to us folks in Bay Area, CA. Love the remodel on this house! Everything is so on trend and beautiful ❤️
1. I wish the kitchen was repainted only + new kitchen appliances installed. You could also keep the mosaic, it was elegant. 2. The floors (the pattern and the colour was incredible and majestic. I would definitely keep it as it was. 3. To my mind, the safe could be a great option of money raising, you could set it in the garage. It was not ordinary thing.
looks great.your right about it begin hard to find ranges right now..been without a oven for 2 months finaly found a place with something in my price range.
Tile in the master bath... pick one or two. The pattern on the floor was good, and whoever laid it did an excellent job. The cement tiles in the shower were a good tie in to the gray in the floor pattern. Then you throw in the tiny honey comb because you got suckered into trying to be hip. More of the gray cement tile or same floor pattern would have served better. Or if you wanted that niche in the shower to pop, you could have used whatever the sink countertop is as a backsplash. You're right about the sink, though. You don't need the double, space for make up is nice, but, yeah, it should have been on the other side.
I bet the closets in the front room housed more gun safes. The hooks in the bedroom, maybe a teen girl hanging scarves? As for the kitchen, those new cabinets are GORGEOUS. They go well with the home specifically because it’s from the 60s, and those are so mid century modern, they’re perfect. That flooring is fabulous also!
for the counter island you could have raised a portion of it then had it extend. maybe a raised piece of glass extending the length of the island idk. lol
It is typical for smaller, starter type homes. When you only have 1500 feet, you don't have much room to waste for an entry. It's my dad's pet peeve when there isn't an entry.
LOVE the kitchen. The cabinetry is so current but I think it’s a look that will become timeless. And I usually prefer painted brick but this house was too lovely to paint. Great job Yall!!!!
I absolutely love this house. It is my favorite one yall have done. My only little comment is the master shower floor. It would look great if tiles on floor where in there and the niche. I would buy this house in a heartbeat.
The master bath has beautiful design and fixtures. It is a little tight…it looked like no matter what there would be a sacrifice somewhere. Probably the easiest fix would be to put in a smaller vanity.
Nice flip- the numbers make sense. Good call on new roof, new windows, and new kitchen- those will make it highly sellable. Re: kitchen layout, I would have gone with a smaller storage island, and a seating peninsula on the dining room side. Also, a pantry next to the refrigerator.
I would absolutely live here and the modern cabinets aren't even necessarily my style, but you guys just did such a good job!!! Especially loved the bathroom collab.
In the master bath I would have switched where the toilet and sink are. They looked beautiful, but it's best to put two square things next to each other so that it looks more spacious instead of blocking the pathway to the toilet
Is there a laundry in this house? Didn't see one. The bathrooms are stunning - great that you used Jorge's design. I wonder what he would have done with the kitchen?
amazing work, y'all are great! I love what y'all do. I personally love exteriors and interiors with a little more color. would love to see some orange, green, blues on exteriors. keep doing what y'all do! thank you for keeping the brick, super cool.
Beautiful job, I agree about the master bathroom being a bit tight, as soon as the shot of the bathroom entrance was shown I thought "damn that looks tight between the shower and vanity". The bathroom looks amazing, just the size is a little off, and a double sink would have been ideal. You were concerned about the kitchen island and I think the little seating area turned out good, and you were concerned about adding the coat closet at the front entrance and that looked great as well, I didn't think it looked awkward due to the direction the door opened. I think this is the episode you both seemed to second guess yourself the most.
I've been following your videos for a while now and it sure is nice to see how your design has evolved and you have become so much better. This house was just about flawless. No therapy needed...
Your design is really great. I hope the future videos can be longer and show more. It's really nice. In terms of opinions, I really hope that you could consider more practicability. For example, the shower and the vanity are so close together that people really easy to hit on the corner.

