Watch this before buying a ski/snowboard carrier

Today I wanted to provide a word of warning on the security of Ski and snowboard racks you typically find on Amazon, ebay and etc. There are typically brands that you never heard of and are fairly inexpensive. The key issue is how these things are mounted, providing very little security for your gear or even the carrier itself.
