First of all, Bruce Lee was American of Cantonese origin. Not Mandarin. That's like calling Donald Trump a Mexican because the U.S. shares a border. Goes to show how clueless these people are. Don't they know that Mandarin and Cantonese generally despise each other?

Bruce was a profound philosophical teacher in self awareness and improvement, collectively as humans we all would benefit immensely creating a more harmonious world.

Don't know if you all are aware but back in the late 80's, early 90's the publishers of Iron Man body building magazine, which went out of circulation in the mid 70's discovered that they had sixty letters sent to them from Bruce Lee., which they printed in their last two editions. He was asking the editors for information on training muscle groups and developing forarms and deltoids. They printed a special edition with his letters 1984 which sold out within the first month.

I watched this in 1971. I have this "interview" on many platforms of "technology" - so-called. It is unfortunate the the host (Pierre Berton) simply did not "get it". Not dissing Burton. In his idiom, he was considered to be somewhat "smart" by many. Lee, here, took him to a proverbial "school". Burton did not grasp the undertone and nuance of what Lee was expounding on. All good. We all must learn. I am just starting to learn in my 60's. Take good care all, and remember: "Be like water". After all, if you are a "human", you are literally a bag of electrical water. BTW; Lee acknowledged many times that his philosophy and epistemology was "not" his. He was just beginning to learn as we all are. He had many great teachers. Blessings and enjoy Mr. Lee. A real American.

Bruce Lee is the man that can make you glue to the interview, and you listened to the whole session without realizing hours have passed.

I can't find any sentence from Bruce Lee, that's not philosophical. He was way way ahead of his time. Imagine, he lived in a world without much internet, and he has gained so much knowledge and wisdom. With Internet, can't imagine how much more would he have achieved for his lifetime. Such a rare talent human that could have contributed more to the society, unfortunately he was murdered.

He was way ahead of his time. A true visionary with an incredibile gift. The fact that he died at the age of 32 under very strange circumstances while he was in perfect shape raises many suspicions about the root cause of his death. What is undisputable is that his philisophical way of teaching martial arts was really groundbreaking and even regarded as threatening by many in the Asian world. His tremendous success both in the US and Hong-Kong became all political. Nobody before Bruce Lee thought of merging all Asian martial arts and spreading Asian wisdom across the Western world. As a big fan of Bruce Lee, his tragic destiny still causes sorrow despite his incredible legacy.

The host was rude and couldn’t handle the powerful answers, he cut him off so many times. But wow so much class and intelligence in one simple man.

Nobody ever talks about his smile. When you see it he becomes more likable. Based on this interview he comes off as an honest, passionate, commanding individual. He's the type to do things his way or the highway. This is why I don't have an issue with Quentin Tarantino portraying Lee as a cocky (in a good way) person who met a tough challenge. Bruce would've loved Quentin for thinking outside the box. Bruce admires honesty and confidence.

I was excited when I finally got to see Bruce Lee’s statue in Hong Kong. After watching some of his interviews he had quite the personality. It would have been been a real treat if we got to see Bruce Lee star in Shanghai Noon.
