Was waiting for 9800x3d. After the disappointing uplift in the non x3d 9000, and the fact 7000 is more stable than it was the first few months, went ahead and got 7800x3d to complete the new build.
I got a 7800X3D and a 7900GRE in a "back to school" deal for $600 (provided I bought the rest of the build from them). My old platform was a i7 8700K, GTX 1060. Games I could barely play before barely spins the fans at 100 fps now. Was a very good time to upgrade! XD
@@Diamonddogusa Pretty much got one of the two for free! In the end I didn't spend less though, just bought more ram and whatnot heh, so the sales-tactic definitely worked.
I decided to drop a 5800x3d in my existing AM4 system. Should be sufficient enough to skip AM5 all together. Then just see what AM5+ brings to the table.
58X3D supply seems to fade, i got one recently. Your thoughts exactly with me also. AM4 will surpass its successor in relevancy because its so popular, and every generational leap made sense. It served us so well, no need for AM5, lets see what the future brings. Zen 6 and RDNA4 will both be mature and powerhouses, since both Zen5 and RDNA3 were testbeds.
@@normative1058 I'm running a 3440x1440 monitor with a RTX 3080. So I am GPU bottlenecked. Figure I have room for one more GPU upgrade when the frame rates start to annoy me. I don't play competitive games that benefit from super high framerates.
Same, just got a 5800X3D the other day for my 5 year old system, and i also plan on skipping AM5. I don't feel good about AM5. It looks like the windows 8/vista of processors if you feel what i mean. The exploding CPUs over at intel don't inspire confidence either. I'm not looking for sand pushed beyond it's limits.
I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking to 7800X3D until the final iteration of AM5 at this point. 9000 series, even if they fix the windows scheduling issues, are just not going to be much of an upgrade, and not being a 90 series GPU buyer it's likely going to stay my GPU that limits me anyways for a couple more years. If I were still on AM4 I'd buy a 5700X3D and some fast RAM.
smart. If you already have it the chip, then the upgrade is essentially pointless. You can easily get a lot of years out of it. 7800x 3D is a great chip.
If you buy a 7800X3D now, you’ll probably regret it in October. Besides the IPC increase, 9800X3D will have boost clocks significantly higher than 7800X3D.
5700x3d might be a great sensible upgrade for you (especially if you find it on sale, i've seen it drop below $200us recently) and would let you keep rocking that am4 system for another couple/few years. should probably pair it with 3200 or 3600mhz/mt memory to get the most out of it, though, so if you don't already have that speed of memory you'd likely be better off just making the full platform swap. if you do already have a decently fast ddr4 kit, pair that x3d cpu with whatever gpu you fancy & enjoy an awesome upgrade without having to build an entirely new rig. remember to do a bios update before you drop a newer cpu in your mobo if you decide to go that route. or just keep the 2700x & 580 if they're still doing what you want them to, of course!
Still hoping the rumors of increased PBO clocks for the x3d chips is true. AMD kept mentioning at CES in January that the x3d chips were special this generation. Let's hope that turns out to be true. In other words, yes I am waiting for the 9800x3d. Edit: GN confirmed in the news today 8/26 - that the 9000x3d chips are special. Definitely waiting.
It should have more of an uplift with vcache as opposed to last gen. Take the pbo's 5% + an extra 5% for better used cache due to cache redesign and you'll get 8-12% in gaming over 7800x3d. Nothing insane.. probably match Intel's new chips.
Nothing wrong with waiting, just don't get overhyped and expect unrealistic gains vs the existing 7000X3D parts. 5-8% uplift on average from the 7800X3D is about where it's going to land most likely. Hey, it will still be one of if not the fastest CPU for gaming for some time, just not as groundbreaking as the previous gen's X3Ds.
When I learned my13700K system is potentially cursed, I decided to build an AM5 system to replace it, thinking it would likely be a 9900X since my Intel system was meant for production tasks. I bought an ASRock B650E Taichi Lite to anchor the new build. But when Zen5 reviews hit the Web, the 9900X and 9950X fell way short of my expectation and did not drive down Zen4 Ryzen 9 prices as I had hoped. So I decided to update the Intel BIOS and keep that system aimed at production, and I'm building a new gaming PC instead. To that end, I bought a 7800X3D.
