But honestly, Sora entering Unreality aka the world of fiction within Kingdom Hearts, it makes PERFECT sense for Verum Rex to be the world Sora ends up in. He was introduced to it in Toy Box, and thus, it being the only fictional world Sora knows of, his dream battle against Yozora in Quadratum and his heart guiding him there after the ending of KH3 just make sense.

VersusXIII sounded amazing. Too bad they had to re-do it from the ground up due to the laws in China about the something something themes of death, yada yada. Not releasing a numbered FF title there would not only be unprecedented but they would be losing a huge chunk of money in possible sales.

To me this is proof that Tabata indeed ditched most of the major points from versus. SE essentially lied, the started from nearly scratch using the barest bones of what Nomura had.
Not really, but in the actual game, Noctis was the latest successor to a throne that had been intended for Ardyn all along, so Noct was an unwitting pawn from the word go alongside him.

More studios had to be involved in the production of FFXV as they were aiming to get out as soon as possible after the game engine revamp.
Nomura dug his own grave as far as Versus XIII is concerned. That man can't keep to a schedule even if his life depended on it. He was also way to ambitious and wishy washy with his ideas. Things would change drastically every week. Working on multiple projects probably didn't help either.

I wonder if this was one of the "trials" yozora was talking about. I also find it interesting that yozora is fighting those robots(which make them his enemies) in this trailer and yet in his boss battle he is able to control them almost mysteriously and uses them against sora. Perhaps that means he was given this power as a reward for passing his trial perhaps?And in one of these said trials he also gained the power to save sora?
He is using the move that lets him stole Sora's keyblade at 0:25 its probably part one his abilities

This probably is three things Square Enix is teasing in Kingdom Hearts 3. A mini-game, a next gen engine peak like the one they showcased a couple months back, and an actual game they'll be releasing on next gen consoles. They better go ahead with making this into an actual game for next gen because this looks sweet. Not only that but release it as an early next gen game like in 2021 or 2022.

@@JulioCruz261 Yes but, it wouldn't make sense for this world to be in KH4 if it isn't a Disney world (wich obviously isn't) or a KH original world (wich also isn't because Verum Rex location is Shibuya), so I think it would make more sense if, we got a Verum Rex game and then in KH 4 we get the Verum Rex world based on the game.

You can tell if was scrapped version of FF versus, even Noctis pose on throne is replica. Defending his city and getting to see insomnia how it was present is what we wanted.
Should have got, if Nomura didn't spend 5 years and not even have a half, nay, a quarter complete game. He went WAY over time and WAY over budget, and then Tabata was left with the mess Nomura left.
It's soo funny now that the files for early dev footage for this CGI leaked we know they just used Noctis' model with engine blade as placeholder.
I'm amazed how good this cinematic looks. This could've easily been sold as a real game.
Everyone during Vanilla KHIII: "Ah yes, another one character just for a joke- wait, that guy looks like Noct..."
KHIII Secret Ending: "OH... MY... GOSH... HE'S GONNA BE REAL?"

An amazing commercial. It was so good that i thought it was an actual final fantasy spinoff that i somehow didnt hear of. Just shows the amount of love and care put into KH3 is unbelievable. And then you have games like fallout 76 that cost the exact same amount but have probably the amount of care it took just to make one KH3 level... KH3 is Game of the year already for me.