Am i the only one who never gets tired of this?
WE NEED LONGER VIDEOS 😂😂😂😂
No 🥰
Nope
I'm addicted to their videos! I love the final results... in 3... 2... 1 lol
Nope 🤗
In love the result of this house! It was my pleasure collaborating with you. Thanks again! 🔥
Loved seeing your vision come to life! Thanks Jorge!
Checking out your channel
Loved your designs!!
Love this partnership!
Good ideas, cohesive and did well. Thanks.
THANK YOU for not painting the brick! And yes, the kitchen is lovely. One of my favorites of the renovations I've seen you do.
I appreciate how they acknowledge what they would do differently and what wasn’t necessarily executed exactly how they wanted it to be. Reminds everyone that just because you have experience and you are good at what you do, you can always learn from something
Love the ledge over the stove!! and I love a grown up kitchen with a HOOD (functional) rather than a microwave over your stove.
I don't like the microwave over the stove- I am 5'2 and I have to pull something out every time to check it because a visual is impossible without a step stool. Step stools are dangerous with boiling hot items! I spilled soup all over my leg once a an air bnb rental using an over the stove microwave. There's no way that before situation was up to code 😂😂
My only NEGATIVE is I’ve been watching episodes I’ve watched before, because there no new ones!!! I thoroughly enjoyed!!
"Every negative comment is hours of therapy" hahaha, awww, you two are awesome and don't deserve negative comments. I love how real you are and as always another stellar reno. Keep it up! :)
♥️
I'm so proud of you guys for keeping the red brick. I was scared you wasnt. I love you guys ♡
WOW, this transformation was amazing AF !!! I am obsessed with the tiles in the master bathroom. Excellent job, you guys just keep getting better and better!
Thanks 🙏🏼
Classy AF! Here's something to bring to your therapy session: I can't STAND waiting between videos! So hurry and do your next one.
trying!
I would have done a floating vanity in the master bath just to give it an illusion of more space. And yeah, the shower became a bit oversized. But overall it was a stunning renovation. I love the color palette.. 👍❤️
I love the contrast tile in the shampoo niche in the primary bathroom. It's the little details such as this that leave good impressions on buyers.
OMG That kitchen is my FAVORITE THING EVER😭😭 YALL FREAKIN KILLED THIS! If I wasn’t a poor college student I’d buy this so quick 😭
Thank you!
I love that you work with Jorge Gomez. He is very low key, but great at his work. More people needs to know him
The island is awesome!!! Love the waterfall and hidden stools for seating. Way to go!!
Stunning is the correct word! Move a few walls...add some custom tile and furniture from Article...VIOLA! Masterpiece!
haha yes!
The B&W tiles you kept are the same ones I put in my bathroom in like 2010! Thanks for affirming my past tile choices lol!

This house has so much personality. I love the kitchen and bathrooms. You guys are improving.
I love when a house has those wood toned beams on the ceiling. When did that go out of style ?
It didn't. It's farmhouse/cottage style though so maybe they didn't like it.
Love the timber look kitchen, white kitchens are horrible to keep clean. Matt black and brass seems to be the new kitchen trend here in Australia. Loved all the floor tiles, so pretty.
Wow, I am impressed, this is a beautiful transformation you pulled together
Thanks 😊
@@AustinFlipsters your welcome
It’s like Christmas whenever a new video drops
xoxo
I love Jorge!! Yesss so happy to see you all working together 😍😍
You guys killed it! Great flip. Don't dwell on bathroom space. Not a deal killer! Love it!
Thank you!

That's a very nice looking house! Shocked at the market value. Something like that would be about a third of the cost where I live.
Love the reno. One change i would have made is to place door of master bathroom on the side to extend the bedroom closet
I am glad you kept the brick and bathroom floor. Love the pantry. Job well done🇨🇦
Kitchen looks amazing, but i would rather have given up the extra storage in the island and had bar stools straight across the front. Especially with that huge pantry. the small space for the stools at the end looks a bit awkward and doesn't seem very practical.

Love the remodel on this house! Everything is so on trend and beautiful ❤️
I like the idea of cabinets near/on the sink in any bathroom.
54 seconds😆🤍
glad to be watching another great flip from you !!
😊😊😊
Good job keeping that floor tile -- it looks good!
I'm so impressed with your layout decisions. Turned out so beautiful!!
Living for these notifications. Love your work! Sending awesome vibes all the way from South Africa!
love this!

