More than 6 years after my last Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 video I'm proud to present you my newest creation in Planet Coaster. Thank you to all of you who kept subscribed to my channel for so long.
This double launched coaster inspired by HELIX at Liseberg and by MACK launch coasters in general features a fast track layout which clinges closely to a hillside and features 5 inversions. I started this project in May 2017 and finished it earlier this year after 35.000 parts were placed to create a coaster that may not show off with immersive theming, but creates a unique atmosphere with its geometric, modern architectural style and electronic music (just like HELIX). A major feature of the coaster is its large station building and the long queue line inside it with its unique art style. I custom made the onride and queue line soundtrack for this coaster and all of the music in the video.
You can check it all out in detail by downloading the coaster from the Steam Workshop. There are plenty little things and details in the park (a flatride, maintenance shed, ...) which I couldn't show in this video, so downloading the park will be worthwhile! And if you are of the curious type you may find some of the several EASTER EGGS I hid in the park 😉

A few notes about track smoothness:
Back when I started with this ride, the 4m technique to build smooth coasters with Planet Coaster was not a thing. I decided not to conduct a major overhaul of the track due the amount of time it would take and due to the fact that I had already done a lot of terrain work and theming close to the track.

Love the modern design of the building the angles are fantastic, really flows. In regards to the coaster it had an amazing layout. This was an enjoyable video to watch, nice smooth camera work for the cinematic and top notch editing. well done :)

Really well done cinematic experience! I get a sort of "Helix+" type vibe with this. The way it hugs the mountain, but has some of that cool extra theming...I love it!

I have seen many legendary planet coaster creations in my history playing this game and I believe this coaster is the coolest, most well-polished, highest quality I have yet to see. The sound track, smoothing, realism, and creativity blend together to make something so freaking sick. I am inspired and this is on my favorites list!

Sorry I'm late but this is the best planet coaster coaster I've seen. Love the cinimatics and the scenery. My only suggestion would be to re-track it with the in game eurofighter and change the trains, but I read the description. Anyway awesome job, looks stunning.

Looks like something Mack rides would have done if they got to rebuild Helix in this terrain. I really like the modern architecture, and the editing/camera work is just Amazing. I am currently working on something similar because Helix is number 1 to me, but if it wasn’t, this would inspire me a lot. Outstanding!

I just feel it has some repetitive inversion elements, like two immelmanns, two zero-g-rolls and some sort of tight corkscrew zero-g-roll hybrid. also, helix has 7 inversions, i would have liked to see more here, only 5 for such a grandiose layout and scenery.

I live 15 min from helix. But i was going to say that i love this. The supports are fantastic. I would suggest to changing out the trains cuz they dont fit to the theme i think!

I built track rides with the robo-arm for some custom curved/tilted camera flights, or easier, used an Xbox controller with sensitivity on lowest setting for straight camera flights 😉
You can hook up a Xbox controller to a PC?

One thing I hate about Planet Coaster is the smoothness of a coaster never works. Its always so jolty and they need to fix it
