Even though Harry confessed I still think there is more to this. Amy was alive when Harry left and she could have died in the few minutes he was gone. But I don't think it was as simple as that. I think someone else came in behind Harry and killed Amy. Even if Ste is found not guilty, Harry will go on seeing himself as a killer and that thought can and will do major damage to himself and to him and Ste as a couple. Ste may never look at Harry the same again because he will see Harry as the one who killed his kid's mom and his best friend. Plus, Ste believes he drives people to doing damage to themselves. Ste told Harry that he and Amy were alike in the way they constantly make excuses for him and take him back no matter how bad he treats them - and he is right. Even Tony said when he learned about their relationship that Ste, as much as he loves him, was a train wreck because of all of his problems. So with that said, no matter how this turns out - Ste is found innocent or guilty - Ste and Harry may be over forever.
zanthus7 excellent comment. I completely agree with it all. But as much as I'd love someone else to have finished Amy off after Harry left, I doubt we'll get that lucky. Ste will do everything he can to save Harry's future because he knows he's largely responsible for Harry's actions that resulted in Amy's death. But if both of them get their freedom, Ste will break up with Harry to give him a chance at a normal life. And I can't see any possible way they could play happy families if Harry killed the mother of Leah and Lucas. The kids could not forgive that, and Ste wouldn't be able to move past that either. Unless there's some dramatic twist, Starry are done. Hopefully they will keep Harry on the show a while longer as I'd like to see more from him as a character.

Thank you for the upload. As far as the episode is concerned, I am not at all impressed. The lead investigator on the case is launched as a possible murder suspect IN THE SAME CASE AS HE HAS BEEN THE LEAD INVESTIGATOR FOR. Had this been real life the Home Secretary would have had to give his/her resignation. And the prosecutor would have had no other choice than to drop all the charges against Ste. If she hadn`t, the judge would have been forced to declare a mistrial. Since Armstrong being the lead investigator, would mean he would have had knowledge of, or been directly involved in, all the evidence against Ste. With Armstrong now being discovered to possibly have been more involved in Amy`s death, than previously thought, all evidence which had come before his eyes would have been tainted, and therefore inadmissible in court. So James` cross of Armstrong would have been the end of the trial - but just the beginning of the scandal. But talking of inadmissible in court, how come those photos Armstrong had taken of Amy came to be in evidence? Since Milo had "discovered" them by hacking into Armstrong`s personal computer, he couldn`t very well admit as much. So how could James prove Armstrong had been on the other end of the camera when those photos were snapped? The photos in themselves don`t prove who has taken them. It is just a load of rubbish! I can`t remember having seen a more badly put together "court" room drama ever! Gregory Finnegan shines - but the lines they made him say, and the pathetic argument they made him present - so didn`t! This was so weird?! Both the lead investigator and the defense attorney were exposed to have possible connections to the case - and yet the trial proceeds. No, they have screwed this story line up royally! Making Harry the killer was a solution with little foundation in logic - taking into account Armstrong`s behavior and actions - and therefore never should have survived even the first reading. Had Armstrong been made the killer, and not the scapegoat, the story line could have made sense. But since James opportunity to serve him up as an alternative suspect, forced him to do so much he, as a police detective, never would have done - unless he wanted to sabotage the case, rather than find the real killer, it all just crumbled.

So here comes James, wooing Harry. See he may not have his original plan (sending Ste to prison) worked, at least he will (possibly) Harry as his lover, he ruined Ste's life by breaking his heart AND taking his love away, he will also have Harry, his "love". Hollyoaks has always been bad with storylines in the long run; at first it's good but they always let too much time go by (but, well, it's soap opera so that's not new) and in the the end you just want everything to be over and forget about it. It's nothing new, so I'm willing to give it a try after this storyline ends, but it has been so long already, I wanted it to be over since Amy came back in the village lol (love Amy, but the Amy/Ryan stuff was horrible imo). The only thing that would make me stop watching is if Ste is separated from his children, The best Ste is daddy ste. So if they go, honestly i'll not care anymore; even if Harry and Ste have a good storyline. In soap they always find a pretext as to why we don't see the children. The actress who plays Leah is really good so i'm hoping they will keep them.
Harry should be going down because his actions, accidental or otherwise, resulted in the death of another human being. Regardless of what kind of life he (Harry) has led to this point, regardless of what may lie ahead for him, he committed a crime against society when he killed Amy. How can anyone, Ste, James, Tony or Harry himself say he is more deserving to live than Amy? Harry needs to pay for what he did, not Ste. As Ste said the worst part was Harry was able to carry on his life like nothing ever happened while Ste was punished by being locked up in prison. Harry killed Ste's best friend, the mother of his children then left her on the floor to die like some kind of animal. Harry, you committed a crime against society (which includes me) when you destroyed another's life and you should take responsibility for what you did and not let Ste, no matter what kind of life he has led no matter what he may have done to Amy in the past, go down for something he didn't do. You'll notice I wrote "should." In true Hollyoaks fashion, that may not be what actually happens. You will recall Brendan committed two murders and suffered no consequences whatsoever.
