Excellent resource video. I used a Standing stone whelping video 19 months ago when my female was having her first litter and my first whelping experience. I don't remember which female was birthing. But that video from start to finish helped me calmly deliver 10 healthy babies.
My dog is pregnant so I'm watching every single video on RUclips on this topic and this one was probably the most useful one I did not even think about those scissor looking things hopefully I can find them and I didn't think about those twist ties so totally helpful thank you
I used a SSK video a little while ago for my first litter. Thankfully I was blessed with a good mama who took care of them great. The puppies have all turned into 5 week old monsters now.
Thank you for this video! ❤ My gal is ready to labour any day now and I feel so much more confident about observing and assisting if necessary throughout the entire experience! 😊
I’m beginning my process of raising and breeding service dogs and working poodles and your videos have been SOOO helpful! We are expecting our first litter in two weeks!
Thanks for the long form video! I adopted a rescue just before Christmas, whom I was told was spayed…she was actually pregnant. I just found out about 2 days ago and she’s basically due any day. I’ve been researching like crazy because I am so unprepared, this video helped. The waiting and stuff not being edited out is helpful so I’m not thinking something is wrong between puppies etc. this covered a lot of the dirty details I have not otherwise seen. Wish me luck! (And Noel the Christmas Pup too)
We rescued an abused Belgium Malinois/ German Shepherd a few weeks ago. We learned that Coco is heavily pregnant. I am big spay/neuter but her owners purposefully bred her I believe. Since I have never seen or helped with birthing.. I am scared & mortified. Your video helped so much with your calm, helpful demeanor. I wish you were here to help our dog! I am dreading this like a root canal but it's going to happen 😭. She is staying at a house I am remodeling as she seems pet reactive & I have cats. So Coco is alone at night but we do have a camera on her 24/7. I pray she births during the day 🙏. She has a whelping box but not the heating pad. Ugh I'm struggling with all involved. Prayers would be appreciated!
Wow! This was such an eye opener, I'm so glad you all made this video, it's given me a realistic expectation of the puppy births. Thank you. I was not prepared at all.... will know what to do and I won't freak out when I see all the blood and I will make sure their airways are cleared. I have. Dobie having puppies.... oh and I didn't know it was an hour to two hours between birth! I would've been freaking out on that too. Thank you thank you. I've had several females and none of them had babies except this one.. I have a male Dobie who is the father. Wirh me luck.
Those puppies seem just a little bigger than your average, small size puppy, but absolutely cute and adorable. By the way, excellent type of education you are giving and teaching all of us about this.
We actually took that playlist down to prepare for the launch of our welping course! The videos are still on our channel, you'll just have to search for them! Soon we'll have an entire whelping course which will have everything laid out in weekly development stages.
Wow I think that's absolutely amazing and super helpful!! I'm definitely appreciative and can't wait for that course to launch, i'm deff a future customer! Thank you ❤@@StandingStoneKennels
Outstanding presentation. Very educational. That 2nd puppy (breech) @35:10 was a really tough delivery. Seems like the whelping box is really cramped after a couple of puppies arrived.
Thanks for watching and your kind worlds! She did a great job and that’s why we are there to help if there are any complications! The whelping box can get a little tight at times!
I just found your channel this morning and have watched a few videos. The first one was from 4yrs ago when Breezy was whelping. Now im watching Crush whelp. Is Crush Breezy's daughter? I swear I recognize her pattern.
Hello. Your video is extremely helpful. Thank you. What scale did you use? I'm trying to find a good one, but everyone seems to have just as many 1 star reviews as 5 star reviews.😮💨
I don't recommend a heating lamp due to the dangers it poses of overheating or falling and being a fire hazard. I do recommend using an outside regulated heat source like our medical grade temperature controlled and engineered whelping nest: www.standingstonesupply.com/store/Heated-Whelping-Nest-for-Puppies-p295689525
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it. Kat made the whelping diagram and it is available on our website as a digital download: www.standingstonesupply.com/store/Puppy-Litter-Record-Diagram-p295680871
Can you please share your puppies record sheets I love the set up and all the information you cal log in for your litter records please share them as a pdf thank you
Thanks for watching our videos! We have the litter record on our store site! I will list the link below!www.standingstonesupply.com/store/Puppy-Litter-Record-Diagram-p295680871
oh my that one was SUPER green liquid. right after she went for a walk. eeek. I think that may freak me out. I'm watching for a notation above the video, just before 1:`19 puppy 5

