This video made me realize creativity, storytelling and interculturality are constant in my life... And I absolutely love the idea of developing an aesthetic, it resonates so much deeper than the word ' path '.
I’ve been watching your videos for over 2 weeks now and there’s not been one that I haven’t found useful. I find them to be very inspiring, motivating, educational, but also very soothing. I’m not currently able to join your Renaissance club, but it’s something I would love to do when I can figure out how to fit it in my budget. Your doing wonderful things here, Adama 🤍
Omg! I placed this video into my watch later folder and was so drawn to watching it this morning. You literally articulated how I’ve been feeling about resuming my YT channel, whilst pivoting. I defintely feel like I can relate to this and super excited to do the exercises you suggested, in order to get out of my head. Thank you gorgeous 💖✨
Your video is so engaging, i like your presentation. Having multiple passion and interest is a blessing, especially when you start with one, build it to because successful then move on to the next.
You're so welcome. I've been really enjoying it and sharing what I've learned over the years. Any feedback or other topics you want to see in the series is welcome 🤎
Such a great video! Provided much needed motivation as I grow my own self development content - it’s so important to know what voices are at the table so you can add to the conversation (not mimick it). I’m also very process oriented so have been loving the content you’re creating in this space. 🙌🏾✨
Love this! Even though I'm in my 40's your wisdom on multiple passions is what captured my attention and kept me here. To all the ladies and gents listening to your content and also applying it, you all will have a very bright furure! Also, who's the jazz artist playing in the back ground? Lovely and relaxing music.
That is so crazy that you stated that you come from engineering background and what I’m doing now is I’m been a marketing digital marketer for a couple years now and I wanted to get into engineering and UXUI design. I actually wanted to become now I’m on a journey to become a full stack engineer because I wanted to create an app For people on a AIP diet that suffers from autoimmune diseases and it will like help them make recipes you know connect with like their food brands they love that’s why I wanted to get into tech now and plus to see more Black people, black women in engineering, and tech. And the fact you were speaking about how your knee shouldn’t just be a doctor, but it can be also other things talking about relation and bring other people like you can have a bigger impact than the niche that people want you to have or think your knee should only be centered around. I love this video and I wanna thank you so much because I know , God me to hear this❤❤🎉🎉
I love it when people use tech to solve meaningful problems like this! It's great what you're doing and I wish you all the best on your full stack journey! You're so welcome and i'm glad you found this video 🙏🏾
The thing about the unfair advantage is so so true. Really resonated with me and the way Adama got excited made me get excited too lol😂❤ Thoroughly enjoyed this video!
You totally just gave me an aha moment. I always just list the skills that I have when doing exercises like this. Never thought to list Caribbean descent and only child as characteristics in business although I do think of them as assets. Thanks for this! What island is your parent from?
*checks my youtube watch history* *Its full of minecraft and avatar world videos my kid watched* 😤 In all seriousness, this video made me realize my "radical" idea of the "empire" I want to create isnt totally insane. I watched another one of your videos and it made me realize.. im not afraid of not being liked, but im afraid of my abilities (or lack thereof) to manage and handle everything else that comes with it. I get so incredibly overwhelmed and have such a hard time breaking down tasks and... just STARTING. Executive dysfunction is one thing I have not figured out how to beat yet. I think one of the pieces of the executive dysfunction puzzle might be just allowing myself to be bored. Sorry for the long comment.
Yes! Thank you for this. I did an hour masterclass on how to find your niche (on my channel). Would love to hear your thoughts! I really, Really love the point about drawing connections between our unique skills and passions. So many people struggle doing this, thinking they have pick just 1 thing for the rest of time. THE WATCH HISTORY exercise!!!! People --- look at what you are *already* loving and learning Thank you Adama! -- Dominique, Educator & Founder, Off Da Beaten Path Learning LLC
I'm in my twentys and to be honest I have been let down by what people have being saying to me, I'm at collage right I've decided to drop out because I was mistreated by my colleagues, I kept bottling it in until I exploded i did it out of anger and said stuff on my status that I kinda didn't mean I apologized but I don't really feel like the principal excepted it she was really close to my parents, some teacher told her about what I said and add some flavors even though there was proof of me voice recording but the thing is they don't get my pain and why I'm livid , I've lost a parent the oldest its hard really I'm trying , so I feel bad about it , the thing is with me is that I'm patient but when it's too much I just start kicking off ....... How do u control ur anger? How do I deal with all of these people because I feel like most of the kids without exaggerating hate for no reason do u think I should continue studying in the same collage or should i leave and study in a another place I'm 23 I should be graduating right know and also finding a job and working so what should I do?.... I understand when u said do it anyways , do what u love but its hard because I am kinda fragile person.....
