❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ never have I ever been so proud to be born in California like Bruce Lee. I was born in 80s he was one of my heroes growing up. Thank you for this interview I’ve never seen his humor side before or his awesome laugh. I feel like he’s that much closer to me.😊😊😊😊😊
Bruce lee was true defination of alpha male without any toxicity,he was a man of pure and clean heart, and bruce lee was like spiritual man, his voice was so soothing, and watching and listening him itself give positive vibes
Looking at this interview in its full length, it is clear to see just how humble Bruce Lee actually was, contrary to how he was portrayed as “cocky” in some forms of media, especially in that particular Tarantino’s movie.
The interviewer didnt have to cut him off that much he could have had way more footage with bruce 🤦🏻♂️ But bruce was so knowledgeable that even in little time he said a lot! 🙏 RIP B.L
I agree with you, I don't know what happened but certainly wish the interview had gone longer too. 52 years later and the kind of wisdom and humbleness in answering questions are still so relevant. But yes he displayed all that in just under 25 minutes - simply amazing. RIP B.L ❤️
It's because the interviewer was completely disinterested with him. His tonality , his attempts to poke fun , cutting off when things were being explained because he didn't care and only wanted to stick to the questions he had for him. He treated Mr Lee horribly, should have been interviewed by someone who liked him
Probably there was 1.Limited tele casting time period 2.may not expected that he is gonna be a legendary martial artist and a perfect super human, evergreen actor as well. 3. Racial discrimination, the interviewer is elder , overconfident, seems not interested, took it lite to interview such a younger movie star. However bruce lee did not take it mind and expressed humbly as he is such a cool answering
It was 1971... information about racism and hate weren't so learnable back then. But then again even in 2023 racism and hate are still pretty much rampant so it is difficult to change people mindset in general. All I could say is Bruce Lee was so cool-headed and humble at the age of only 31. This comes over and above the fact that he learned philosophy and practiced martial arts. How many of us (in the world) these days can think and talk like him... So humble, nice and knowledgeable. And last but not least, so well-admired and likeable even in 2023!! ❤️❤️
He was something special in both his fighting abilities and his philosophical beliefs. From playing pingpong with Nunchucks, two finger pushups to his beliefs on the importance of being a Ambassador of good will between Hollywood and Hongkong. A once in a lifetime individual.
Everyone should just embrace that ending when the question was posed with Bruce Lee answering, "I want to think of myself, as a Human Being (not Chinese, or Northern American--adaption). Not trying to sound as, Confucius says...but Under the Sky, Under the Heaven Man, there is but 1-Family!! And with that, I would love to think, feel and believe...we are still linked to Bruce Lee, & his respected philosophy!! ~~Mo!~~
Yeah he was way ahead. And while I agree that maybe the philosophy is sometimes missing, it’s crazy how mixed martial arts have taken off, and arguably Bruce Lee was the first one who really put the pieces together. I agree, but with the caveat that he has had a profound effect on martial arts.
Such an eloquent, wise, polite, charismatic, confident yet humble dude he is imo one of the most underated philosophers in human history, he had a great understanding of the human mind and body which also made him a fantastic teacher. RIP to the legendary Bruce Lee we will never seen another
Several Years later Bruce Lee's Warrior Western Series gets realized by his family and can be watched on Max. And it's definitely one of my favorite Martial Art shows.
Bruce was such a huge star that in 3 years from 1971 to 1973, he broke the hong kong box office record 4 times and he died in 1973. Big Boss released in 1971, was Bruce Lee's first major film made on the budjet of 50k USD and grossed 50M USD becoming the highest grossing hong kong movie of all time during that time. Then again in 1972 with Fist Of Fury, he broke his own record. Made on the budjet of 100k USD, the movie earned 100M USD breaking Big Boss previous record. After Fist of Fury his another major movie The Way of Dragon released on the same year broke his previous record of Fist of Fury. Made on the budjet of 130k USD, the movie earned 130M worldwide and became the highest grosser alltime in hong kong movie industry. His last major hong kong movie which was released after his death, Enter The Dragon 1973 made on the budjet of 850k USD earned 400M USD making it the highest grosser hong kong movie of all time during that time. In three years, he shattered the box office 4 times, if he had lived more he would have kept shattering the box office record. Bruce Lee is biggest movie star Asia has ever produced and one of the most celebrated martial artists ever. His legacy still lives on and billions of people in the world still remember him. Love from Nepal. The Icon, the Myth, the Legend. The one who indroduced Hong Kong martial arts movie to the international audience.