A lovely start to the morning with a couple of coffees! Cheers guys. Even without being in the market for any upgrade type behaviour it's always a pleasure to spend some time in that helpful frame of mind, putting pretend feelers out to see how the tech and market are all lining up. Matters such as the CPU prices playing leapfrog is one of those things that's both annoying and amusing.. I've been very lucky (and quite restrained) with my CPUs over the life of this my AM4 build, starting with a late 2017 purchase Ryzen 1600 for £156 when it was £229 RRP, and the more recent upgrade to a 5700x only a year and a bit past its launch at £299 RRP, captured for a much more modest £156. All this time I've entertained the same CoolerMaster 212 Black Edition RGB - it continues to amaze me how great systems can still perform really well with pretty modest air coolers.
Just built a new PC and went with the 7800X3D. If you have a microcenter nearby, bundle with them! I bundled mobo, ram, and 7800x3d. And got the cpu for $224. Mobo and ram were same price as Amazon and other retailers so no up charge on those.
The Arctic Liquid Freezer II and III 360mm ARE compatible* with the H6 Flow. I have an LF III 360 in mine. *The radiator is a bit skewed and you can't put in all the screws but it DOES fit. It might depend on one's motherboard too though.
Personally incremental upgrades do just fine for me. If your PC can play games at your desired fps (personally after playing on 120fps for a while, 60fps feels incredibly stuttery and hurts my eyes) and at a pretty enough graphic setting, then there's not much reason to upgrade. I've got a 5800x3d and that's more than powerful enough to handle a 4080 super or even a 4090, so there's not much point for me to upgrade my entire PC just yet. (problem with upgrading a CPU to a new chipset is that you have to replace the MOBO and RAM aswell) A good clean out can extend your PC's lifespan aswell, it's insane how much dust accumulates after even a year of use, and also how much that dust contributes to thermal throttling.
I returned my motherboard and 7800 X3D because I thought there was something wrong with it. It turns out it was okay, but I decided to get my money back and wait for the 9800 X3D and new generation motherboards. I had to go back to my old 9700k. Even though the 9700k has no problem playing any game that's out today, I'm undecided on whether I should wait for the 9800 X3D or get the 7800 X3D. In my situation, the 9800 X3D is going to be an upgrade no matter what, but the 7800 X3D could be the way to go if I wanted to save some money. Depending on how much faster the 9800 X3D is over the 7800 X3D, the decision making is the part I hate about computers haha.
It looks like the poor response to the 9000 series so far is pushing AMD into launching the x3d parts sooner rather than later. At least there are some hints they may come out with the 800 series mobo's next month.
The 9800x3d might benefit a lot more from the smaller TDP and a lot lower power usage, since the X3Ds are always somewhat limited by temperature and power concerns caused by the memory.
I went back to AMD in Sept. 2018, with a 2700x. I upgraded the CPU 3x since then. Now on a 5800X3D on the same board ASRock x470. This will be the first time in my PC building that I will keep the same platform for more than 6yrs, amazing. I could have never done that on Intel, which is another reason I went back to AMD. I think I will keep AM4 until AM6, or until I'm not happy anymore with my current PC 😎
For sure ... love a 7000X3D but if the 9000 is lower Wattage with a bit better performance ... That makes an amazing gaming CPU for me (personally) ...
Got my 7800x3d for 247$ at microcenter in a bundle, 389$ Total came with 32gb ram and a b650 pro msi mobo. If you live near microcenter you need to check there first. I know not everyone has that option but if you do, use it!
Hey Paul, I noticed when you do these you click the X on the individual Items, when you can click the Category name on the left (EG: CPU) and swap most of the items that way with one click.
AMD has previously discussed that they want to push the envelope on what they can do with X3D in general, so I would absolutely wait to see details for 9000 series X3D chips before making a decision if you have the luxury of a delay.
With regards to the 9800X3D question I think you're missing an important point about the 9000 series: yes, you're getting much the same performance but you're getting it at a lower power draw. This means that they run cooler and thus the CPU coolers run quieter.
You do realize they have around the same power draw as the non X skew and dumping more in those(and zen 5) doesnt add much in power right? That argument has felt like cope for a while now
@@Angel7black You're mostly right. I was misremembering from the Ryzen 9700 review - the Ryzen 7900X has a TDP of 170W whereas the Ryzen 9900X has a TDP of 120W - and incorrectly extrapolating that to the rest of the series.
@@QuentinStephens that was essentially their marketing plan, getting people to compare Xs to Xs so they have an efficiency advantage on paper. While there have been IPC improvents for some productivity tasks (and 'ai', but nobody runs an LLM off CPU when the GPU is right there), the non-X 7xxx CPUs are more comparrable for both TDP & pricing in a way that isn't favorable for the 9xxxs.
