very interesting and you have answered the questions I was curious about, plenty of power and torque evidently and looks like it is a bike that could do some long tours on without travelling everywhere at warp speed, just lazily ambling around with speed available very easily when required, as I said I have been waiting for a decent reviewer to review it and when you said you had it for a bit of time I was well looking forward to what you had to say, seems to be everything I had hoped it would be

Really good review of a bike that I am overjoyed to see hit the market here. I’ve been dealing with Chinese manufacture since 1995, lived there for 3 years and made many factory visits. There will always be haters, just as there was when Japanese bikes first hit the market. I agree some of the early machines and low end bikes have had a speckled history in respect of the longevity and material quality but bike like this one, and the Benelli and Voge and several others are really making the grade. In all seriousness, I would definitely have this cruiser in my garage in place of my Harley, there is a demo bike in Cardiff and I’m planning a test drive soon. It is my hope that bikes like these will make other manufacturers take a long hard look at their ranges and more importantly their pricing, it can only be good for the customer in the long run.

This bike looks very nice. even from the left hand side (take note H-D Revolution Max engineers!) The fit & finish / build quality looks quite good. Metzeler Cruisetec OEM tyres ... that's an absolute bonus. I'm not a fan of super wide rear tyres (or their replacement cost). I wonder if it's got hydraulic valve lifters? I'd love to have a go on one though. I'd love to see a 1800cc version. It'll be a lifetime before there's a decent dealer network established in my country though.

@@markpulling12 You're a privileged man to have experienced a ride on this machine. I really want this brand & model to succeed. The styling is actually quite good. The only downside I see is the unlikely options for luggage and the pillion area is virtually useless (as it is on many other bikes). Anyway, a tailbag & a backpack is better than nothing when it comes to storage for overnight trips. I'm sure the bike can do what it's intended for (a mid-muscle cruiser that won't break the bank). Any cruiser fitted with a set factory fitted of Metzeler Cruisetecs is almost like getting a discount on the purchase price. Those tyres are so good to ride on. It wouldn't surprise me if Keeway have actually got the stock suspension working perfectly out of the crate. Exhaust pipes look good, sound good and that's a big money saver right there. A big thumbs up to the decent sized fuel tank. I do wish the front mudguard would provide a big more coverage on the lower end. If I wasn't a 'rusted-on H-D owner' and the MBP was available in my city, I'd probably go out and buy one. Did I mention that I'm a Metzeler Cruisetec fan? Cheers from the south west coast of the island of Australia.

Nice review, Mark. At first I thought a bit shorter wheel base might add some agility at the cost of stability.
But it's not that kinds of bike... it's a bit too heavy to be really nimble like an MT07.
This is a high speed cruiser that excels at high speed stability.
However, in order to make good use of that all day long you still need more wind protection. But at least it has the cruise control.
And this is why I find myself returning to the BMW R 1250 RT with all the extras.
It too has the high stability, but it also is nimble, giving it more of the fun factor as well. But then it's almost three times the cost with the extras.
This MNP bike has it's place, but it's just not quite as versatile. Nevertheless, it is very well made.
This looks like it is a Harley riders alternative with better suspension at a third of the price.
    Where is this bike made?

Hi Mark, Thanks for the good review. Following some basic research, what I found interesting is that you did not mention that this bike is Chinese made. Not that that's an issue or anything, I mention this because I've come to trust your reviews and, as a result, anticipate full disclosure on all bikes when you talk about their manufacturer. I appreciate that not everyone is a fan of Chinese bikes, but please don't sell off your credibility for the sake of a few coins.

Hi I did mention that it's made by the keeway group which is a known Chinese manufacturer ....plus pretty much all bikes these days ...non honda Suzuki etc ...it's a given that they are all chinese made ....which is mostly the case for everything we have in our homes these days
Oh well way of the world I guess 😆 lol
      Best wishes mark

To much plastics that just look bad dont flow like a cruiser lines should. Exhaust looks cheap and difficult headers to get to should you want to change. And there is always the questions of spares , servicing and modifications on a China bike like this.

That just shows you not NOTHING of bikes and CLEARLY just bashing it out without focusing on the review and because its from China…Spares?….EASIER to get them than the Italians for sure but dont see you complaining about then?….hahahaha, i want to see how you going to survive from not facing the reality 😂😂🤣🤣🤣

@@tardeepsingh2863 it's clear your either in a tantrum or not English as you can't type a proper coherent sentence. You obviously have your experience of cheap bikes and I have mine. I don't own any toy bike at all. In 3 years this bike will have a lower re sales value than the money it saved you in the first place. The fit and finish will be worse even if garaged. Service won't save much with the amount of plastic to be removed to get to anything. Dealers don't stock parts much and it will take weeks if not months to get assuming the part you want is available. If the model run doesn't sell well you could be left with a bike that no one wants and your stuck with. Like I said I stick to my original post. Many bikers I know added a Chinese bike to there garage and treated it as they do all their bikes and they weren't impressed with how they aged

    • @rabfergy7155

Also it's nothing to do with the country it made as most small capacity bike's from Japanese, European and US are outsourced to cheaper run plants in other countries, ktm for example. But somehow they maintained a better build quality.

  • @johnrocker2986
    @johnrocker2986 Год назад +1

Chinese and Indian motorcycles no longer need to be measured against Japan, they hold their heads high both in build and cost! Please don't compare them to Honda as they stand along with the best with no excuses needed. Wish they would give these bikes names and not number identification.
