As much as it seemed like an honest talk, a lot of important parts missing. He says he didn’t look for the features of bride but did marry a doctor, did he not see that. No one should be losing themselves to save another. Your parents didn’t loose themselves to save you as a child, but you say you gave up yourself and your image, in the concern and care of your father. It is noble you are using non traditional models but there maybe an advantage to you, money. Will you pay them the same as a model from the industry. For some reason, there seems some narcissistic traits in you and/or with the person you married, and without details hard to tell. Marriage, divorce, families, aging and it’s ailments etc, are part of life but doesn’t mean it should take your life. Examine your childhood, what traumas you faced and how it impacted you. Your parents always moralizing as to how you should live, itself is a form of abuse to a child or young person. That maybe the key to answering your questions and work on it with a knowledgeable and capable therapist. Narcissists do not actually have high self esteem but it is due to their low self esteem, self image, self worth abd sense of self that creates the persona of a narcissist, and their expectation of others abd their projections of their own persona abd sense of self. I took a look of your designs and found it to be extremely gaudy, glittery, loud and impractical. If you have certain talent, develop it and evolve. Being in touch with your gender and sexual identity is also very important. You must develop yourself, let those who do not want to be part of your life, be and let them go. Be happy with who you are and change the parts that you feel you need to change for the better.
