A retired cop coming in and the on-duty officer giving him a pistol is the most American thing ever, and I love it.
My thoughts exactly. Lol.
And we're proud of it :D

Some shit that would happen in a Black Ops campaign mission, I love it.
Years ago I worked as an Army civilian police officer and we often discussed during our active shooter training that we would likely have individuals who had a firearm try to assist us with the situation. Essentially we said ‘eff it, even though technically CCW isn’t allowed on a military base, we’re gonna take the help and deal with the situation later.
FYI, no CCW on a military facility is utter nonsense.
The trooper won me when he asked "can I see your badge again?"

What isn't noticed in the video is the asswipe lasering me and approaching my red Ram Pickup in the inside lane on I-5 in an attempt to carjack me. Trooper Tuttle pulls up and intercepts the would be carjacker and ultimately saves my life.
Mr. Hudson thank you for your service and bravery in stepping in and helping Tpr.Tuttle. Once blue always blue. My father was a MSP Trooper for 27 years. Blessed be friend

This is why you should never go to Canada.
His home state of WA is close to Canada in regards to gun laws with the new AWB laws. So disgusting.
For those who are wondering,
He (rifle guy) did i fact have a mag in his rifle.
It was just a shorter mag that was harder to see.
Yup it's right there just a small 10 to 15 mag. Also saying Canada is fucking sucks because you cant have a pew pew there is kinda stupid. Love the content but don't be mad of a Country with better law's, policy's and values. Weapon's and hunting was always an interest to men its in our dna like swords spears and bows or even slings. But in America alost every family owns a gun and only a select few are hunters and alot of those are trophy hunters. Why all the gun's man? I get it tho you need a gun to beat a gun. But in the end it just means more guns...
@@chiisaiakuma9930 unlike Canada most American criminals pack lot of weapons, houses are broken in by 3-4 people at times.US needs more guns to protect because the bad guys here are better armed and cops are rarely on time. No offense but unlike Canadians who are so brainwashed by your own dictatorial Government, US prefer to rely on themselves first and foremost rather than relying on others. That's why we think Canadian hippies are stupid for giving up their rights just because dictatorial leftist governments that clap for Nazis said you don't require rights.

The fact is this: it's not heroic to run away. We don't give awards or medals to the people that DIDN'T do anything in a time of crisis.

The fact he had a back-up pistol in his boot, shows just how western badass this dude is.
Not from the states but I'm sure many have them
lol ankle is a great place to keep your backup gun when you have a full belt. you won't be able to fit it on your belt, and you kind of don't want it there. you don't want it in your back pocket because thats uncomfortable as hell (although i do know a cop that carries a little tiny revolver in his back pocket). you can really put it in your waistband because your gear will be pushing on it. you can't put it in your front pocket because then you can't draw it from seated.
basically the best options are ankle for concealed and then chest (like over your man boob) or under your shoulder if you are a cop from 1985. i've only see military cops carry their backup but on their chest because its typically the backup to a rifle.
now, if he was wearing real cowboy boots and had a full size colt navy in his boot, that would be cowboy as hell
two is one and one is none

Its pretty common, actually. Officers often carry a small handgun concealed on their body (many elect to carry still revolvers)

And even at that he knew that the officer was perfectly in line to not give him a firearm weather he thought his badge was legit or not, and if that was the case he was still willing to go up and detain the guy UNARMED. Most the time it really is hard to determine the motives of someone you don’t know but him saying that is what I think swayed the officer, he wanted to get the shooter out of the equation and it couldn’t have been more obvious

Shows you how pathetic a lot of criminals are
@@ritchydrake302Suicide by police didn't even enter my mind but yeah that could have been the case. Getting hit that many times he likely wasn't attempting to evade.
It's funny how you used to be able to just watch the videos but now we have to listen to All of the commentary
he says "stop" "im not doing nothing"
I can't win a five dollar scratch off but this guy is out here dodging bullets and having backup materialize out of thin air! Great video, as always
He's the main character.
The retired officer trying to help was oddly wholesome
Dig the profile picture.
He was like, violence required, violence aquired

Thank you
No ducks were harmed in the making of this reality.
the ankle piece go crazy hell yeah
I love how American this video is. Kudos to the retired officer still holding it down
Holding down g*n owners is what cops are best at (i'm not referencing the criminal in the video).
Thank you
America ain't sh*t
Once a cop always a cop it's a good show of character that even after retirement that man was willing to put his life on the line to help his fellow officers and to protect and serve
Being from the Pacific northwest what I find most respectable is that the main officer is Oregonian but the retired officer was from Washington. Different states , same badge. Much respect.
once a fed, always a fed. yup.
No. Once a cop NOT always a cop. That retired officer has no authority and it’s nothing more than a regular citizen. And what’s up with the badge. Ex-cops carry badges that say “I use to be a cop”? 😂
@@doclee8755 they don't mean literally dumbass💀he could be carrying the badge for several reasons like sentimental value, safety, identity, or out of habit😹

Dude the quacks have me laughing my ass off 😂
Hats off to both officers
Props to that retired law enforcement officer helping out a fellow law enforcement officer in need
Oregon citizen here
The reason why the officer is carrying a 10 round mag is because in this state we try to give the scumbags as much of an advantage over the people protecting us as possible because we believe that their problem is some magical oppression they're faced with.
Oregon here as well these gun laws are only helping the criminals and taking away guns from good people
I'm not well read on OR gun laws, I'm only aware of CA laws. Does Oregon have 10 round mag restrictions like CA? If yes, then what's good for the citizens should be good for the police as well. If they don't have 10 round mag restrictions, then that's mega-retarded.
Also an Oregon resident... Yeah it blows here. Flush it down Brown, Tina Kotex and all of their followers have done nothing good for us here. 🤦♂️
@@wulfricofwessex147 technically, not yet. but they're trying damn hard to get it shoved through. to the point that 114 is actively being challenged so they're doing an end run and passing a bill through the legislature to put it in place anyway.
and the bill has it laid out so that it can only be challenged in marion county, where salem is, and where they have home field advantage.
tell me that isn't showing obvious disregard for the constitution, and the right of citizens to petition for redress where they live.
@@wulfricofwessex147 Oregon and Washington are trying to become California, so kind of.
The officer was treated on scene but the suspect got lit the f up lol
Love a story with a happy ending.
Another officer instantly handling business and not just sitting back waiting for backup. A true hero who saved many lives that day, including his own!
The retired officer stepping in to help is so badass. What a cool story afterwards too. Pretty cool things like that can happen. Trooper was lucky he was there. Trooper looked super competent but backup is what keeps you safe and on the winning side.
What is with the "qwack-over"? What, we are too frail to even HEAR gunfire? Lord help us.
