"Taron" (incl. Klugheim) showcase - Planet Coaster

- Taron, my favorite coaster and one of the most beautiful coasters in the world. Combine the amazing theming with an amazing coaster and you got one hell of a ride! I started in this creation 10 months ago and it’s finally ready.
After 185 hours of building I’m proud to present my biggest and most complex project ever in Planet Coaster: Taron (Klugheim) recreation
This recreation is on a 1:1 scale, based on Google Earth. Using billboards to get all the positions correct. (Check my tutorial here: • Floor plan tutorial - ... )
After that I used a lot of video’s and more than 500 photo’s a reference material.
Special thanks to all my subs, watchers and comments during the making of series. Without you I wouldn’t have finished this large project.

Notes and issues
• This creation have a lot of DLC, you still can open the park and ride the coasters if you don’t have the DLC.
• Because of the game limitations the height clearance above path and queue is higher than normal. Because of that, the height scaling is not 100% acurate.
• The Taron and Raik exit path’s are also a bit difference because of pathing limitations in the game.
• Mist in the 2nd launch gully isn't visible in the night POV, this is also a game limitation.
•Because of the game's poor banking/smoothing I couldn't get the snappy transition 100% as in real life. (I did my best)

I’ve been playing Planer Coaster for a while now and I just have to say, this is one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. The attention to detail, the realism, the rock work, and all of the buildings are just absolutely stunning. This is beautiful and you absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one!

you could have played with the banking offset a bit more to get snappier transitions but that is very tedious to do. after all this is maybe the best recreation in planet coaster i've seen so far. so incredible i just can say thankyou for making this!

Thanks, I did try and do my best with the banking. But the planco smoothing just doesnt work.. I'm also not that good with coaster building itself
@@Operateur with the banking offset and smoothing you can get a somehow fake heartline in your curves But it's a mess. Anyway i think the coaster and especially the scenery doesnt need it it's perfect the way it is! Looking forward to fly
@@MrMatiashink Yeah, I tried. I think i spend 10+ hours on coaster track and smoothing. But at some point I had to stop :D I'm not so good with the coaster builder anyway I prefer to make it look nice
@@Operateur the best smoothing method I found is using 4 meter track pieces and then start at the beginning and smooth 2 track pieces and then 3 then 4 then 5 and then move the 5 over one track piece and go through the layout then at the end go 5 then 4 then 3 then 2 and then go 3, 4, 5 in the opposite direction, then go through the layout backwards with 5 and then go 5, 4, 3, 2 at the end again. (It's hard to explain) I do that twice and then do the auto complete method and it gets it's super smooth. It takes a long time though.
Dude I have been to this area in real life and honestly I am stunned by your recreation. This is so fucking close to reality that I could not believe the coaster ride was ingame. I legit thought this was taken in real life. Kudos to you, great work
Finally I was able to watch the video. I already said that during your creation phase that this is BY FAR the best recreation of a coaster that I have ever seen in this game. You did an outstanding job there Operateur. This is something far beyond amazing. Well done!

I had the chance to ride this beast for an hour straight in the front seat and this nearly brought me back; I was banging along with the beat before the first launch on the car, this time my desk was the victim :) Great job!

This is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! I don’t understand how you’re this good at this game. This is probably the hardest coaster to recreate and you did it flawlessly! Keep up the great work!
One of my favourite coasters in the world too (despite the fact I normally prefer chain-lift inverting coasters) and You've done a great job on this. The surrounding area is impeccable and must have taken you hours to do. The coaster is almost exactly as smooth as the real thing. Only remote bit of feedback is the banking (and banking abruptness) is slightly off in places but it's a more than incredible recreation so seriously props man!
Thanks a lot! Yes I know about the banking but I was not prepared to put 50 hours in smoothing and banking the coaster with the Planet Coaster smoothing tool. It's just so tedious to get something properly smooth and banked. Hopefully we will get a proper smoothing some day :D Anyway thanks for the feedback

I have ridden Taron at least 50 times by now and I have to say, your recreation must be the most acurate one so far! It's really amazing, thank you so much for recreating it! but yea like a couple of other comments already said, you coud've played around with the banking offset a bit more to make the corves more extreme since thats also kind of one of it's world records. But other than, amazing!
Thank you! Means a lot. And yes the banking could be a lot better. But after spending 10 hours on it I was satisfied. I'm not going to spend 50 hours on smoothing, I think that is to ridiculous. The game should be fixed instead.

Let me just say, I’ve seen a lot in the Planet Coaster forums. A lot of extreme, detailed amazing builds. Hundreds of them likely. And out of all probably 500 blueprints I’ve seen, this is by far the most amazing creation I’ve ever seen in any roller coaster game. Amazing work man. I don’t know how you managed to work for so long on one project

well... wow. Absolutely amazing. I've (sadly) never ridden Taron but seen a lot of pictures and POVs and you've nailed it, the detail is outstanding and well worth the effort you put into this. Just one thing I would probably change is the speed on the second boost which should be a tiny bit slower.
The second boost as 117 km/h as in real life. I would like to keep it.