I really love the kind of mix of modern and 70's in this design. Also, I want to be your friend. Look at all these awesome comments!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
The Spanish and Moroccan tiles r quite oldies in Europe!I mean they were popular 6/7 y ago. And the kitchen looks very European too! I like it.
This is one of your best kitchens if not the best
I love that you don't cut corners.
thanks!
Love the wood toned cabinets in the kitchen!
Love your channel! Came here from Jorge's channel, Casa Refined.
That shower wall concrete tiles look great.
yes! right!?
Well done. That was a challenging one with the awkward layout.
for the counter island you could have raised a portion of it then had it extend. maybe a raised piece of glass extending the length of the island idk. lol
You guys should do some sort of contest with a sponsor where you pick a winner and come renovate one room in there house. I call going first! Haha 😆
Nice transformation. One thing I find typical in the US is, entering the house in the middle of the livingroom.
depends on the house
It is typical for smaller, starter type homes. When you only have 1500 feet, you don't have much room to waste for an entry. It's my dad's pet peeve when there isn't an entry.
LOVE the kitchen. The cabinetry is so current but I think it’s a look that will become timeless. And I usually prefer painted brick but this house was too lovely to paint. Great job Yall!!!!

Omg I am in love! I would love to live in a house like that.❤❤❤❤❤
where i live houses like that arent over 170k.... almost 500,000 is crazy
This house is so beautiful! I’m a little sad for wheelchair users who can’t really use the master bath. Still a very lovely home. Well done!
I'd love to see a renovation done that keeps handicap needs in mind!
So many weeks in between I almost forgot about you two
I like how you list your items which really helps
The master bath has beautiful design and fixtures. It is a little tight…it looked like no matter what there would be a sacrifice somewhere. Probably the easiest fix would be to put in a smaller vanity.
You guys are one of my favorite RUclipsrs! Love when you guys upload 👍 I’ve said it before, you guys are super underrated
Thank you! ♥️

"We are not perfect people, we make mistakes"... we hear you 😂😂😂
i love love that you are helping other creatives!!! wow, i am so impressed! makes me love you guys even more!
♥️♥️♥️ go check out Jorge’s channel
You guys hit it outta the park with this one!
That kitchen is fire
I'm so in love with that kitchen. It turned out so beautiful. 😍😍
Really nice and loved the finishes! Nice that you kept some of the original stuff.
You put craftsman style wainscoting in a mid century modern house.
In the master bath I would have switched where the toilet and sink are. They looked beautiful, but it's best to put two square things next to each other so that it looks more spacious instead of blocking the pathway to the toilet
Thanks for your personal experience but this woodplaning so good..
Is there a laundry in this house? Didn't see one. The bathrooms are stunning - great that you used Jorge's design. I wonder what he would have done with the kitchen?
You guys are hilarious 😂🤣 been a fan for sometime S/O all the way from Jackson,Michigan via Detroit
A troff sink in that main bath would have been dope AF lol
I love this remodel, but I think the Island should have been smaller, as it obstructs the footpath from the hallway, IMHO.
I hope you include next time a tour in the backyard
Finally, I had just subscribed and thought damn I guess they are done. Welcome back and thank you.
Working hard!
Do you sell the houses furnished? Love the video, love the *kitchen*!!!
amazing work, y'all are great! I love what y'all do. I personally love exteriors and interiors with a little more color. would love to see some orange, green, blues on exteriors. keep doing what y'all do! thank you for keeping the brick, super cool.
Wish you guys had weekly vids, they’re all great!!!! I just beg of you to please stop pushing brass into having its moment again hahahaha
you cannot stop the brass
I absolutely love brass and colored metals. I hate the plain stainless steel. It's too cold and lacks personality.
Think this is one of my fav transformation
Yay thank you!

Thank you 😊
Wow! You collaborated with one of my favorite person to watch on RUclips 'Jorge'.
Another awesome reno!
LOVE LOVE the terrazzo tile!!
Thx for saving the brick.
Oh no! The beams!
What do you call this kind of cabinetry that they used in the kitchen? I absolutely love it!
I've been following your videos for a while now and it sure is nice to see how your design has evolved and you have become so much better. This house was just about flawless. No therapy needed...

literally drooling over this house.....it is so beautiful!
I wouldnt painted the beams but overall thats a killing and sharp project. 🤙🏻
Fantastic job! Great design choices!!
hi i'am franny from holland Just subscribed i love the master badroom the most i love it❤

I would have gone with Jorge’s brass faucet here. I am wondering whether you weren’t able to get one and so went with black instead.