Thank you teacher. Under this sky we are together, thank you for teaching us to express the human body. Thank you for teaching us that we are all one. I hope everyone reading this has learned to flow like water as master Intended.
With all the superficial people in the world that believe accomplishment is the path and therefore they are successful. Turn to this example of a man who lived his life and poured genuine thought into the world. I was 17 when he died and it was written in few newspapers. We all knew him from his television appearances and they had an immense effect particularly on western young men. Thank God for sharing his gift with the world. His life has had meaning
I wish this was a lecture. He doesn't need an interviewer. Especially one that's patronizing him the whole time. Or at least another fighter for him to compare notes with.
@@ctrlaltdestress I get that part and I'm not trying to minimize him. I'm saying that instead of him talking to a condescending reporter that doesn't know anything, it would've interesting if he spoke with another practitioner of some form of martial arts or some other form of hand to hand combat.

i remember watching this in the 2001 at the age of 6 and god I wish I can go back in time, everything was simple and everything makes us happy, just watching cartoons or playing with my cousins and friend football all day, and the best memories i had is coming back from school while is still sunset and smeeling the beautiful smell of strabbery cupcakes and cookies, as i enter the home my mom asking me about my day then she gives me a cupcake and a plate of 4 cookies and I set In the kitchen while my mom cooking the cookies and I remember having a tv beside the outrbig wide kitchen window that had a beautiful view of the grass and flower outside so I just sit andd watch the wizard Oz and i remember feeling so happy , the happiness that i felt back then i cant even imagine now, that was beautiful time that will never comeback , because life change when u grew up but also times are changed dramatically and one important reason is because my lovely mom is sadly passed away 10 years ago 😢 and u cant imagine how sometimes I cry all night or afternoon when I go back to the old tapes
I was born half a century after this man and he was my childhood hero. I used to write down his philosophical quotes and read them everyday because they’ve had such a positive impact on me, even as a kid. Bruce Lee was ahead of his time and his message of ‘honestly expressing oneself’ is more important today than ever. I wish he was still with us today. May he rest in peace.

This is wonderful! For half a century now, the entire interview has been unavailable. We only saw highlights of it. But to see this whole thing now really shows the relaxed intelligence of Bruce Lee. In other interviews, he came office, maybe somewhat arrogant or show offy. But here he just seems relaxed and clearly shows how deeply he’s thought about his art.
but his spirit still lives on and his memories will always be here no matter how long it is remember that I don't care how long it been it could be a 100 years and he will always be remembered ok.👊
so what it been 50 years ago he still the greatest martial artist and his memories will always be here remember that the next time you post a silly comment like that 👊
Amazing how everyone still loves him and admires his wisdom and humbleness 52 years later. That shows how much ahead of time he was and perhaps how cyclical our minds had been, not being able to breakthrough and come close to his level of thinking. Not even talking about philosophies and stuff. Great man, long live Mr. Bruce Lee ❤️
Thank you for this...one of my favorite interviews in HD. "when it comes to real fighting...You better train everything"...Bruce Lee is the father of MMA.
He was way ahead of his time. A true visionary with an incredibile gift. The fact that he died at the age of 32 under very strange circumstances while he was in perfect shape raises many suspicions about the root cause of his death. What is undisputable is that his philisophical way of teaching martial arts was really groundbreaking and even regarded as threatening by many in the Asian world. His tremendous success both in the US and Hong-Kong became all political. Nobody before Bruce Lee thought of merging all Asian martial arts and spreading Asian wisdom across the Western world. As a big fan of Bruce Lee, his tragic destiny still causes sorrow despite his incredible legacy.
I still remember him so well as a kid when he was in "The Green Hornet." Lee died when I was in the 6th grade and I remember being stunned. Still am to a degree after 50 years.

I remembered going to the movie theater a block from where I lived at age 8 or 9 in my hometown rewatching reruns of Bruce Lee movies so many times after he passed away. Brought back childhood memories.
