yo i just wanted to take the time to appreciate the immense amount of support that has absolutely come out of nowhere. this video blew up around 2 weeks ago and seeing all the positivity really motivates me to keep on going forward with music as my career!
Also, If any of you are into the new wave of hardcore punk that is taking over, my most recent post was a vocal cover of “cries of pleasure, heavenly pain” by Gulch. It hasn’t been getting much love so i’d appreciate any form of exposure/support for it. here’s the link for whoever’s interested : ruclips.net/video/IekVxZNCB0I/видео.html
Also, im JUST SAYING, but i went hard as shit; you wouldn’t want to miss it ;)

@@viewycuquito4203 Dude that down picking was on point. 30 years ago I was your age (give or take) and banging out the same song. Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets was all day every day. I can tell by your guitar playing that you know the Metallica style and technique inside and out. Seriously great job, keep it up.

@@Filthy-Felon hell yeah dude, i’ve expanded my music taste a lot since this video was posted but at this time all i would play/practice to were all of those albums you named and the occasional iron maiden track haha. It would be an understatement to say that i was obsessed with metallica.
Thank you for the encouragement and im glad you liked it 🖤 !

@@viewycuquito4203 If you still enjoy playing metal, please tell me you're familiar with Pantera?! The slim chance you aren't you need to listen to 'Cowboys From Hell' the song and album, 'Vulgar Display of Power' and 'Far Beyond Driven'.
Honorable mention - If you like Blues, check out Stevie Ray Vaughan, loads of him on RUclips improvising. You can pick up a lot just watching him play.
Keep expanding the tastes, learning new styles will make your guitar playing even better.
I feel like dusting off the 30 year old Ibanez, the 30 year old Peavey Bandit 112 and making my neighbors either love me or hate me!!
Thanks again for the video, good shit, good memories.

It takes huge cojones to get up on stage all alone & do this - there's a little bit of "fudge" in the performance but he commits to it - it's an aggressive, driving song that demands a confident and aggressive performance. This kid delivered with power and that's the most important thing. His screams got chuckles from the adults because they don't appreciate how musical that can be if done correctly in a metal context. This kid has got "it" when it comes to being a front-man in a metal band. never stop kiddo, you can do great things if you go about it the right way. That energetic & confident vibe of yours is key, never lose it.

Haha thank you so much! My vocals have gotten WAY better since then and chuck is the singer that everyone compares me to. My harsh vocals were heavily inspired by him as Death was the first band i genuinely liked with extreme vocals. If it weren’t for him i wouldn’t be where im at right now. I owe it to him!
