Slimecicle is so well written from what is initially a goofy sidekick to Quackity. He's exactly what would happen if something so pure and innocent got taken into this world. An immortal being, who didn't understand why the people did what they did. So he played along, became a blank slate, to understand humanity better, and he finally learnt all about it..... Quackity reaped what he had sowed in Charlie. Beautifully written and an amazing end to the Last Nevadas arc. Technoblade would've been proud.

Okay, sorry, but Imma start rambling about the finale, because I just love the fact that it humanizes everybody. For starters, Charlie said that it was the same human that ruined both their lives, and we can tell that the human he was talking about was Quackity himself, who had let himself been driven by greed and power-hunger so many times that it was himself who was making it complicated to live a good life that he could actually enjoy. Also, after he pushes Purpled off the building and does his speech, it's safe to say that Quackity actually helped him to become an actual human just like he had wanted from the start, because that was Charlie making his own decisions and putting Quackity's lessons not only on use, but also giving them his own interpretation. And also, while he's speaking and numbering the lessons, is it only me or is there the subtlest hint of childish smug behavior in his voice? Like, the last time he's talking to his "father" he knows he's going to do something terrible, but he's also proud of himself for learning so much and is showing that to Quackity, who doesn't end up hating him because he also learned something from Charlie's words. I also like to imagine that Charlie wasn't actually mad, but was giving the person he trusted a retrospective of what he discovered and, again, showing his parental figure, the one that took him in and taught him (which he could be both eternally grateful and resentful for) how much he's learned and how proud of his own achievements he is, and hopes that Quackity feels the same (which he in a way does). It also humanizes Quackity So the festival's death wasn't canon and he only has one life left. And how does he plan on living that life? He's ready to actually let go of the past. Past grudges, past conflicts, past hurt. He wants to actually enjoy the legacy he's created. What people are going to remember him for, and he wants to be remembered, not as a bad person, but as a good one (he wants to leave behind a good legacy, in general). It's actually quite beautiful. The moment he falls, at first the espectator would think that Quackity feels betrayed, and maybe he does, but it actually seems to be more of a rebirth than anything. Once he has only one life left, he feels free and as if a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. He will, from now on, live for himself. Las Nevadas is his, not a gift for the fiancés that left him, and he will do things right now. It would also explain why he ended up in another universe after his life in the Dream SMP (there is a hispanic server called Karmaland where specifically dead HEROES from other universes were dragged there to protect a new universe, and Quackity (the Dream SMP one, is canon) is one of the chosen heroes). This would imply that Quackity lived his last life as a good person. Enough to be considered a hero, not by people, but by the gods of Karmaland. And the fact that it was Charlie, Quackity's "son" who made him realize and learn so much about himself gives me a feeling of "Quackity went from being the victim to be the abuser, and now is reedeming himself of all the bad he's caused along the way". Also, Charlie left, in case it wasn't clear. He left to probably never be seen again, which means that he, now as a full on human (mentaly, obviously) has now started his journey and adventure on his own. He's now a person. He now understands. He can live now. As I said before, everybody gets humanized with this finale (yes, even Dream), but if I talk about them I'll never finish this so, for now, I leave you with this.
I feel like Charlie also killed Quackity, leaving him on one life, for the sake of giving him that sense of urgency. Everyone on one life treasures it considerably and makes choices based on the things they care about most, because those are the things they are most willing to die for. Technoblade, Philza, and even Ranboo are testaments to that. Philza who treasures people to the point where he'd destroy the government that destroyed his son and hide his only ally. Ranboo, who picks people over sides. Technoblade who has everything to lose while standing at the top, destroying governments like a force of nature because of his beliefs and risking everything because of the favours he owes and the people he cares about. Heck, even Dream, who cares most about power, was willing to risk everything to keep the revive book and get control of Tommy and anyone he could get his grubby mits on. Tubbo even eventually settles down in isolation after losing everything he risked his life for and only really openly involved himself in conflict after Doomsday when it came to his son. Those that have only one life treasure things more and are less likely to use people for their own gain. I feel like Slime wants to see Quackity using his last life to make amends with his fiances- the people he should be caring about- and making himself a better person, in the same way that Wilbur, after returning to life, wanted to try to apologise to people and be better than the person who selfishly destroyed L'Manburg and his relationships.
I equate Quackity to a Batman villain. Yeah, he did bad things... really really bad things. But he became this way from all the wrongs that were done to him. I believe though, that deep down inside, Quackity is a good person. I can't wait to see what path he takes after this.
Holy shit, how have I only seen this masterpiece now?!? This animatic is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every aspect! Also I love hearing Charlie Slimecicle monologuing, always the best and juicest of lore
I keep coming back to watch this. It's all just so good! The music choice is fantastic paired with the dialog and expressions! The flashbacks. This may be one of my favorite dsmp animatics.