The other option for multiple monitors if you have displayport is you can get a displayport to multiple hdmi out adapter. I'm currently running one due to needing an extra long cable (15') from my desktop to my monitors and it was easier to go that route than to do multiple cable runs.
Paul and anyone that has a Ryzen 7 5800x, from watching many comparisons between the 5700 X3D and 5800x in gaming, I am confident that the 5700 X3D is a good UPGRADE over the 5800x. It may run slower in clock speed, but it actually gets better FPS in games and uses (a non insignificant amount) less power to boot. I was really surprised at what I saw. For AM4 gaming, it looks like a fantastic CPU to get as long as the price is at that $200-ish price like when it was first shown in this video.
I mean they might stick even more cache on a 9700x3d, and they’ll probably fix some performance issues by then. Personally I’m waiting for it, upgrading from my 13700k.
Just be weary as the 309 dollar price tag for the 7800x3d is from a chinese seller "pan long qu xi yuan bai huo dian" or "Panlong District Theater Department Store" with no real reviews. Be cautious if you go for this chip from that seller
When prices are all over just before a launch it's really nice to live close to a Microcenter. When I built my AM4 rig AM5 and the Intel DDR5 stuff was releasing, I think over a couple weeks and 3 separate trips I returned my CPU, motherboard, and GPU (all still in box) each time leaving with something better and/ or cheaper... You don't have to order everything at the same time is what I'm getting at. Watch for sales.
If you have 4 monitors you can probably connect 1 or 2 of them to the motherboard, if you're only gaming on 1 monitor I think that will not affect performance
I am in this boat as well. I am on a old i9 9900K so practically anything is a upgrade at this point. The recent CPU issues for both sides of the fence have thrown a massive wrench in everything and I am still waiting to see how the next gen of GPUs shake out as well so I suppose I have some time.
Seeing the lack-luster increase of the 9xxx series is what prompted me to finally upgrade me 3900X to a 7950X3D, since microcenter put out some great bundle pricing. I went for the 7950X3D because in 4-5 years when I upgrade my gaming PC I'll upcycle this thing into my home server.
If the 9800X3D is essentially a highly overclockable version of the 7800X3D, with significantly improved power efficiency, it has the potential to become the ultimate gaming CPU.
It will be 5-20% faster depending on the game. Probably 8-10% on average. And it will not be more efficient.. it will require the full power of 7800x3d to achieve this uplift. And yes.. bet ur but it'll be faster.. at least a bit faster.
@@Mr11ESSE111 I bet my wife that you have a blue sticker on your pc. My wife is 55 and the warranty expired last century, I want to replace her but nobody wants her anymore. Like Intel cpus
I'm not convinced the 9800X3D will be much faster than the 7800X3D, if the non-X3D parts are any signal. Very happy with my 7800X3D and plan to skip 9000 series. Works very very well with the 4080/4080S.
I think the very cheap CPU prices are a scam. I once saw the 7600x at $168 on Amazon, bought it twice and my order was cancelled twice. If you look at the seller, the name is sus. Don't know how they rack up thousands of positive reviews.
Yeah the 7800x3d on Amazon was from a third party seller, I would never buy that. The price isn’t fair to compare here, this whole thing is broken. It’s closer to $400
for build #4, you could have suggested him a cheaper AIO as you did for RAM and Nvme, by lowering those costs he could upgrade his GPU. 7800x3d is overkill with 4070S. Ryzen 5 7500F or ryzen 5 7600 is perfect CPU for 4070S.
GPU is the easiest upgrade that can be done later. Spending a bit more on the CPU at the start makes sense as the 5000 series GPUs are next year. Trying to swap the CPU makes you replace so much more of the system typically. I always plan on a later GPU upgrade in an initial system build myself. And resell the older GPU to get a discount on the new one via Jawa or another resale site. Possibly on top of any sale that is on when you buy the upgrade for the optimal results.
No matter what you're trying to do on your PC, when parting out a build please make sure your CPU never is more expensive than your GPU. I'd stick with a 60/40 or higher GPU/CPU cost ratio. Unless you're doing server workloads or 3D modelling that needs lots of RAM, CPU and GPU are the main performers that use most of the budget. For example CPU+ GPU = $1000 spending more than $400 is cutting out better GPU's by spending too much for a CPU you don't need. Ohh, and for PSU fully ignore 80+ ratings and go entirely by cybanetics' ratings. They test the full power range and audio levels for every model and revision. 80+ doesn't even test retail units.
