I was just finishing rewiring the entire house myself (replacing the old knob and tube wires) when I met my husband. He was so impressed that I had taken this on myself, that he asked me out, and the rest, as they say, is history. Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration to women everywhere.
The fact that you two were able to accomplish everything you have, with a small budget and kids, is so inspiring. I have watched a lot of different types of shows on RUclips but since I have found your channel a month or so ago, I am totally impressed and blown by Andrea’s skills and Dean’s support. Many men are intimidated by women like Andrea - beautiful, smart, strong but one Skilled woman who can use some serious power tools. You go girl!!! And Dean, Andrea is as lucky to have you as you are to have her. Rare to find supportive men. Love the way you guys work and support each other and have fun while doing the work.
This is the most beautiful apartment. I love the way she goes about her job. But the truth is; without making good investments, no one can ascertain the kind of money required to own such properties. I am retiring next yr at 55 with 3 houses paid off worth 40.5 million. I realized that the secret to making a million is making better investments.
I'm 65 and I wish I had the energy DIY wife has. I'm so impressed with all the work she does. She has great taste also. It is also great that your husband supports you so much. I'm jealous. Both of you keep up the great work.

Hi Andrea and Dean. I have watched your channel since the beginning. I have to say i have watched you evolve and become a beautiful team in endeavor and in marriage and also as a family. I love watching your channel for so many reasons, you guys are quirky and entertaining but you are also light hearted and fun to watch. My hubby was with the military so he was away a lot and the only family had was over 3,000 miles away in the UK my hubby's family live here in Ontario Canada while we lived on the east coast of Canada in Nova Scotia. I had to learn how to do things for myself because there was no one i knew that could help me that live close enough. It is a lot of work, doing things yourself. I have renovated our builder basic home into something i thought would give the house some character, i put in a private patio and built a retaining wall sanded and refinished cabinets and flooring added paint and moldings throughout and i loved how it turned out, we even put new appliances in and sold them with the house. We have lived in our current town house now for 12 years and i have made changes to the curb appeal and the interior spaces i still have some finishing touches here and there and we want to move our final move to the country. I too love to DIY my decorative spaces, i have even built a couple of book cases in our master bedroom, I am now working on downsizing now that we are empty nesters all our kids are out on their own now and the only ones who come stay now are our Grand Daughters so their space is where grandma gets to start over being a kid again. I love how the two of you have such fun making these videos and i am sure the out takes are just as hilarious as the rest of the content. Dean you are helpful in this process and i love the things you do to make sure Andrea is stopping and spending time just chatting as you are eating lunch or supper. You both work very hard and your kids are supper cute. I too have a non handy hubby so you guys resonate with us on so many levels. Power tools are my thing i love using them, My Hubby designed his man cave in the basement and built a bar that we use every Christmas when we gather for our annual Christmas party. it is always such a fun way to catch up on each others lives throughout the year. Keep on doing what your are doing because it works you dont have to change i love watching your channel because you are such a wonderful couple to watch and a lot of fun too. God bless.

Because we’ve moved into a 1982 built home with no updating or renovation, we are facing some rather serious renovation and updating of the kitchens (yes. 2 kitchens) and bathrooms (4) The things that keep us perched on the edge of starting any project are 1. Our newness to DIY and our lack of confidence in our knowledge and ability and how to sort what we should take on and what we should find professionals to take on. 2. How to really realistically budget projects. And 3. How to live in a house that’s almost continually in a state of renovation somewhere. It would be amazing to get videos from you two that really address how to tackle these issues.

Wow! I just discovered your channel. Andrea, you go girl. Would you mind sharing with me who made the wide-planked wood floors in your large family room? We are doing exactly what the two of you are doing...less the recording and sharing with RUclips. After the kids were grown we decided to buy a mid-century ranch fixer-upper, to live in while we slowly renovate. How I wish we could have done the floors first, but we had to decide where our new master bath was going. So now 6 years later we are ready to put in the new flooring. my husband has done everything to our home so far from moving the laundry room from the basement to the first floor, remodeling the 1950 bathroom changing out windows, and a very long french drain. Then he took on a three-year project, he turned the formal living room space into a master bath and walk-in closet. He is now working on the kitchen, which was added to the house in the early 2000s. it just needs to be painted, new hardware, and flooring. This house is part of our retirement nest egg. It has already doubled in value in the last six years. What other investment allows you a place to sleep at night while making you $$! Thanks for sharing your handy work with us.

Power tools are my thing i love using them, My Hubby designed his man cave in the basement and built a bar that we use every Christmas when we gather for our annual Christmas party. it is always such a fun way to catch up on each others lives throughout the year. Keep on doing what your are doing because it works you dont have to change i love watching your channel because you are such a wonderful couple to watch and a lot of fun too. God bless.

Because we’ve moved into a 1982 built home with no updating or renovation, we are facing some rather serious renovation and updating of the kitchens (yes. 2 kitchens) and bathrooms (4)
The things that keep us perched on the edge of starting any project are 1. Our newness to DIY and our lack of confidence in our knowledge and ability and how to sort what we should take on and what we should find professionals to take on. 2. How to really realistically budget projects. And 3. How to live in a house that’s almost continually in a state of renovation somewhere.
It would be amazing to get videos from you two that really address how to tackle these issues.

Wow! I just discovered your channel. Andrea, you go girl. Would you mind sharing with me who made the wide-planked wood floors in your large family room? We are doing exactly what the two of you are doing...less the recording and sharing with RUclips. After the kids were grown we decided to buy a mid-century ranch fixer-upper, to live in while we slowly renovate. How I wish we could have done the floors first, but we had to decide where our new master bath was going. So now 6 years later we are ready to put in the new flooring. my husband has done everything to our home so far from moving the laundry room from the basement to the first floor, remodeling the 1950 bathroom changing out windows, and a very long french drain. Then he took on a three-year project, he turned the formal living room space into a master bath and walk-in closet. He is now working on the kitchen, which was added to the house in the early 2000s. it just needs to be painted, new hardware, and flooring. This house is part of our retirement nest egg. It has already doubled in value in the last six years. What other investment allows you a place to sleep at night while making you $$! Thanks for sharing your handy work with us.