Slime is honestly such a cool character. But in the end, he didn’t think about the one thing he himself said. Revenge just keeps going and going. Is it ever worth it? And he forgot about what Quackity said. “No”
Honestly it's my one favorite lore thing. Slimcicle tells Quackity that he was terrible person and manipulator. And Quackity was thinking during Slimcicle's speech and falling and was regretting for his actions. I like expressions.
No one likes to be told their wrong, especially by someone they trust. But sometimes the only way to change is for someone close to you to slap you awake
This is beautiful in so many ways, a cinematic masterpiece. The visuals, not only the movement of the characters but also how the screen pans out is so chilling. The different colors throughout the video. Just so much about this is so amazing.
I feel like not enough people acknowledge how good Charlie is at line delivery. The Dream SMP, Generation Loss, even his hundred days in a zombie apocalypse video. It's chilling. I mean, come on. Listen to this and honestly tell me that no one from the Dream SMP is an incredible voice actor, and then look at Gen Loss and tell me they aren't incredible actors in general. And i haven't even started on the art omfg it's- i have no words. As an artist myself, this is so, so amazing as a whole and just- ack this is so good
Oh gosh- the way it switches between Slime holds Quackity by the collar (and their expressions make it so devastating) and the lessons (with the background switching to how that ‘lesson’ was applied, for better or for worse),, then the voiceover as Quackity falls ;(((( lovely art
I love all the subtleties in the art that draw back to elements of the lore, like the hearts, why quackity made certain lessons, and how he failed some lessons, and I love in general the very good artwork done here especially in the amount of time.
This was so beautifully made, the audio, the way Quackity instead just suddenly pushed off but instead held up and led over, their expressions, Quackity not struggling as he genuinely ponders Charlie's words, Charlie being bittersweet with his goodbye at the end because deep down I think he does still care about Q but morally he's not a good person and like Charlie said, he (and others in the server) just saw someone they could mould and would do as told. Just *chefs kiss*
Amazing animatic! I wanna tell everyone in this comments section the “I’ve seen empires rise & fall” line is from Slimecicle’s Natural Disasters video, which is part of the SCU, and him repeating that line here may as well make DSMP canon to SCU. Happy fun fact, keep up the good artwork!
i have seen so much.... i have seen empires rise and fall.... and their strongest people fall with them... i see the weak that are left.... fight for scraps.... that part stuck with me...
Not yet, Quackity from Las Nevadas. I have seen so much. I've seen empires rise and fall, and their strongest people fall with them, and I've seen the weak that are left fight for scraps. But I never understood why, until you taught me, until you took me in. Lesson 1. Humans are assholes. You told me that, Quackity from Las Nevadas. But more importantly, you showed me that, when you saw me, something malleable, and all of you made me into the worst parts of each. Lesson 2. Politics are the way to power. Use the conflicts and the beliefs of people to rally them. And you did. You rallied everyone here, didn't you? Lesson 3. Create no emotional attachments. But you didn't follow that lesson, Quackity, and I didn't either. Maybe that's why we're here. But there are more! Lesson 4. Everything gets destroyed. Lesson 5. Trust nobody. Lesson 6. Hold your ground against authority. And lesson 7, Quackity from Las Nevadas? Seek successful revenge, because if you fail, the consequences will be bitter. I will not fail. Because Quackity from Las Nevadas, we have one thing in common, through everything we've been through. The same human ruined our lives. Because you are not a good person. It's like you said with lesson 8, Quackity. Legacy is all you leave behind in this world. I hope you leave behind a good one.
This is why I love the Dream SMP, the stories an haphazard mess born of creativity and experimentation, but out of that mess came moments of incredible story driven beauty. And the fact its so loveably messy gives so much lee way to its fans, its like a literary sand box.
this is one of my favorite DSMP animatics, it feels like such a perfect ending. that's partly thanks to the smooth animation movements but mostly thanks to the great choice of music

Emotional. Great animation. Key to a successful video. Good job!
Damn, Slime-boi gets scary when he's serious.
I kid you not i got goosebumps at the end, the detailing is *chefs kiss*
PLZ THIS NEEDS MORE VIEWS!!!
OH MY GOD MY EYES, I CANT SEE THE BEAUTOFUL ABIMATION ANYMORE, ITS JUST BLURRY AND WET UEUEUE /POS
DUDE THIS ANIMATION IS SO COOL
This is one of the best animatic I've ever seen well done!
THIS IS SO COOL WTH
THE EMOTIONS, THE WAY THEYRE DRAWN, AND THE FACT THAT YOU DREW SLIME HOLDING HIM OFF THE EDGE
I love how this whole monologue is not something that quackity expected
I’m glad I found this. Every bit of this animatic was worth it
This almost made me cry of how emotional it was 💀
i have seen so much.... i have seen empires rise and fall.... and their strongest people fall with them... i see the weak that are left.... fight for scraps....
that part stuck with me...