Thanks for sharing, I'm so glad our videos were helpful!
We were on the edge of our seats awaiting each beautiful puppy. Thank you for documenting, Quest was absolutely amazing to watch! 💖
Glad you enjoyed it! She was a rock star
What a beautiful mama and a whole gaggle of beautiful babies!
Thank you! We agree!
Did any of these pups become show prospects? Quest was a good example for my ladybug- I made the dog watch the whole thing! Can’t hurt!
Great job Kat and very well done!! We loved every minute and can't wait to meet our future little pup when the time comes!
We're so excited!
Great job, very impressive, great care shown to the mother and pups, well done,
Thank you very much!
Yes, I agree... this helped me get into the mindset and how patient I have to be for the mama and puppies.
Great job Kate and Quest . Loved every second of it.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Awesome video. Watching now. You guys have great content!
You are SO KNOWLEDGABLE! Thank you for this!
You are so welcome!! Glad you found it informational!
TY for this video, I'm about to do my first whelping and this was very informational.
You are so welcome!
You do such an amazing job helping your moms deliver. You take such great care of mom and the babies. What causes some of the fluids to seem green.
So relaxing experience.. No useless background music.. I learned a lot. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed the video!
❤❤❤❤ outstanding presentation I must say.. the best I have ever seen
Thank you so much 😀
My dog is due any day so you’re videos are very helpful because I’ve never helped a dog have puppies before so I’m really nervous
Thanks for watching our videos! We hope you have a healthy litter! We do have another videos on puppy development!
Great video!!!! Thank you for sharing!! Very educational.
Thanks for watching!
The 2nd puppy said "GIRL!" 😂
Hehe
Those puppies seem just a little bigger than your average, small size puppy, but absolutely cute and adorable. By the way, excellent type of education you are giving and teaching all of us about this.
Wow, thank you this is a great video. Is it easy to tell male vs female right away and how so? Not sure how obvious it is.
Thank you for such a great educational video
So glad you found it helpful and educational! Thanks for watching!
What happened to the playlist you guys used to have on whelping all the way up to 8 weeks of age 😢 loved watching the progress of every week
We actually took that playlist down to prepare for the launch of our welping course! The videos are still on our channel, you'll just have to search for them! Soon we'll have an entire whelping course which will have everything laid out in weekly development stages.

The whelping box can get a little tight at times!
What is the white circular plate in the center of the whelping box? Did you make it or was bought?
Check them out at standingstonesupply.com
Thank you for this video 😊. Very helpful
So glad you liked it and found it helpful!
Great video!
Thanks for watching the video!
As always very informative videos. Thank you so much for sharing. At what point would you make the call that a C-section is needed?
We did a video on this: ruclips.net/video/inv_3nkkUJY/видео.html
I just found your channel this morning and have watched a few videos. The first one was from 4yrs ago when Breezy was whelping. Now im watching Crush whelp. Is Crush Breezy's daughter? I swear I recognize her pattern.
Thanks for watching! They are actually not related.
Hello. Your video is extremely helpful. Thank you. What scale did you use? I'm trying to find a good one, but everyone seems to have just as many 1 star reviews as 5 star reviews.😮💨
You can just use a kitchen scale in the beginning stages when accurate weight gains/losses are very important to track! Hope this helps!
Good stuff! 🙏
Thank you 🙌
Thanks!
Thank you for your support!
Question... why do you leave the collar on during this process?
So we can help guide the mommas up or out of the whelping box. But then as soon as the whelping process is over we take their flat collars off.
Do we need a heating lamp while whelping
I don't recommend a heating lamp due to the dangers it poses of overheating or falling and being a fire hazard. I do recommend using an outside regulated heat source like our medical grade temperature controlled and engineered whelping nest: www.standingstonesupply.com/store/Heated-Whelping-Nest-for-Puppies-p295689525
What is the green stuff coming out of her
It is discharge from the birthing process.
Where did you get your puppy form? Great video!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it. Kat made the whelping diagram and it is available on our website as a digital download: www.standingstonesupply.com/store/Puppy-Litter-Record-Diagram-p295680871

in that big push, the color of the liquid was totally different. No puppy came with the sack. Now waiting to see if that darker fluid meant something.
I'm loving the play by play as you watch lol
If the asst. Is going to be in the room , it should be bigger. It seems a little crowded in there.
Thanks for the tip :)
oh my that one was SUPER green liquid. right after she went for a walk. eeek. I think that may freak me out. I'm watching for a notation above the video, just before 1:`19 puppy 5
Be in touch with your vet if anything concerns you!
❤
How many litters has she had before ?How long does she nurse them ?
This is her 4th litter. We wean our puppies from momma at 6-7 weeks old!
Shes licking that umbilical cord too much. Isn't that dangerous risking dam bite a little too much and puppy end up with hernia?
It can happen but is pretty rare. She is a great mom and the licking is very important.
Got watermelon 😂😂😅
Thanks for watching!
Exc🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😂😂😂🤩
Why breed when there are so many rescue
Dogs who need a loving home
Loving this! I’ve just had puppies too! Love you guys, watch you guys all the time! @BoerboelDaisyDuke
That is awesome! Thanks for watching!
