    So, I started taking 600 mg of Best Naturals brand NAC a few months ago. Once a day in the am. It says to take on an empty stomach, but that did not work for me so I take it with an 8oz protien drink. I heard about it on another show I listen to on Rumble. I started for some benefit the host spoke of, which I can't remember right now. But my blood pressure, that was always high at checkups I have regularly for my CLL, went down to a "normal" rate and my veins shrunk. It was the only new thing I had added, so I know that's what did it before I ever heard anyone say it could help high blood pressure. I told my Nurse Practioner and she looked at me like I was speaking a forieng language and went on about something else. NAC has helped my blood pressure and over all health. I now recommend it to all i know as a worthy suppliment. And...it is inexpensive. Stock up before they take it away from us.

      Better to take at bedtime. It tends to have an effect that blunts enjoyment. People don't get a high from their recreational substances and activities according to anecdotal evidence. So the emotions can be dampened

    Hi! If NAC chelates heavy metals, does it reduce iron and/or ferritin levels? I started taking NAC to lower inflammation and boost my energy last year, and early this year my hair started coming out in clumps - like 250-300 hairs every time I washed it, which is every day or every other day with no regrowth -- and it didn't respond to Minoxidil or Spironolactone. Went to tons of doctors to figure out why, and it wasn't until a couple of months ago, that a nurse practitioner thought to test my ferritin. My ferritin is a 9, and I don't have anemia or other blood abnormalities. It seems to be the likely culprit. I'm now supplementing with heme iron and I would like to continue using NAC, but not if it's going to make me go bald.

    • @aalliaandreadis5109
      @aalliaandreadis5109 11 месяцев назад +10

      Minoxidil did that, not the NAC. Don't know how long you've been using it but my ex boyfriend used to briefly till he realised it was pointless cos he'd have to use it forever not to lose the hair he had grown which in fact wasn't strong or spiky more like baby hair. He has now replaced it with NAC, zinc, pumpkin seed and vitamin D as his type of alopecia is androgenic. He now has a full head of hair. I myself experienced minimal alopecia due to trichotillomania (pulling my hair obsessively) and NAC helped but the best out there in my opinion is methylsulphonylmethane aka MSM. Try it, it's cheap and you have nothing to lose. I initially discovered it for my dad who suffers from disk hernias and I saw him with a walking stick (interesting to note that was after he took a booster) and started researching what could help him best. I gave him MSM and within a month I never saw that walking stick again and it's been two years since. While looking into it I saw black girls on RUclips saying MSM worked miracles in helping them grow new hair and longer after having damaged it with treatments and styles. MSM is a precursor to cysteine keratin methionine collagen and will pretty much fix the entire body , grow new hair, strong nails and repair cartilage and joints. While reading studies I also found plenty pointing to anti-inflammatory and even cancer-fighting properties. No adverse effects located as of yet. Get a good quality MSM (avoid bulk powder form which comes from china) and your situation is very likely to reverse. Unlike minoxidil the MSM will extend the hair cycle naturally. If your alopecia is androgenic add drops of menthol essential oil in your shampoo. Lavender, rosemary and Clove work too but I read a study that showed in a rat experiment that results from menthol trumped all others and worked much better than minoxidil with none of the rats losing the new hair after treatment. A combination of topical natural anti-dht oils and internal MSM will work almost certainly. You can also dilute a teaspoon of MSM in a spray bottle with water and spray your roots with it. All the best,

Stay away from minox regardless, men also say it messes with their libido. The shedding persists cos it never fixed the problem. There are much more effective vasodilators out there like high dose niacin (watch out it causes flushing but that's how it works you can actually see and feel the blood rising to the surface of your skin) or nitric oxide (beetroot greens, arginine, citrulline). Good luck!