... So apparently I missed a stream.
Absolutely fantastic, loved the style and the movement and pacing were really well done!
HOW IS THIS SO UNDERRATED
ITS SO GOOD!!
Amazing job it’s crazy how you did this in only 20 hours(I know I’m two years late but bear with me)
i love big Q so much and his final stream made me cry
This is criminally underrated I'm literally crying
I don’t even watch the dream smp thing, nor do I know who any of these characters are, but this is absolutely amazing.
I love this soo much, the music and the timing, the 3 hearts at the end were a really nice touch, just love it
Dude this is awesome! I love ur use of pan and zoom
Yooo this looks amazing, you deserve more mate
This is why I love the Dream SMP, the stories an haphazard mess born of creativity and experimentation, but out of that mess came moments of incredible story driven beauty. And the fact its so loveably messy gives so much lee way to its fans, its like a literary sand box.
this is one of my favorite DSMP animatics, it feels like such a perfect ending. that's partly thanks to the smooth animation movements but mostly thanks to the great choice of music
WAIT ALL THIS TIME I THOUGHT QUACKITY WAS ON HIS LAST LIFE- TURNS OUT HE WAS ON HIS SECOND WHAT SHSHSHSH
Incredible animation. His speech was amazing.
I saw this live!!!! AND THIS IS THE PERFECT REPRESENTATION OF THE STREAM POG CHAMO ON THIS ONE
This is indeed the best animation I have seen today prove me wrong.
I love how the hearts at the end looked like how he died each time
I don’t watch the SMP anymore, but it’s still a part of what has made me happy. This really brought that feeling back, thank you.
I'm obsessed with this ngl. This is such a good monologue and you've animated it so well.
THIS IS AMAZING. I really can’t. I love this.
also the detail of their pupils being squares in minecraft is my absolute favorite
First person to point it out! 🥰
@@minutapita thanks for making such good detailed art! have a nice day!!
But the framing tho? The angles? All of it is so good
YOURE SO UNDERRATED. THIS HURT MY SOUL.
YOOOO HOLY CRAP THIS IS SO GOOD THE PERSPECTIVES AND BACKGROUNDS AND CHARACTER DESIGNS EIWJWIJRJWJWJERJEJ
WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT IS THIS RECENT?!?!
OMG I TAKE ONE DAY OFF!!!!
JUST ONE!!!!!!!
I- UNBELIEVABLE!!! ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE I CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED THIS!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL ANIMATION BTW IT'S SO GOOD I'M IN LOVE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dang. I haven't even watched the series, and this hit so hard. That's talent.
The way the text is part of the scene rather than just a subtitle is just *chef's kiss*
THIS IS DOWNRIGHT AMAZING OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE YOUR ART STYLE AND THE USE OF COLOUR THROUGHOUT IT IM SPEECHLESSSSS OH MY GOODNESSSSSSSSSSSS
Thank you! thank you! THANK YOU! Ever since the stream an animation was ALL I was waiting for and you did so well. 😭

Bro this is just beautiful💗
Legit the symbolisms with the hearts at the end-I can’t this is a whole masterpiece
Woah, the art and transitions are so good here! I love how you showed the expressions and summaries
Yes, I still want to hug myself in my bed when I see this moment. If only slime just got on the sand and didn't melt. GIVE US OUR EMOTIONAL SUPPORT SLIME BACK
I love your way of showing the emotions through the animation and let me tell you this made me cry again. I also love how you show how Quackity lost his two canon lives from Techno and from Slime. You did such a good job. Great animation 👏👏
THIS IS SO GOOD OMG
THE ARTSTYLE, THE EDITING STYLE IN GENERAL, IT’S ALL AMAZING!!!
This is exactly how I imagined this scene playing out. Incredible work
I am absolutely blown away, this is amazing. The composition is amazing and everything flows so well. Honestly there are no words, I love it
I’m sorry but this is my FAVORITE DSMP animatic ever!!!
This was actually so cool what. The animation is amazing and I love how you designed the characters and their expressions
"i have seen so much
i have seen empires rise and fall

and i see that the weak that are left fight for scraps
but i never understood why
until you taught me.."
slime pulled a scar from lion king when he put quackity over the edge
oh i'm crying, thank you, I love all the details in this
Slime is such a good actor… I never think about that enough
THIS IS SO AMAZING! THE ART STYLE IS CHEFS KISS!
I am so glad this is the first thing I saw of Quackity's death
Dude, this is amazing. I love how you made your own details, it fits so well together, cuz it feels like something, that could have happend canonically. The Animation is great and smooth. Please dont let the hate get to you, this is a masterpiece!!
I AM NOT OKAY - thi sis so gOOD THIS IS SO GOOD AND IS SENDING ME INTO EMOTIONAL TURMOIL
