Quackity’s character timeline is one of the saddest in my opinion. When you look at the start, yes, he may be selfish but he isn’t actively trying to cause harm. He used to seek validation and love. That’s one of the reasons he ran against Wilbur and joined his votes with Schlatt’s. That’s why he has been in several relationships, all of which he has broken off from. He’s lonely and upset, he may be laughing at times but that’s just to cover up his real emotions. Humans don’t usually tend to like causing harm. I believe the same for Quackity. I also think he’s in that kind of phase where he has lost everything he had ever hold dear, Karl, Sapnap, most of his friends and so many other things. So, what else is there to lose? Quackity has a tragic character. He sought validation and love. But almost everyone in his life manipulated him, hurt him, or left him behind. He has lost everything, now he used that bottled-up pain and anger to manipulate and hurt other people. Just like how some people once did to him. Thank you for reading my essay XD

I really like that last frame, since I feel like Quackity is kinda glad that Wilbur's back. It gives him a sense of peaceful nostalgia, him and Wilbur being rivals again like the old times. Quackity has lost so much and everyone has changed, so Wilbur returning and still having that competitive spirit gives Quackity a sense of normality. It makes him think of the times when things were simpler, before Schlatt, before Karl and Sapnap. Just him and Wilbur having friendly competition.
