Police in Hollyoaks are literally the worst. Remember Charlie confessed but they have that knife which would have had two sets of fingerprints. if they had tested the knife they would have known straight away that someone else could have been responsible but nope :D
@@Dumdumblonde The Detective On Emmerdale when I think Daz's Daughter Ran Away was brilliant. Also The Father/Son Team of The Bakers were also Brilliant on The Bold & The Beautiful. John Paul can't seem to have a proper relationship with any man.

Are you serious?? Are you actually serious?? She was there when Jp told them what George has been up to, she saw how less than thrilled the rest of the McQueens were. Mercy even said in front of her that she would confront George, did Cher suffer amnesia since then?? I can''t decide if she is stupid or if it's shitty writing but that might have been the single most idiotic phrase ever spoken on the show.

Judging from the first scene, I can immediately rule out james and cher. James doesn't do violence. Blackmail and empty threats is more his style. I don't even understand why cher is on the suspect list and not sylver. She barely knows john paul compared to everyone else. My guess is it was sally or dean.

That police officer with the attitude when asking for a statement, needs to simmer down, imagine finding out someone has died, regardless if he was a police officer or not . (I know it’s not real, but could you imagine if it was) it’d tell her to get out haha 2:30 .
It’s actually scary because this does really happen in real life, that blue wall is serious....

I know I was vocal about wanting it over, but seriously? What does anyone learn from this?
Dude was a cop; he could’ve been put through sensitivity training, anger-management, & all types of therapy. We could’ve had like six months worth of content of a redemption arc for him working to better himself, and maybe even earning JP back one day.
*Even considering how the COVID pandemic hindered everything, this was so rushed it’s not even funny. Who even was P.C. Kiss? More importantly: WHY WAS HE SO TOXIC?! Where’s the meat in the sandwich of this storyline?
Also, let’s be real, Callum is freaking gorgeous. Wasted opportunity for a good actor with good looks.
Final thoughts on Hollyoaks’ writing here: Tasteless, baseless, & empty.
I thought George’s storyline would last longer ..but he really was a bastard and poor John Paul is left holding the bag😟!
This is all too quick. What an abhorrent ending to the storyline and not to mention, a wasted opportunity for George to face the consequences.

I think it is Sally, after she found out about the abuse and hugged him and was like regretting not being there in the past to protect him and was saying "I would never let anyone hurt you again", plus she wouldn't be an expected reveal.

I just realized, the opening clip of all 9 people confronting George is almost the exact same of what happened with Tom Kings murder on Emmerdale. Callum Kerr probably had to film that scene 9 different times.
When they were walking up to him, it sounded like they were wearing heals. I could be wrong but if there is a possibility that it was heals that would rule out James, obviously John Paul, and sally

I think Dean came to the village and was watching them or over heard something about George being abusive then killed george if not then Sally anyone else would be too boring.
I agree, I think it’s Dean, only because he’s not in the opening credits, unless they want a fan favourite to be guilty and they’ve already stopped filming but is keeping it under wraps.

So, he was extremely violent and he just got killed without really facing the consequences of his actions. alright then.
I swear this is so unrealistic. Firstly, theres no evidence to actually say it was him, so what there’s a witness? He also has a witness to say he wasn’t there. Secondly, I’m sure I read it somewhere that when a police officer dies, their friends or anyone they had a close relation to will either be suspended for a short time or not even let on the case. Thirdly, she wants it to be John Paul so bad, it’s almost as though she’s the guilt party here.

How could the lethal thump have been inflicted to the back of the head, when George both saw his killer arrive, and responded so hostile it is doubtful he would have turned his back at that person? The fact the thump was inflicted to the back of George`s head suggest he was killed by someone he felt he could trust enough to turn their back at them. That excludes every single one of the lined up suspects. Leaving George`s police partner as the most likely suspect.

The question is now: who is the reliable witness that gave the statement? My guess is either Dean or Theresa. Dean would make the most sense as he lives in the car park in a tent so he would have seen what happened.

Dammit, I've watched three clips, and I'm now back in to Hollyoaks after about 15 years.
BRAVA TO ARIANA FRAVAL ("DS Cohen" ) !! And, BRAVO TO JAMES SUTTON ("John Paul McQueen") !! Their actors' timing, exchange, delivery, and symmetry of dialogue should be studied within the best of acting schools. One can hope that their scene will be shown to the "powers that be"; come awards-nomination season!!

I was hoping that after JP realised that he was being manipulated by George he would turn the table on him and lead George to his demise. I know it sounds evil to manipulate your manipulator but if you're gonna turn a good character into a bad one, the lamest plot is to make him a murderer.

I think it could be Cher, purely for the fact that I saw another comment on another Hollyoaks video where they'd theorised that Cher was the one to kill her sister and that's why she came to Hollyoaks in the first place, she's manipulative enough to do it.

Honestly I really have no idea who it could be. TBH they all have a motive in some way it's just a matter of who is really capable of it. I am intrigued though and have been watching everyone a lot more closely in the last few days :D
I honestly think that it was Dean who killed George or is he even dead bc we all though sid was dead but actually he was under police protection but if George is dead it would have probobly been Dean bc he was rejected a couple of times by George bc he was with John Paul