Bruce Lee made a strong short and concise poignant statement at the end of this interview and i agree 100percent we are all born under the same blue skies our differences some born in France some United States China or other countries other than that we should be accepting of each other not denied because of our skin color.....
Hi! May I check which part of the video were you referring to ? Was it motion you were saying? If it was motion, it could be he was saying about motion pictures (movies). Otherwise if it's about martial arts motion then he was referring to the expression of oneself using martial arts as a catalyst. Sorry if I didn't explain too well, let me know if that helps! 😉
@user-fr4lz4sr5q I remember that show. It reconciles with the words he said in this video too - regarding being less mechanical about the body expressions. The boy's first kick was without objective, and second one was developed through anger. Third one was better because there was better control (emotionally) - in short, he finally knew what he was doing and let his feelings flow through his actions, not the other way round. I hope this explanation is a-OK, I don't have the same level of wisdom as Bruce Lee but I hope I interpreted his "emotional content" fairly and squarely. ☺️

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ never have I ever been so proud to be born in California like Bruce Lee. I was born in 80s he was one of my heroes growing up. Thank you for this interview I’ve never seen his humor side before or his awesome laugh. I feel like he’s that much closer to me.😊😊😊😊😊
Bruce lee was true defination of alpha male without any toxicity,he was a man of pure and clean heart, and bruce lee was like spiritual man, his voice was so soothing, and watching and listening him itself give positive vibes
strength is kindness and kindness is strength
Absolutely ❤
Looking at this interview in its full length, it is clear to see just how humble Bruce Lee actually was, contrary to how he was portrayed as “cocky” in some forms of media, especially in that particular Tarantino’s movie.
They did him so wrong in that movie, complete opposite of how he was in real life
@@canontheory Tarantino is a jealous hack thats why. But everyone still remembers Bruce 50 years after his death.
The interviewer didnt have to cut him off that much he could have had way more footage with bruce 🤦🏻♂️
But bruce was so knowledgeable that even in little time he said a lot!
He treated Mr Lee horribly, should have been interviewed by someone who liked him
Probably there was
1.Limited tele casting time period
2.may not expected that he is gonna be a legendary martial artist and a perfect super human, evergreen actor as well.
They cut him out because he said something against the mainstream political correctness.
Sadly missed even now 😪
All the time 😢
It seems strange to me sometimes that Bruce Lee died over a decade before I was born, I obviously never me Him in person, yet I mourn Him everyday
Wow I had no clue that Warrior was talked about in this interview either and now it’s one of the best shows on max this whole thing is beautiful
One of the best and legendary interviews ever ❤
Remember this interview 50 years ago ❤❤❤
😉❤❤❤
Warrior Season 2 out yet?
Guess we'd have to wait... 😭
È ancora difficile credere che non c'è più da 50 anni! Bruce Lee non sarebbe dovuto morire mai! ❤ Riposa in pace, caro fratello!🙏

The great trailblazer and philosopher that brought the east and west together. We owe him much.
He was something special in both his fighting abilities and his philosophical beliefs. From playing pingpong with Nunchucks, two finger pushups to his beliefs on the importance of being a Ambassador of good will between Hollywood and Hongkong. A once in a lifetime individual.

Proof that he didn't like boasting.
Just simply said "yeah.."
That made him a real human
- ❤my bruce
I’m glad someone else also noticed this.
I can't help but to feel ashamed of myself how much I can't be even 20% of Bruce Lee in terms of human basics and respectful to one another
Everyone should just embrace that ending when the question was posed with Bruce Lee answering, "I want to think of myself, as a Human Being (not Chinese, or Northern American--adaption). Not trying to sound as, Confucius says...but Under the Sky, Under the Heaven Man, there is but 1-Family!! And with that, I would love to think, feel and believe...we are still linked to Bruce Lee, & his respected philosophy!!
~~Mo!~~
In 2023 and the humanity hasn’t still clearly understood what martial art is about. His level of intelligence is being centuries ahead.
"centuries ahead" - I have to agree with you on that!
Still the best in 2024 ❤
There will never ever be another Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee. No matter how they try to copy them.
What a great interview. I’m glad we get to hear Bruce’s philosophy and know him a little better. 💝🥰🙏🤷♂️
His intelligence, his physical prowess and his intense looks....Bruce truly was a once in a millennium kind of person.
Thank you teacher. Under this sky we are together, thank you for teaching us to express the human body. Thank you for teaching us that we are all one. I hope everyone reading this has learned to flow like water as master Intended.
What a character what a true legend

Merci beaucoup pour l'histoire de Bruce Lee in 1971❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Millions of blessings,

I love this man . RIP 🌹❤🌹
Oh yes... we do... miss him much 🌹🌹🌹
With all the superficial people in the world that believe accomplishment is the path and therefore they are successful.
He's not just a fighter, but a good and highly knowledgeable human... ❤
@@ctrlaltdestress I get that part and I'm not trying to minimize him. I'm saying that instead of him talking to a condescending reporter that doesn't know anything, it would've interesting if he spoke with another practitioner of some form of martial arts or some other form of hand to hand combat.
Bruce was so gracious. His heart was enormous. We really need Bruce these days.
Very impresive answering of my late idol grandmaster the dragon to this american conduct interview of BRUCE Lee just for me he was an enborn Quick genius martial artist and no one can beat of the time of the dragon whos any body trying to sparring he is better rather than enemy he was very spetacular super amazing tremendous impressive strong punch and kicking nothing last forever more❤
Thanks for sharing! I am not 100% sure if he would still be the best fighter today. But to me, his quick wits + philosophy + combination of his quick and strong moves = I can almost guarantee you that this level of martial arts enlightenment is certainly unbeatable till this day ❤
i remember watching this in the 2001 at the age of 6 and god I wish I can go back in time, everything was simple and everything makes us happy, just watching cartoons or playing with my cousins and friend football all day, and the best memories i had is coming back from school while is still sunset and smeeling the beautiful smell of strabbery cupcakes and cookies, as i enter the home my mom asking me about my day then she gives me a cupcake and a plate of 4 cookies and I set In the kitchen while my mom cooking the cookies and I remember having a tv beside the outrbig wide kitchen window that had a beautiful view of the grass and flower outside so I just sit andd watch the wizard Oz and i remember feeling so happy , the happiness that i felt back then i cant even imagine now, that was beautiful time that will never comeback , because life change when u grew up but also times are changed dramatically and one important reason is because my lovely mom is sadly passed away 10 years ago 😢 and u cant imagine how sometimes I cry all night or afternoon when I go back to the old tapes
Feels like a bruce lee concert ❤❤
I would love to have that ❤❤❤
I wish the interviewer wouldn’t interrupt so much cuz this man had some jewels to share.
You can see at 22:25 Bruce was clearly expressing frustration with it
The Colorization combined with especially the Reverb/Echo is GENIUS ! Thank You for adding it ! ❤
Glad you like it! ❤️ The effects combined was a total package, glad that someone appreciated it! 😉
@@ctrlaltdestress Your welcome...The addition adds a great deal to the mystique of Bruce Lee...
Cool 💪💪💪
I was born half a century after this man and he was my childhood hero. I used to write down his philosophical quotes and read them everyday because they’ve had such a positive impact on me, even as a kid. Bruce Lee was ahead of his time and his message of ‘honestly expressing oneself’ is more important today than ever. I wish he was still with us today. May he rest in peace.
A Truly Great Man was Bruce Lee.
ONE OF THE GREATEST EVER ❤️
Thank you for posting this special interview with Bruce Lee. I’ve watched all his films and find him to be more interesting every time I get to see or hear more wounderful things he’s done with his love for Chinese martial arts. Thank you Bruce Your truly missed ✨❤️ love you man . Innovator ☯️
Incredible !!!he Cuts the interview .we can see he can not agree because He is not as FREE as Bruce!!. feell very lucky to see this interview with him ...such Beautiful Human Being...steel extreemely inspiring
I hate that the guy cuts bruce lee off when he’s about to spit some real stuff
Yes... Was waiting to hear more words of wisdom which I'm sure 100℅ worth listening over and over again even in 2023. Just too bad... 😤😢
Wow...the Legend...in martial art movies...BRUCE LEE...
Yes... the biggest legend ever... ❤️
That guy was charismatic and handsome! His words are prolific.
Thanks for uploading this. Nice to see a full interview!
Brother Long's life is extremely wonderful! This program is so enjoyable to watch! It's much better than those bad explanations that distort the original meaning! Support!
Glad you enjoy it! Bruce Lee was so charismatic! Don't forget to subscribe for more great Bruce Lee's quotes 👊
@@ctrlaltdestress thank you, sir, nice to meet you.
Thank you! ❤️
This is wonderful! For half a century now, the entire interview has been unavailable. We only saw highlights of it. But to see this whole thing now really shows the relaxed intelligence of Bruce Lee. In other interviews, he came office, maybe somewhat arrogant or show offy. But here he just seems relaxed and clearly shows how deeply he’s thought about his art.
long live the king of kung fu Bruce Lee himself 👊
We all love Bruce Lee ! ❤️
Sorry ,He passed away fifty years ago
but his spirit still lives on and his memories will always be here no matter how long it is remember that I don't care how long it been it could be a 100 years and he will always be remembered ok.👊
so what it been 50 years ago he still the greatest martial artist and his memories will always be here remember that the next time you post a silly comment like that 👊
Amazing how everyone still loves him and admires his wisdom and humbleness 52 years later. That shows how much ahead of time he was and perhaps how cyclical our minds had been, not being able to breakthrough and come close to his level of thinking. Not even talking about philosophies and stuff. Great man, long live Mr. Bruce Lee ❤️
Those last words, "people are different" just remind me why I admire him so much.
I like the way Bruce Lee talks and dam he was fine. Rip Bruce Lee!! #KingofKungfu 😍❣️
Love it. #KingofKungfu !!!
This is so incredible!!! I thought I saw all BL's interviews.
"Running water never grows stale." 👍
Golden words, not just from martial arts' perspective💪
Thank you for this...one of my favorite interviews in HD. "when it comes to real fighting...You better train everything"...Bruce Lee is the father of MMA.
On Nov 27, he will become 83 years old. 🎉
miss him so much…
In the year of 1940 ,God created two Immortal Genius and great Artists ....
AL PACINO and BRUCE LEE
Great men ❤️
He was way ahead of his time.
Du hast in Bruce Lees Zeit gelebt?😮
@@adanalmetin6186 Oui
@@adanalmetin6186 No, I did not know Bruce Lee. I was a kid of 11 when he died, but remember his movies and his show The Green Hornet, when I was younger. The 70s were a fun time full of laughs and we didn't have the gizmos of today. Or even of the 80s.
Great man worth remembering ❤❤❤
I remembered going to the movie theater a block from where I lived at age 8 or 9 in my hometown rewatching reruns of Bruce Lee movies so many times after he passed away. Brought back childhood memories.
Bruce Lee made a strong short and concise poignant statement at the end of this interview and i agree 100percent we are all born under the same blue skies our differences some born in France some United States China or other countries other than that we should be accepting of each other not denied because of our skin color.....
Well said! 💪💪💪
Even when Bruce is just talking, he's intense -magnentic, charismatic, the kind of person you can't look away from. Amazing man.
Great voice
Ethereal but powerful! ❤
Could listen to bruce all day long what a man such a shame he was taken so young. My hero. Rip legend
The audio is worse than the original and the colorization is just ok but we all love Bruce!
I think you're right!
Do you know what bruce lee meant by emotional content? If yes please explain
@@ctrlaltdestress No it wasn't mentioned here, he mentioned it in one of his movies while he was talking to a boy who trains at the same school as him
@user-fr4lz4sr5q I remember that show. ☺️
Lee is such a treat to your ears and eyes.
Maybe not the best but still nice to see this footage in colour
Yeap certainly not the best version but hope this video inspired some of us at least, or better still - bring us back to 1971! ❤️
Rip Legend Bruce Lee ! '' Be water my friend '' This philosophy of yours has greatly influenced me
Enter the Dragon was his only martial art film where his real voice was used. Thats what I like about the movie.
This man was not just an actor, he was not just a martial artist --- he was so much more.
Brandon was just as articulate the way he talked.
Oh that's right! ❤️
