VOLT!: Inspired by HELIX at Liseberg | Coaster Spotlight 524 #PlanetCoaster
This has to be one of the best steel coasters I've seen on Planet Coaster. I'm not a big fan of all the fake themed coasters. That's just me, I think nature does man built structures justice. But seeing one done so well like this makes me wish more people designed this way.
I think people try to build dream rides with a disneyworld or universal studios budget so we lose alot of realistic styles

My Thoughts exactly
I had no idea what Planet Coaster or Channel 5 Gaming was until I saw this video 3 years ago. Thank you Dravarol, Johnny, and the entire Channel5Gaming Community. This channel got me thru a lot of uncertainty during the pandemic. I feel like I’ve watched 1000 videos on this channel since and it continues to peak my interest.
I live in the Netherlands but I went to Sweden for my holliday and went to Liseberg and rode Helix. This rebuild is awesome!! Credits to Dravarol and thanks for showing this in this series!
As someone who's been on Helix at Liseberg multiple times this is basically Helix in an alternate universe. Even the small details of the shop att the start, the game during the queue and the music is spot on. Really well done!
As someone Who has been on helix 100 times it feels like and absolutely love it. This one while still feeling like a bit of a recreation still Holds it own and feels like if helix was another universe almost. Making it quite unique but faithful in a way to what it was inspired by.
That repulsion sign is based on an app called helix were you do mini games and every 15 minutes the player with the highest score wins an express pass
Wow, this is one of the best coasters I've ever seen. In reality, waiting on that long ass queue would actually be worth it because the ride itself is very long and adventurous. I love it!

That rock work is some of the best, if not the best I've ever seen! The ride so smooth as well and the music fits in perfectly. 11/10 from me.
I personally think that this coaster is really similar to Helix. I’ve been to liseberg many times(at least 2 times a year) and helix and valkyria is my favorites

This coaster called Helix is from Liseberg is amazing! Liseberg are in Sweden where I’ve live, and I have been on Liseberg.
Totally agree with Jonny that this is a perfect build. All the detailing, especially the cue line, is most excellent. Gonna guess Dravarol is a musician as well as a highly creative PC ride builder since he says the song is his creation? Kind of reminded me of all the awesome mod music tracks from the 1990s and early 2000s, which I have archived. The only thing I noticed that was off was that the guests were clipping through the walls at the beginning of the cue at 2:44. Need to put some hitbox props behind the walls so that they don't do that. Also, looks like he forgot to delete the collection of props used that are laid out on the terrain.

Tip for the creator. If you want to go for a realistic Mack launch coaster (what helix is) the most realistic option is to use the Barghest track with the invincible trains.

It is a real park in sweden. I have been Three 2 Times.
There wouldn't be any lawsuit. One, the coaster is INSPIRED by Helix. If this were to be built in real life, as long they didn't use the name "Helix" , there wouldn't be a lawsuit.

A lot of roller coasters have double launches lol. If that was the case every coaster manufacturer would be sued. There's a lot of green color scheme coasters also lol. So again, there wouldn't be any lawsuit.

Awesome ride, I can definitely see the Helix inspiration. Not just the ride, but also the theming, the style is very similar. But at the same time the ride manages to feel unique.

I rode the HELIX coaster in 2017. But it almost didn't happen. I had to wait for another train to pick me up. Hear this! I was almost too fat to ride. They had to make me skip line to get on the next train and pick the seat at the very back. I was scared to death that the safety device wouldn't hold, since they nearly couldn't strap me in properly. That is the only time my overweight has nearly killed me. xD
Now there's an incentive to exercise. You could get too fat to ride stuff.

I think the barghest would have been closer to helix irl since torque is based on the premier coasters.

I think you got scenery and theming mixed up there at the beginning. But other than that minor flaw brilliant video, keep it up man! (also it’s Lis-y-burg)
this should be a real thing, not just in a game, contact toverland maybe? in a few years they wanna open a new themed area again. ;)
Also try to keep your lateral g from -1 to 1 as it can be painful otherwise.

Definitely a front row ride, looks a bit shaky on the back
Some of you may disagree but I wish the POV camera on the rollercoaster was shaky. To clarify, when you place a camera on a rollercoaster irl, the camera shakes, now you’re probably wonder why this matters. When the POV cam is way to smooth, it really makes the ride feel boring, even on tall drops. A shaky POV camera would give an intense effect to the coaster, as you fall and drop further, the POV cam shakes more and more... shakes as in vibrates. For those that play planet coaster, you’ll hopefully understand what I’m talking about. For me the coaster feels to smooth and to boring to watch with a perfectly still first person camera which sort of sucks.

I love this creation very much! The coaster and scenery is so realistic. But to be honest Jonny, I don't think this coaster is themed, but overall styled as there is not specific theme here. Nonetheless very nice creation.
In real life the waiting time is usually 30-40
I'd give anything for my game to move like this. I only get 3 FPS...IF I'm lucky...

As much as I like your videos, please start putting the rides on test mode before shooting the POV. Its so infuriating when the guests stick their hands in front of the camera!

What's up with the HANDS in the middle of the screen all the time on the coaster? I have NEVER seen that in my Planet Coaster! Not even once. ...Not a single hand, not two hands....I must be a lucky guy. Looks very annoying

But now that i think about it, they put up both hands when going downhill. On the sides.I forgot that. But the hands are not in the way of the Riding-experience