I ordered the $309 7800X3D and the next day got a message that the order was cancelled because the seller's account no longer exists. Sometimes things are just too good to be true.
I don't see the $309 price on Amazon right now, either. It's at $333 with coupon. The seller on his screen at 5:39 is Deluxe Goods at Discount. NO WAY would I buy any CPU on Amazon unless it was sold and shipped by Amazon.
They apparently made improvements the the cache so it might be %10 or better, I’m buying it since I didn’t wait for the 7800x3d and bought the loser 7900x.
I'm in the market for a new PC, 9700k and 2060 can't run CS2 at 540hz lolz. Waiting on 9800x3d and new MOBOs. Even if it's only 10% faster that's worth waiting. Plus I can save up more for a better monitor
I am looking at either the 7800x3d and a 7900 xtx or the 9800x3d depending on how painful it will be to keep running, as it will probably be my last gaming pc. I am 56 and don't do to much FPS stuff anymore. But for context, I am still running an Intel 3770K with twin 1080Ti's and don't play to much that I can't run now, even though some of the newer ones are tough at 1440P. I'll be going full 4k as well so we shall see....
To fix the build 2 even more. Drop the 7700 and take 7600, they are basically the same for gaming. Drop the 6750XT for the 7700XT. Easy 15-20% fps gain for no extra money.
I am actually waiting for 9800X3D because I want to convert my AM5 PC from workstation to gaming rig. I currently have 7950X cooled by NH-D15S + 64 GB 6000 MT/s CL 30 RAM and RX 7900 XTX. As I almost stopped using PC as workstation 7950X is in my case now bad tool for my thing. I originally wanted to buy 7800X3D, but I was discouraged by low boost clock which would reduce performance in older games like Stalker and Garry's mod, which need great single core performance especially when you load heaps of mods. I also did not want to go with 7950X3D as it would be still power glutton in comparison to 7800X3D and I could get into problems with scheduler negating extra benefit of CCD with extra cache. If rumors about unlocked PBO on 9xxx X3D CPUs get confirmed I am certainly going to get 9800X3D and sell 7950X.
Unfortunatly, in Belgium, the price of the 7800x3d is now 450 euro, which is an increase in price since I bought it a year ago now. It was 319 euro when I bought it....
i have a 3060 GPU. my goal is to wait for the RTX 5000 series to release, then I'm going to to a massive PC upgrade, I'm talking new GPU, CPU, RAM, Motherboard, Cooler, Power Supply, PC Case hoping the 9800X3D will be out by that time maybe, as the RTX 5000 series apparently was delayed by 3-4 months so.. got plenty of time lol
Really needed to upgrade core components last year, got the 7950X wanted the 7950X3D but were sold out, still happy with my purchase and now have all the reasons to up grade to a X3D in the near future. My largest CPU utility is 14% which is great and thought that the 16xPCIE GPU was going to handle all the gaming graphics work load anyway so why not, can't wait to see the next few years will yield in AM5 format!
I was waiting on the 9800x3d to upgrade my 5900x. After the questionable launch of the 9000 series, and AMD blaming the poor performance on the reviewers real world test methods, I ordered the 7800x3d, B650E-F, and new DDR5 ram yesterday. We still don't know when a 9800x3d might come out and now I am not confident that it will have significantly better performance than the 7800x3d anyway.
I'll continue waiting to see how the 9800X3D turns out. I'd like to eventually get away from 1080p screens and possibly go for a 4K or even 1440p ultra-wide in the future. Which means eventually getting a more powerful graphics card. But if it ends up being a disappointment I'll just put a 5700X3D into my current system and swap my 5900X into my secondary system as a backup or even a game server.
@@MeepMeep88 Eh, I've got Win11 running on it on a test drive, so maybe longer than expected. :p Been looking at the 9950x though, but as you can tell, I've managed so far with what little I do. @@pyromethious Your gfx is better than mine lol.. 1070gtx, Gen4 ssd nvme but totally useless since my mobo can only handle Gen 3 lolll. 32gb ram too. Does that mean you're using ddr3 ram?
I have a 7800X3D for one year now, but if the 9800X3D gives more than 15% performance improvement I'll buy it. For me the only question is how much performance vs other CPUs in gaming (not the price or the number of cores).
