Btw - your instructions do not seem to be relevant to the iPhone SE. Nothing shown in this video looks or acts like the the interface on my iPhone.

Please help! I added the reminders widget to the widget section but it is not interactive the way it is in this video. I cannot check things off or add a new reminder directly from the widget. Any solutions?
Hey thanks for uploading this, this is so useful! I didn’t have a clue how to use the reminders, and of course my widget section is not cluttered anymore 👍
Awesome :) I have everything apple related so this will ensure I keep my life organised between music production, Vlogging, podcast and life in general :)

I enjoyed this and found it helpful. I don't play sound, so use closed captioning and then I have to cut the playback speed down to 50 % because my brain can't understand as fast as you talk. All I'm really trying to do is set up a reminder to take my daily pills morning and night. At 75, I need all the help I can get. Thanks for this.
Even i realised how useful is reminder in Apple. For my water reminder every hour, every thing is going good but how to schedule the reminders like specific time from morning to night.
I really want to thank you for doing this video because it was so helpful. I have needed a reminder app and today I said I’m going to figure it out. This app wouldn’t work properly but your suggestion has made it work and actually remind me of the things that need to be done.
This was helpful though it went way too fast. It was very difficult to follow where you were swiping, when you were in settings, when you weren't, etc. I must have a different iOS version to what is in this video as my Reminders and Widgets don't look anything like this and it was hard to follow and know that I was in the right place. So I have a reminder set for 20 minutes from now. Let's see if I did it right and it works. Love the typewriter, BTW.
Thanks for this vid but at this stage of my technical ability it's too complicated for me. I don't know the meanings of some of the terms (one example: widgets?)
Thanks for posting! I’m not always liking the native apps either. But decided I wanted a catch all kind of list and ultimately chose your video. So glad I did -just set it up and we’ll see how it works. Is there not a way to archive some reminders?
Not sure! I guess me 🤷🏼♂️ Kidding haha. It seems it’s a classic productivity mantra, not sure I could attribute it to a certain someone. James Clear writes about it Atomic Habits - he says to build better ones reduce friction; to break bad ones add friction.
Problem is I can’t set two days for same time you can only set one day for each reminder without giving you the option to select multiple days for a 1 reminder. Now I have class and it’s 2 days a week in the reminder I can choose only 1 day only.
Dear Helen, with all due respect, you probably have the same issue listening to your or someone else’s grandkids. Luckily, unlike in real life, you can slow it down, pause, rewind or even just replay. I hope this finds you well and you are still trying to learn new things on RUclips. There’s so much out there we don’t know and thankfully someone else has made the mistakes for us.
I'm gonna go step by step and try what you said. My problem is, when I set a reminder, unless i specifically set it for a certain day-it doesn't show up on my widget. Then if I set it for a certain day AND a time, it also doesn't show up in my widget. So I've got several things on my list but only the ones that I set for a specific day show up. So annoying.
Dalton Mabery I only have 1 list and it is the default. I know this app is meant to be very simple but like many things from apple, it seems to be so “easy” it’s missing simple key things that make it not work for some people.

You mentioned if you set a reminder three days from now, it will remind you every day at your specified time until that day comes or until you mark it as complete. I have never been able to get it to do that. I set a reminder for a certain day with no time. It will not remind me each day like you mentioned..only on the date the reminder is due at the time I set as my today notification. How do you get it to remind you each day? Also, my reminders widget doesn't give me the option to "add a reminder" like yours does. How do I get that? Thanks! Great video!

I just want a simple to do list. Does Apple calendar allow you to add a list? I don't like that it only allows you to add events. Reminders is still too troublesome to use, so I deleted it.
Alright I tried almost everything I could on Google to fix the issue and nothing worked. I guess I'll just have to be disciplined enough to check at the same time every day. Still love the idea of keeping it minimal to reduce friction.
