This week I purchased Kerosene's Unknown Pleasures. I adore it. It was somewhat risky as it was a blind buy. That Earl Grey note rounds out this fragrance so beautifully. And boy, does it last! This fragrance, along with Bianco Latte, were hands down my best purchases of the year.
I decided to treat myself with Sugar Leather for my bday this month. I have an original Angels Share bottle when it first came out. It has aged so beautifully but it’s ten times stronger than when I first got it. It knocks your socks off! Sugar leather reminds me of Angels Share a little but lighter! My 5 yr old loves Angels Share tho haha
I really struggle with caramel, I absolutely love it in real life to eat but generally dislike it in fragrance. I know i am unlikely to love it, but i would love to try unknown pleasures, I think a lot of those kerosene fragrances are very devisive but im intrigued! 😊
Hi Jackie: Found New York Nights on a HUGE discount on Maxaroma yesterday that ends today (Nov.13.) Plus they gave me an extra 5% off so my total for this almost $500 fragrance in the 100ml ended up being just over $200!!! Screaming!!! $203.50 to be exact....CRAZY! Could not pass this up....is a blind buy for me and a first from this House but the reviews are way more positive than negative by far and the only negatives I found (honestly) were on Fragrantica which I felt were picky at best. Sooooo.....here goes! Wish me luck! Your review helped so much as it has many times in the past.........keep up the good work. :)This was always a House I passed on mostly because of the bottles which I learned I am not alone feeling this way but upon reading about the company and seeing its webpage content, I seriously will have to reconsider my former opinion. I recommend you sample, Delizia Oscura by Calaj. It has chocolate, coffee, vanilla, hazelnut, and violet. The violet comes off as a powdery Iris. This scent is beyond nuclear and it makes Amouage’s performance look subpar. Great video! ❤️

I should have listened to you and just blind bought Bianco Latte! I blew through my 5ml decant and I’m buying a full bottle! It is interesting how people interpret the smell differently. When I walked into a restaurant last night the hostess asked who smelled liked a cookie. And my friend thought I smelled like a chocolate bar. I do get that spicy note too and it’s just intoxicating. Next one on my list is Unknown Pleasures. Thanks Jackie!❤
I am on the minority side of Bianco Latte it made me very nauseous and I immediately gave it to my daughter with a warning label not to wear it around me 😬. Have an awesome Sunday ❤️
La Capitale - interesting, I don’t get a lot of caramel in it (which is good because I’m not a big gourmand lover) but there is vanilla in it and it’s a Bourbon Vanilla note listed so on these new, cooler weather days I’ve been wearing it layered over a Bourbon Vanilla body oil and it is AMAZING! Sugar Leather is my favorite blind buy of 2023 - LOVE - so much so I bought a second 100 ml bottle or back up. I pick up more of a suede note than leather in it.
If you love caramel you should sample Cotton Candy by Private Mood. I blind bought it because of its name but it ended up being very caramel, and I really love it and it's a stronger and longer lasting. It's worth sampling if you enjoy the caramel note 😊

Sol de janiero actually reformulated the 62 edp. Same scent but they made it stronger and last longer. I picked up their new bottle and it last all day with a nice scent bubble that i get whiffs of all day.
The Sol de Janeiro EDP smells like nothing to me. As in, I can’t pick out a single note, no caramel or salt, it’s just a mix of things that smells odd to my nose. But thankfully it only lasts 30 minutes. 😂
Have u tried the new essence of casablanca? It's an extrait de parfum. Side by side, it smells the same but the extrait definitely has more oil and the og more alcohol. The bottle is gorgeous. I'll send u a decant.
Great list sadly New York nights is not for me i actually dont like the smell of Bananas so I wouldnt want to smell like then and i get what you get too from it. What about pop was more floral on me with caramel. it was a floral non literal gourmand on me I tried it last fall. I love caramel my husband doesnt but i do and its my favorite perfume note i think. Bianco Latte is one of my favorite perfumes ever. I dont pick up any of the coumarin luckily. there is a musk in it which doesn't bother me but i think that is what is leaving the trail. I like alot of your fragrances just not in this video. I have Lira but I dont care for it the lavender is nasty. Lira has Lavender in it. I purchased Peregrine last fall because it was hyped on youtube but sadly i only got Rose from it there was no caramel so I sold it. But tastes and noses do change in a year. I also had La Capitale Anna made me buy it! but I get alot of leather from so i sold it also a couple weeks ago. Its very long lasting. I got mostly dark base from the beginning 🙈 I finally got a sample of Unknown Pleasures after watching you. it was nice but it wasnt super sweet I need to re smell my sample again now that weathers much cooler.
