That lady was going some - she was wiping the floor for most of the race (I had to surrender with the live stream to go and actually cheer on my friend on the course)
I want to share how thrilled I was to spot you running the Copenhagen Marathon last Sunday. Seeing you out there on the course not just once, but multiple times, was was genuinely motivating. It's clear you've put a lot of training and dedication into your marathon preparation. I really hope this isn't the last time we'll see you at the Copenhagen Marathon. It would be fantastic to have you back next year, adding that extra spark to the race atmosphere. Your presence definitely makes the event even more exciting for fans and fellow runners alike.
Really appreciate that Martin! Copenhagen will always be a special place for me so I reckon there’s a high chance of a return. See you in September for the half 🙌🏻
Cute sister is a brilliant addition to these things. More Ellie. All seriousness, upbeat mood at the end despite it not going exactly as planned is inspiring and impressive. Thanks for these.
Finally! Nothing better than sitting down with my dinner to realise there's a new Benisrunning vid - smashed it. Ellie did a great job and made me emotional seeing how proud of you she is. Looking forward to the next vid!!
Fantastic, loved the whole run and video. Massive respect for sis cam. That's not easy either and really enjoyed that. I suspect she had the harder job 😊
Huge Congratulations Ben, you're an inspiration to all. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together while in the midst of trying to prepare and run a PB.- Respect to you.
Ben you did so well! be proud! Thanks for coming to Copenhagen to run again. I was cheering for you at the sharp turn, just after the halfway mark. Funny to see you later in Darcy´s café! My hands were numb from clapping and cheering you guys on..I hope to join the fun and run along maybe next year, but let´s see... best Jakob
Thanks mate, really appreciate your support. Can always find me in the good coffee spots. People always go for a pint post race, coffee is no.1 priority for me 😂
Congratulations Ben you did brilliantly. Especially coming back from a nasty injury. Loved watching your sister Ellie too. She was so proud of you and was so heartwarming to see 🥺🥰 and she did great following you around the course recording you. Double kudos to you both 💪❤
Congrats! You did great. Thank you for not going into a negative ramble for not achieving your goal time. People who aspires to run should notice that even an elite runner can have a tough run, and still remember what a privilege it is to be able to run. Well done!!
Great job Ben. Proud of you. Been excited to see the race video. Even avoided the results so I could see it first here. I’ve got my first marathon this weekend!!
Love your relationship with Ellie - truly sibling goals! Congrats on a wonderful time Ben, another clutch performance coming off a long injury. Can't wait to see what the future holds for you! Keep inspiring others mate 👏🏽👏🏽
Your sister is a wee gem man, love the support you both have for each other ❤️ Maybe not the race you hoped for but 3:30 per km in a marathon is just insane to me, amazing effort mate 👏
What an experience Ben. I know how you finish when you get a respectable time yet didn't quite get your A-goal. Fantastic job filming and your sister deserves a gold medal. Been watching you for several years now and I love seeing your progression and abilities continue to improve. Thanks for inspiring me to further my own running as best as I can. Can't wait to see the race breakdown.
Hoped to see you there, big fan of your channel. In the end didn't manage to, but ran my first Marathon :) The people at the course were really putting in an effort to cheer everyone along. Was kind a lucky that I finished before the rain started. You also made to the official race stream, when the female winner overtakes towards the end of the race, still looking strong!
Good effort Ben! It was nice meeting you at Reffen, I appreciated how down to earth you were, it's not always the case with RUclipsrs. Ellie's great too ofc :)
I watched the race live on RUclips, and saw you in the elite field before the race. You also got a lot of on-screen time after it started, because you were sticking close to the battle between the top ladies contenders (while you were following the pacer). I also saw you running to the finish line. The camera crew were focusing on the ladies but there you were on the frame, finishing. I laughed at the bit where you said the 4 and 5 hour finishers would have been rained on, because I'm a 3h55 runner and felt for my fellow 4 hour finishers. Your elite experience looked amazing! Something as simple as the space to warm up before a marathon is such a big deal! It's not possible for us regular runners because we try to get good spots in the crowds. So I've learned to train with very little to no warming up. I've said enough! Waiting for your race recap!
That was a great result for a comeback, even more so the fact that you held it together when detached from the pack and got the best out of yourself on the day. Great job by Ellie on the filming too - you should reciprocate on her first marathon!
Great job! Coming off an injury that was great. I didn’t hit my sub 30 5k pb until my 4th race this year. 3 fails before I got it. Love the Ellie cam. Great job as well!
i am french, i follow you for a long time and you are a very good athlete , very humble, if you didn't have your RP dont worry it will happen soon ! the marathon is an art and everything can happen on 42km ! continue yours videos it's inspiring( sorry for my english)!
Awh welldone Ben .. don't be to hard on urself . You did brilliantly ... U shud be very proud ... . Welldone to ur sister on the filming , she did great 💪💪✅. Next marathon you Wil nail the 2.22
nice video and im pretty amazed at how your sister was able to travel around the course by public transport and seeing you at so many places, pretty cool to have those skills in a city they dont live in. usually i get so confused by public transport when im abroad.
Ellie is the type of person that if I were 20 years, my younger, I’d fly over the pond just to say “hi” to her! Well done BEN! You looked very much in control!
Fair play Ben that's a cracking time!! I had a stress fracture in my foot after a mountain ultra race they are no run so glad you have fully recovered from that!
@BenIsRunning I sure have but I was out of action for a number of months which was painful both physically and mainly mentally! I'm now back to doing 80k a week and working upto hopefully getting past the 100km ultra milestone this year all going well! Loving the content it's inspiring me to get faster also while increasing my endurance! 👍💪
Well done Ben🥳. Such a great video! I’m not sure I could even sprint for 20 seconds at your marathon pace🤣, but so inspirational. Great vlogging by Ellie too!
it's interesting that several runners I follow on YT all set marathon goals this year and all seemed to fall short of the goal, it doesn't diminish their efforts because we know the journey is more important than the destination..looking forward to new journey's and goals🦾
Goals for me have to be lofty enough to make dedication worth while. Missing one only makes you more determined for the next which is a real plus point to running imo 🙌🏻
You ran past me about 4k into my run and looked so strong! I'm sorry you didn't hit your goal, but still a very very impressive performance and speeds my mind can't grasp. I actually saw you at the expo too, but got way too shy to come and say hi 😆Maybe next time!
The race conditions were amazing. I had a great race myself with no cramps or stomach issues (finally..). Wish I could have met you. Maybe next time at the half marathon 😊
That is some impressive amount food you put away Ben! 😅 I would love to visit Copenhagen and visit that market, looks amazing!! Well done on a fantastic result!!
This one is like a Steven Soderbergh movie with all these different shots of Ben running slow mo, or wide angle, and then Ellie trying to grab a train to the next spot. Like a damn heist movie for runners.
Ellie's running has really improved. She gets past Ben so easily... She even has to stop and wait for him to catch her... Amazing!
Ellie is so sweet ❤ good job getting to all your spectator spots Ellie!!
She really did do a bloody brilliant job 🎉
She was great!!
She smashed it 😊
I watched the live stream of the race, saw you just behind lady number 1, what a run mate, top 30 finish!
Thanks mate, yeah 29/15000 isn’t too bad ey 😂
That lady was going some - she was wiping the floor for most of the race (I had to surrender with the live stream to go and actually cheer on my friend on the course)
Well done Ellie, great job. Oh and you too Ben 🤣🫡
I want to share how thrilled I was to spot you running the Copenhagen Marathon last Sunday. Seeing you out there on the course not just once, but multiple times, was was genuinely motivating.

