Just because you can’t physically ride like you did before your accident Scott, will never change how a lot of people see you and respect you as a BMX rider and a BMX legend.
FEC specialise in Flatland parts including frames and forks. Their Freecoaster is probably their most popular part with most of the local riders in Melbourne using it.
There's a way to get the freenight based coasters probably just as light if not lighter than the titanium internal far east cycles coaster. There's a specific axle you can order that's Titanium. And getting a driver made wouldn't be hard.
@@bmxriderforlife1234 The problem the Freenight lacks which the majority of Flatland riders require is a 10mm male or female axle. Most flatland specific frames are 10mm dropouts.

Litespeed makes such insanely nice stuff, good for him. I used to work at a bike shop with a guy who had a titanium Litespeed mountain bike frame set, I loved that bike.
No rush Scotty, you have the gear ready, sometimes it just takes a little time to get yourself ready. Get the crash mats out though on your first attempts so you don't hurt yourself and then you can have a good laugh at your own bloopers just like I do with my riding. Remember Scotty, difficult things take time, the impossible just takes a little longer. Really nice gear you got there. I look forward to you getting your confidence up to have a go at the fakie.
Matty is wrong. My Z-Coaster at it's tightest was 1/8th crank to disengage, I ended up going back to 1/5th because that small of an amount was making me engage it accidentally from time to time.
Engagement actually gets better as it breaks in the gap is not adjustable its 35 degrees. Lowest maintenance of all freecoasters, 0 drag simple design. Ti post isn't saving any weight it's just stronger
Scotty and Matt. I don't know of you guys read these, but a hub you guys would be interested in is a Bendix 2 Speed Automatic made from 1960 to 1969. 3 red blue or yellow band around the center. A full kickback on the drive side gives you your brakes, a 1/2 kickback on that side gives you another gear. yellow and red both, low and standard with the the sane gear ratio for 24/26 inch bikes, but blue is standard and overdrive, and used on 20 inch Stingrays. I've got 3 of them 1 red and 2 yellows . 1 yellow on a huge Monark Tandem, another yellow on a 60s Schwinn CoEd, and the one 1 I love the most is a red on my 1963 Schwinn American. It takes some getting the hang of cause every time you come to a stop in the easy pedaling gear, it gives you a really long stroke on that side to get going again. The hub itself weighs a hefty chunk, probably more than your whole BmX bike, but in that era weight was not such an issue, my 1956 Schwinn Hornet is 57 pounds. Also don't get the 2 speed kickbacks hubs confused with the smaller bendix kickback hub. An RB-2 maybe? It only has a single red stripe around it, and the weight and hub diameter from front to back are about 1/2.
@@carlstanton2550 I can't imagine trying to ride backwards with that hub, much better options for that. I just finished a full restoration on a 1966 Schwinn fastback Stingray turned out beautiful.
