A look at Bruce Lees unhuman speed.
Bruce Lee was born on November 27, 1940, in San Francisco, California. He was a child actor in Hong Kong who later returned to the U.S. and taught martial arts. He starred in the TV series The Green Hornet (1966-67) and became a major box office draw in The Chinese Connection and Fists of Fury.
Not just speed, but his precision is to the millimetre. Surgical precision with intense speed and power. Not every martial artist is that precise. Damn, I miss him.
Yeah, so precise he never landed any of those strikes. It's either a movie, or just him doing a speed demo. Anyone can be fast for a second.
And the fact that he managed NOT to hit the other persons makes it even more impressive.
Shadowboxing
Lol
Inhuman control
He did hit Jackie Chan, a stuntman, in his movie though...
@@lamefart8831 its a different context based on the place where he demonstrate to people, not acting to shoot a film
1:45 the fact that he can react immediately to that punch is amazing. And his punch lands first, that's insane.
It was kiiinda sick but still not all that effective looking or especially quick when compared to the best actual competitive fighters nowdays. Pick any top 100 boxer in lighter weight classes, they’re much quicker. Those actually known for good hand speed like King Ry make Bruce look downright slow. That’s ok tho, Bruce was amazing in his own way.
@@SethCooper-mf4imthat's him not trying move fast my guy or girl
@@SethCooper-mf4im Well they interviewed really really good fighters. Some world champions. Hell just watch what Chuck Norris says about him and that guy wo a lot of tournaments in his prime. He said Bruce was next level.
They were impressed by Bruce and said even today this speed is impressive. With the right training he could fight at an extremely high level. This guy was decades ahead of his time.
Once again... not even a punch. Not even a fight. Yes, he was fast. Whatever. He didn't actually fight. Just saying.
He trained harder than one punch man but for him he was too fast for baldness to touch him
LOL😍😍😍
Good one.
AHAHHA AHHA This comment made my day .
Hahaha
Bruce Lee was not even a real warrior, but an actor
Master Lee changed everything in the world of Martial Arts and Cinema. His influence simply cannot be overstated. Above and beyond all of that, he was a Good Man. We miss him everyday.
Well spoken brother 👏👏👏👏🙏
Idk I think I’m faster
He also was a huge Part in bringing cinema to china and bringing Asien People into Hollywood
So powerful people believe that he actually is a fighter lmao

And I mean the true martial arts. Not the ones with the dirty black belts.
My dad knew him and my family believed he was poisoned
Tomato Faissal but he did :)
To this day nobody has come close to the level of Bruce Lee. The Father of MMA, Legend!
watch donnie yen videos on youtube, he is very good as well!
@@anikkhan4887 he is not close to Bruce Lee. you can see the power speed and power in Bruce Lee's punches and kicks
@Tomato Faissal actually no. Ali is only a boxer. Jeet kun do was basically stitched from every fight style at that time taking only the best bits. With that kinda crazy speed, highly unlikely a boxer wud beat him, no matter how big or muscular he is
@Tomato Faissal u idiot bruce lee has a diffent kind of strength which came from his tendons and not muscles. Do you even have any muscles? Bruce Lee is very fast in everything he does and in order to be fast you need to be strong. U knoe that? Bruce is very strong. And he is very fast and that needs very much strength. Can you see the boxers of today? They are not even that fast. Not even comparable to Bruce Lee.
@Quisable even the doctor said Bruce Lee body is like iron
He is the fly that saitama couldn't get.
Mosquito.
But he is still a "fly"
Nice
Lol
Fear not the man who has practiced a thousand kicks once, fear the man who has practiced one kick a thousand times.
Jesus I wish camera's were better back then, so many frames of his movement are missed because he's to quick!
when ppl are fast, they are fast...
not even today's camera can catch shin lim on his card tricks...
Camera angles back then just sucked too
Motion Picture Frame rate is STILL the same as it was back then...24 frames per second...any more than that,it's just a blur to the human eye
hes fast sure. but he better hit Michael Jai White harder than that if he would hope to knock him out.
@@Darkness-ie2yl how do you know he need to hit harder, lmao acting like you spared with him or something, momentum of a punch is a combination of speed and mass of that arm, for instance a whip is way less lighter than a hand, but Ive never seen a hand tear open a persons back, sometimes speed is more than enough
1:11 there are two person btw holding it
Nice eyes didn't see that

Unbelievable human being. They'll never be another fighter like him. 132 lb of pure 💪. Fastest fighter there's ever been or ever will be. I wish I'd of been around when he was alive to meet him. No matter how old I get he will always be my idol, absolute legend
There will be one day. But that day won't come around for a very long time.
@@kingofdeath9012 Well there is one. "Ryusei Imai". He has trained intensely at such a young age. And is in sync with Bruce Lee's nunchaku scene from the movie "Game of death". Who knows how strong he'll be when he's older. He could possibly be stronger than Bruce. That's if hes fast enough to hit fast as Bruce Lee and kick a 700 lb punching bag that is made of metal. And is able to double it back like Bruce, then he pretty much surpassed Bruce in physical strength and maybe tactics in a fight. Also, I'm sorry for talking too much 💀
@@cristinapastor7180 He could grow up to be similar to Bruce. He might, might not. We'll just see.
@@cristinapastor7180 You cant possible compare Kids to adults, Ryusei's body will change when coming to adulthood, "just saying anything can happen" Just like Ryusei bruce Lee was actively training from when he was a kid. I've seen pics of Ryusei Imai, the kid is highly muscular, As a parent myself i dont think thats a good thing for a child, but hey thats my point of view :)
@@MarkTopmaWhy is it a bad thing? The myth that being muscular at a younge age is bad or it will stunt growth or whatever are all bullshits
It’s that snap that he has in all his moves. Insane, it’s like he coils his muscles and just unloads for each strike.
Contraction training and supplementation for micronutrient purposes. He was way ahead of his time
Daaaamn, look at speed.... That kick and punch, just need 1 hit to put you coma or to the grave. This man is legend, no one can do such puch and kick.