15:22 Surely all of the 4080 super models have at least 4 video outs? Just buy a passive DP -> HDMI cable for the second HDMI monitor if the GPU doesn't have two HDMI outs. At least some Asus and MSI models have an extra HDMI.
In build 2 for that GPU a R5 7600 is more than suficient +100$ for the gpu and you can jump to a RX 7700 XT or even a RX 7800 XT - 60W cpu with an 18$ Thermalright assasin X When you get save some extra $$ for upgrading the CPU, go for a 7800X3D
I'll point out that you can in fact buy a DisplayPort to HDMI Cable and they do work for gaming etc. I know because I have a few of them and use them :) and I am probably going to skip AM5 all together my AMD 5900X may get an upgrade to a 5950X and while my 12700k build supports upgrading all the way to a 14900 I haven't decided on that because of the intel 13th and 14th gen issues
In a year or two, I'll consider - but only if the performance is a LOT higher than my 7800X3D, or if it's super easy to OC. (Not likely, but maybe AMD has improved the thermal functionality of the package.)
It can be installed, just doesn't sit perfectly flush and will depend on the height of your Motherboard VRM heatsinks. But it can be done. I have a 360 with p12 max fans and an ASRock b650e board and it fits (just)
@@woodythefourth Yeah i was looking at the pictures of the case and thought it mite just fit depending on the motherboard. But its always better to buy parts that are within the case specs to avoid any problems. 🙂

Currently running a TUF OG OC 4090 running on a 5800x3d that I've had since launch. I have an ASUS PG27AQN reason for the GPU overkill. It works, but I'm starting to see its age showing and seeing the 40-50fps I'm missing out on in games that I play I'm also limited by my CPU. Just waiting another month so that I can get 9950x3d (I need the cores for productivity because I work from home and game).
I'm in the same boat, wanting to get something newer than my i7-7700K. Would be nice to be able to run 360/PS3 emulators well. What I don't want to deal with is all this chiplet crap and core parking and game bar and, no. just no. 8 cores should be fine. 7800X3D should fine.
If the 7950X3D doesn't go down in price I think I'll be holding out for the 9950X3D. All the dual CCD SKUs are asymmetrical and require this core parking software now anyways. It makes absolutely no sense to get a non-3D V-Cache SKU right now like the 9950X that has all the drawbacks of the dual CCD X3D SKU with none of the benefits. But yeah these Ryzen 7000 prices seem to be going back up now that people realize the 9000 series are not good.
Definitely plan to upgrade my 7900X3D to a 9950X3D....but not until 2 things happen: The drivers/BIOS mature a lot more. The price comes down. Hopefully upgrade my 4080 to a 5090 at the same time. Though my wallet is begging for mercy already on that one, especially because I'm running open loop so need a new block. 🤮 Assuming my current AM4 CPU block will remain compatible.
I like all except for the Gigabyte Elite Ice as it5 is a DOWN Grade from the Elite AX as they went to 6Layer PCB from 8, lower VRM's and a 15 year old Audio Card and want more for it Vs. the old model. 14-2-1 70amp Elite Ax to 12-2-1 60AMP, 8layer PCB to 6layer PCB. They make a nice LOOKING Board BUT THEY MAKE THEM CHEAPER on all the ICE boards for the price.
There's a near 100% chance that the 9800X3D gets a significantly higher TDP than the 9700X and I fully expect AMD to launch it in a good state. AMD just became the king of gaming and although they do some head scratching things, I can't imagine they'd want to give that up anytime soon. I also fully expect a 105w TDP for the 9700X coming very soon that should yield some extra performance.
I'm waiting patiently for the 9800x3d for an upgrade. Oh, you thought I mean I want it in my system? Nooooo, I just want it to drive down the price for the 7800x3d, maybe see if they release a 7700x3d

True, but it might be worth getting for people making new builds.
If you buy a 7800X3D now, you’ll probably regret it in October. Besides the IPC increase, 9800X3D will have boost clocks significantly higher than 7800X3D.
Saaaaame, love my 7800x3d
@@tringuyen7519yah but I don't have a 4090 to take advantage of them anyways and I won't be getting a 5090.
Awesome idea for a series, Paul! Love the channel, and continue to support and promote it whenever I can!
As someone that's still on am4 with a 2700x and a rx580, the sky is the limit for me!!
@@ThrasherEscapes I was actually looking at the 5700x3d as an option. So the next time it's on sale, I'll try and get one. Thank you for the input 🙏
Haha. You'd be disappointed.
