@@bloodlustaxe1500 yeah it really is. Another one I suggest watching is the Top Gear tribute to Ayrton Senna. Not a movie, but 1 episode, its really well done.
It's actually a super solid movie too. Not overly documentary style, but not super embellished like hollywood likes to do. Just a solid movie about the Hunt vs Lauda story.
It was not a surprising turn of events. He fought in the Hospital under great pain to suck out his lungs time after time to get back on track. His wounds on the head still hurt him as hell when wearing the helmet... Bigest badass in motorracing ever.
The movie shows both the perspective of Lauda and Hunt, and even though i like Lauda more i didn't feel bad after Hunt won the WDC (Hunt died a few years after). Hunt was a really good driver and deserved a WDC. Lauda won already one in 1975 and then won 2 more after.
Ah yes. A great driver on a great team came all the way back from one point behind to win the championship the following year. What a comeback. I thought you were going to say he came back from a crash to win the race. That would have been a comeback
I thought you was going to say after pulled from the flaming wreck he ran the rest of the race and won. Now that would’ve been a comeback
@@conker33350 it’s a joke

Watch ''Rush'', its a movie about Nicki Lauda and his rivalry with James Hunt. Really good movie based on real events.
I've watched it like 5 years ago when it released it really is a very good movie. I think its the best f1 movie.

The best thing about the movie. Is Lauda's mentality. And hud straight forward answers 🤣

I watched that like 7-8 yrs ago

RIP Legend..
Sleep well Niki.
One of the biggest fighters ever.
Niki Lauda being rescued by drivers was probably the best thing ever
Niki Lauda: The Phoenix of F1
Watch this movie: Rush

So he is basically a 3 time world champ
No, he IS a 3 time wdc, the video forgot to mention one of them, that couldve been his 4’th
And he's still racing with bandages attached to his wounded face, what a legend👏👏👏 (i got it from articles and watching "rush" movie)
That year was the most unfair year in formula one. Niki deserved to win
Canada 2011 Jenson Button
He’s actually a 3 time world driver’s champion, you forgot to mention one, he won the 1975 title as well
Ah yes.. back on the grind!

Charles Leclerc 2022
Not bad for a guy who had been given his last rights
I thought he was gonna hop outta his car and steal someone else's
And yall thought Grosjean was the phoenix
1 point.....i think there a set up to make it like that, a.k.a look like he was supose to win
Niki could have won the championship after he crashed but decided not to because of the extreme wet weather
Nicki was awesome.