1:46 wtf was that. That speed was incredible
Notice his eyes on the opponent.
As he's talking n telling him to attack he counters right away.
In his books he talks about fluidity...being like water...not rigid.
Because being relaxed makes u react faster.
Peace bro.
I was more impressed with the smoothness of it, a lot of fighters can develop some incredible hand speed (Bruce is still extraordinary in his speed) but to make it look so effortless and fluid that’s some awesome (in the old sense filled with a sense of amazement and fear of something so above yourself) talent and skill

"My ultimate goal is to have no style at all." ---- Bruce Lee
1:12 look at his head , in 1 inch punch he can punch that hard bruh . legend
Comparisons between Bruce and other great fighters, like Ali, misses the point that Bruce was operating in a higher dimension. Bruce was a visionary, a pioneer who sought to integrate the knowledge of all types of martial arts in HIS OWN WAY. He studied biophysics to maximize the effectiveness of HIS motion and philosophy to be in complete control of HIS mind. His ability to adapt to any type of martial arts, like water, is what brought to him masters and leaders of all kinds, including Kareem. Ultimately I see that Bruce's goal was to live his vision of a complete fighter. Although he would have been extremely successful at competition or real fights, that probably served no purpose for him.
Andrew Marcus Well said
fucking right, my respects.
So...
Bruce Lee is actually like a real life Goku! Lol sorry.

I remember seeing like an interview or something where they said that Bruce Lee was too quick for the cameras that they had to slow it down in the cameras haha
Han_Some Solo yeah I watched that too.
Yeah granted they were old cameras. Modern day ones would capture his movement just fine. He’s fast, but not that fast.
Stupid brucelee fanboys would believe anything
@@sadcat8671 Isn't about the FPS? how many then and how many now?
After watching Benny Urquidez tribute I think Bruce could do that stuff.
Sifu Lee, not only learned Wing Chung (Kung Fu variant). He learned the modern concepts of Box, Fencing, Jiu Jitsu, Judo among others and was so great that he created his own style of martial art. His physical, technical and speed feats to this day are unsurpassed (Having several Guiness Records). Rest in peace Beloved Sifu Lee ♥️🌹👏🙏.
Beautifully said.
I love to hear Bruce Lee talk, thick Cantonese accent. Speaks with confidence, intelligence, enthusiasm and just so damn self assured. Rightfully so! In a class all of his own.
Me too.
The most inspirational martial artist that ever lived! He changed everything
Like Ali said, he could turn off the lights and be in bed before the room was dark
He is even faster than 0.25x slow motion...really impressive
Legends never die!!!!
We all respect BRUCE LEE!!!!
That is why bruce lee was a legend like no other he set the bar and became the measure stick for greatness!
33drewster absolutely
He beat lots of people. Just not in fake fights. A point system can never gauge the true caliber of a martial artist. Had he not made it as an actor, he might have done some of it. However, why would he waste his time with that when he could make so much more in the movies? The man wasn't stupid!
@@guitarttimman damn right, dedicated his life to self defence, but luckily never had to use it. better to have something & never need it that to need something & never have it.

Every nano-inch of this man's muscle cells were at peak performance. RIP.
The speed itself was insane, even he was told to limit his movements on set so cameras can take his shots easily, what a masterpiece he was. RIP Bruce Lee 🖤🐐💯
He is a real Hero... We miss him so much 😭😭😭😭

in short
There was a legend in Hollywood that Bruce lee punches so fast that they had to have him both hold back so the camera could even catch the frames AND have the the footage slowed down, so that it could be believable.
0:44 He's doing Wing Chun!
Abu Fadhil yes his sensei was a wing chun instructor aka ip man
Dead Silent Reita I know. I just never see him doing Wing Chun before...
Abu Fadhil he did some in fist of fury in the movie i think im not sure but damn the wing chun he did was fast asf lol
Yes, some moves of Wing Chun can't be used in real fights that's why he create Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee also talked about Chinese tradition martial art need to improve). In Jeet Kune Do, he choose most effective moves from his experience with Boxing, fencing tactic, Karate, Chinese's tradition martial art. etc...
I always assume a guy will come in with at least a knife (don't count on seeing it), or some type of blade/razor, so some of the wing chun type of moves can get you cut. Whatever move you do, assume it's a weapon.
This montage proves that Bruce was truly a master. NO one had the charisma and presence he did as a martial artist on screen. He defined a whole genre, gave the Asian community a hero to look up to and paved the way for many kung fu action stars that followed. Bruce, an iconic legend.

He was overpowered and with that lightning speed untouchable
Of course he was fast! He trained with everything. Mostly his abs where I’ve done the same at a young age but with much more intensity than him. That’s why I retain my speed until now. 3 months of maximum level intensity training. No one could have kept up with me ever in the history of human kind. My body was young I healed well and did thousands of pushups, sit-ups, leg lifts, curls, griping exercise and other things. I was only curling with 20lb weights. Now Bruce Lee’s training was intense too the way he can lift his entire body from the bench facing his back to the bench and up. He was definitely strong due to his length of training. My short length of training doesn’t make me overall dfast like him in other areas, but in punching, I’m fast. Bruce is so fast though, I admire anyone that’s close to as fast or possibly as fast as me. Holy crap it’s good to watch someone else. I only recorded myself a few times in my life.
What a nice person..stylish..smart..speedy..handsome all together god will made him