@@painkiller-d1v No harm in waiting a month or two though, is there. If it's a dud, oh well. If it's decent, then it was worth the wait.
@@WSS_the_OG If the 9800X3D and 9950X3D underwhelm, I will stick with the 7800X3D, get a 9950X, or the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K.
9xxx performance has been great, just look at comparisons on linux which is not broken.
A USB monitor output seems like a wild suggestion when DisplayPort -> HDMI adapters exist.
So it doesn't fit.
The $309 one was from a third party seller with an algorithmically generated name. Smells of scam to me.
(problem with upgrading a CPU to a new chipset is that you have to replace the MOBO and RAM aswell)
A good clean out can extend your PC's lifespan aswell, it's insane how much dust accumulates after even a year of use, and also how much that dust contributes to thermal throttling.
By the sounds of things you will need to scratch the itch well before AM6.
@@10001000101 might be right, I'll see how things are by this time next year. 🤔😎
I have a 5700x3d paired with a 7900xt so I think I’m good for 4-6 years.
For sure ... love a 7000X3D but if the 9000 is lower Wattage with a bit better performance ... That makes an amazing gaming CPU for me (personally) ...
The 7800X3D uses like 60W while gaming... 9800X3D might be like 5% better but so will the price increase be, if not more.
$229 + free 1T SSD at Newegg, then underwolt it -20 on all cores.
I mean they might stick even more cache on a 9700x3d, and they’ll probably fix some performance issues by then. Personally I’m waiting for it, upgrading from my 13700k.
Looks like the 7600x3d is coming this year so that's interesting ...
For 1080p monitors you could also easily get some Displayport to HDMI cables to allow an all Displayport graphics to drive all monitor natively.
If the 9800X3D is essentially a highly overclockable version of the 7800X3D, with significantly improved power efficiency, it has the potential to become the ultimate gaming CPU.
it wont be anything of that!!it will be shit and fail as normal cpus
It will be 5-20% faster depending on the game. Probably 8-10% on average. And it will not be more efficient.. it will require the full power of 7800x3d to achieve this uplift. And yes.. bet ur but it'll be faster.. at least a bit faster.

Sipping contentedly on my AM4 hot chocolate while I watch the snow fall outside ;)
for build #4, you could have suggested him a cheaper AIO as you did for RAM and Nvme, by lowering those costs he could upgrade his GPU.
For the four monitor one, wouldn’t there also be an option of using a display port to HDMI converter. Might be simpler and cheaper.
They might as well call the 9800x3d the 7800x3d K unlocked.

No Paul your not crazy I've seen that happen, I was looking at something and went to add to cart and the price changed

We still don't know when a 9800x3d might come out and now I am not confident that it will have significantly better performance than the 7800x3d anyway.
I'm still on AM4 with a 5900X. Was thinking of upgrading when the 9800X3D comes out.
Same. I’m guessing it’s only a 3-7% increase. I’m just holding out until the 7800 goes on sale
I would have changed the case before that AIO personally. Theres tons of good white cases, not so much on the AIO side

*Thanks ..... But I will wait fir the Ryzen 15950X6D !*
Me looking for stuff a few weeks later and that 7800x3d is already inflated and impossible to get lol. I hate this industry
lol i am still rocking a 1950x on a rampage 4 BE. with a 2080ti. i have no idea when i will upgrade.
Nice video
Definitely plan to upgrade my 7900X3D to a 9950X3D....but not until 2 things happen:
The drivers/BIOS mature a lot more.
The price comes down.
Hopefully upgrade my 4080 to a 5090 at the same time. Though my wallet is begging for mercy already on that one, especially because I'm running open loop so need a new block. 🤮
Assuming my current AM4 CPU block will remain compatible.
If 9950 X3D will be super cheap, I might consider it. Would have to be sub 500.
Hell nooooo, i keep my 7800x3d
All the am5 cpus went up with around 60 when the "free game bundle" arrived.
'Pan long qu xi yuan bai huo dian' is definitely a scam seller lmao
Where do i post pc builds spec paul or anyone 🤔 i could use some tips from paul and see how my PC stands and see if i need to change some parts or tweak it out
That $219 cpu seller is shady....careful.
People need to learn that an AIO is not worth the price. Modern heat sinks are keeping up and sometimes beating custom water loops for much cheaper and much lower risk.
The rx 7600 is underrated
Yerrp
A RX 6750 XT for 1440p 165Hz gaming? Geeze, crank up the frame gen and turn down the settings. We got us a under powered GPU.
excellent!
