James seemed to be persuaded by Dean that JP is guilty without knowing what is the truth so he shouldn´t be his lawyer for sure. Demanding Nancy to tell JP to admit to something that nobody knows anything about is just stupid. It´s obvious that James care more about JP than Ste.

@@punintended7888 Think what? James match better with JP than Ste and they both know it and now when JP is free from George it´s obvious that James wish he was with JP. But now this thought that JP could be guilty could come from his own experiences from the past (Harry, himself). James draw sudden conclusions from a guy (Dean) that says something when there is no proof of anything yet. James is really a bad lawyer so he may say no to JP because he knows he is bad and gets emotional. I don´t think he cares about Ste as much as he cares about JP. Anyway there are different ways of interpret what is happening in the scenes. Take care.

Hated that JP had to cheat as a part of his exit story. James did not deserve that, because he went out of his comfort zone time and time to make it work with JP. Now we could see JP asking James to help him to get home, whatever that means. I don´t really see a future between James and Ste, I´m afraid. I don´t think Ste match with JP either. And I don´t think that Ste matched with Brendan either, which is an unpopular opinion. They were so different as people. Maybe it could have worked with Doug in the long run.
Now I do think it is the Cher McQueen. The photoshop brought the Cher some attention which she craves, and was easily debunked as a fake. Who would also have the means to create a photoshop, just like making her own trolls.

james was dead set on getting john paul out because he really cares for him, but dean made him doubt everything. he’s too involved in the case, it’s too personal for him to deal with. i’m mad at him for wanting jp to plead guilty, but i understand why he’s doubting john paul’s innocence.

It's the same as the US. The burden of proof is on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt
