after being a Bruce Lee fan since the green hornet, I didn’t think there was anything that existed about Bruce that I hadn’t seen, read, or heard… I had not heard this before… Really a delight
Thanks for posting this crystal clear version. Always great listening to Bruce's rare interviews. His energy emernates, radiates, whatever media he's on.
Thank you the sound is as clear as day and the picture is like video rather then film. This means that for those who thought his speed looked faster because of 24 frames per sec this is 32 frames per sec and it’s still a flicker.
This was released on a paper thin one side record that came free with an Kung Fu Monthly magazine back in the day. I still have mine with the magazine in mint condition. WOW!! Thats how far we have come, from record to RUclips, even Bruce Lee couldn't have expected that and he was all about evolving
Kung Fu monthly was so cool but was hard for me to find where I lived in rural Southwest Georgia. I have the first issue and I think that is the only one I have. So cool to read about an issue with audio on it, I would have loved to have gotten that back in the day.
AT 10:14 you see Karate champ Joe Lewis challenge Bruce. He saw the other guy went flying and said that it was fake and the dude was in on the act. So he challenged Bruce and said he wouldn't budge and won't even need no pad protection like the other guy. Bruce said okay and then sent him back like the other guy though not as far as Joe is a bigger guy. joe was 6 ft and around 200lb. Bruce was 5'7" and under 140. But after that punch he was a believer and willing to learn from Bruce after that.
What he said around 6 30 minutes and seconds is something i love about Bruce Lee everything in the film has to be justified not just for the sake of being violent or sexy.
Something that struck me about Bruce when I first saw him in the Chinese Connection was that when he fought he looked like a demon that had no problem with anybody. As if he didn’t fight trying to beat the other guy but it was to easy so he had to express himself in order to get a jolt out of it. It was almost to the point of insanity and he was trying to hold back or else he’ll kill everybody.
When I saw him in the green hornet TV show I knew that was him in his first movie and the rest of the movies to and when I saw enter the dragon movie it told me that the United States found out about his movies to ask him to do enter the dragon movie that it was done just in time before he died to do at least one movie that made a difference to everyone
@@JoeBuck207 Nope. Alex Benn Block interview was long distance phone interview. Ted Thomas was an interview in a radio studio. This version is AI corrected, it is not original voice.
This is Bruce Lee, I have other AI generated audio that I trained myself but this is legit. I did clean it up further, but I have it from a source that strangely I don’t see on RUclips anywhere.
@@JoeBuck207 yes i am not fan i agree i just try to undrrstand Bruce's mind and thoughts about life and about recording if you have ever listened Bruce's accent his sentences are spoken by clear chinese tune and it wasn't any robotic hologram

This interview has been around, but you may not recognize it as it's much clearer than all the other versions.
@@Wisdom_of_the_Dragon indeed it is much clearer. Very well done my friend
Bruce Lee will forever be in our hearts. Truly a Legend we miss
The audio quality sounds so crisp and clean!
That’s what I was going for! :-)
It was done in a radio station, but this quality is far superior.

Thank you Bruce Lee. You gave millions of us young Asian Americans something to be proud of and to aspire to.

Ted Thomas, many a time I’ve heard his voice for the English dub Kung fu movies of the 70s.Great stuff and quality.
Thanks!

Excellent footage and I can't believe I have never heard this interview, been a fan since 1972.
Good

I don't think that's Joe Lewis. That's a fake beardy story. I don't even think Joe was there
That's not Joe Lewis dummy. Are you blind? Joe Lewis was much muscular taller and never wore that type of gi with a red belt smh
Nice

That's a hard one, I've done it several different ways already. I think I got the method down to clean it up though, it should be my next upload.

What is that strange, unnatural voice? Was it AI generated? The original voice is way better.
This is his original voice.
@@shinobi2119 Compare it to the original radio interview with Ted Thomas. It is altered.
This was done in an Recording studio, the Ted Thomas was done over the phone long distance.