Ellie is a really cheerfull and bright person. She really has a talent for these vlogs.
I have a 2.5 and 1 yr old. I really hope they have a relationship like you and Ellie when they are older. Well done on the marathon Ben.
Finally! Nothing better than sitting down with my dinner to realise there's a new Benisrunning vid - smashed it. Ellie did a great job and made me emotional seeing how proud of you she is. Looking forward to the next vid!!
Thanks Sophia, glad your enjoyed the vlog. Hope your dinner was as tasty as my post race burger 😂
same 😂😂
Fantastic, loved the whole run and video. Massive respect for sis cam. That's not easy either and really enjoyed that. I suspect she had the harder job 😊
Huge Congratulations Ben, you're an inspiration to all.

Thanks Jane, it certainly made the difference to have that family support on course too!
Managed to catch a glimpse of you during it mate , my first marathon 3:28 super happy with it 💪🏼
I also bagged a 3:28 at Copenhagen this year, small world 😂

You are an inspiration, keep the hard work. Your sister is lovely and very supportive.
Thanks mate, was great to have her out on the course!
Great job Ben. Proud of you. Been excited to see the race video. Even avoided the results so I could see it first here. I’ve got my first marathon this weekend!!
That’s commitment, thanks Colin 👊🏻

Another solid effort Ben. Consistency is key. The times will take care of themselves.
Appreciate that Martin. Feel like on was on the cusp of something but will motivate me plenty until the next

fantastic attitude in every single moment during the last months and the race. Fantastic race Ben, well done boy!
