one question freecoaster compatiblity yay or nay
@@stevencase3289 some kinds of freecoaster mechanisms will work in principle. However, our rear hub spacing is 135 to make room for the disc without sacrificing wheel strength. Pretty sure there are no 135 spaced freecoasters on the market. Fortunately, we're working on a freecoaster clutch for the bike so a freecoaster hub is unnecessary.

I'm 55 still going stronger than ever and love BMX! Keep it going because life is too short and people flip out when they find out my age and I always get asked how do I look so young for my age its because I never think like an old person and I do things I love, people don't get it you are what you believe you are! The minute you tell yourself I'm getting old you will become old. Kids brain activity is in theta older people start to move the brain to delta then death. Move the brain into theta like a kid and you do this by doing things that you enjoy. The minute you lose your joy in life you will age faster than ever and you will move your brain into delta then death. Simple way for people to grasp this is think about eating a lemon, you brain will respond as if you are actually doing it because it doesn't know the difference, Same as doing things you love when you were younger, the brain doesn't know the difference and produces the same chemicals as when you were younger because it doesn't know the difference, Crazy thing is? We have documented science behind this! Never stop doing what you love to do! Great video!

This is absolutely wild! As someone who grew up riding bmx in the 2000s this is like a dream especially the bmx 24" build its expensive way too expensive for me 💀 but id rather pay for this than a shitty ebike thay costs near the same
The titanium is very pricey! But we just started making a steel version. Same specs, just a little heavier and way more affordable. Mike just did a feature on it today.

That's such a sweet bike. Been eying it. Probably really short range of like 8-10 miles but the battery looks small enough to pack an extra.

Thank you for saying that! The range should be right at those numbers if you throttle a lot at full power 3800 watts. I'd bet Mike will get just shy of 8 miles on that pack since it's over a year old. But if you pedal more often at lower wattages (like 1000w) you can get way further. Also the new battery has easy on/off thumbscrews.

What’s going on with the square battery case? I would sacrifice some speed to shave a few pounds. I think they could design a better blending of the battery and the rest of the bike. Overall, I think it’s a sick bike👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you! In the early days we played around with countless designs to better "hide" the battery. All of them just made the frame tubes look swollen and weird, compromised frame strength, and made it hard for riders to swap battery packs. So we just accepted that current battery technology is an albatross on bikes (in just a few years that'll change), and instead focused on making the pack as durable and easily removable as possible.

One question, you mentioned the 20 inch wheel conversion, if your going titanium spokes and light rims as well, what hubs would you use that are compatible with disk rotors?, or would you re-lase the existing hubs?
There aren't many rear BMX hubs made for discs, and as far as we know there are no BMX disc hubs for front. That's why we widened our dropouts for 135mm rear, and 110mm front, with a conversion axle for the front forks that allows any 110/15 disc hub. We make and sell our own brand of hubs like this, but there are tons of them on the market. Even Profile makes 135 bolt-on disc hubs!

And in combination with the samsung battery range this is looking better and better. What is the max speed you can get off throttle when you set the samsung battery to 1200 watts? Even if it’s just 10mph that’d be fine by me for the range
@@ahorserunningYou can actually get 26mph top speed at low wattage outputs. But the best range is going to be both low speed and low wattage. 31.5 miles at 1100 watts max and 20mph top speed.

Will this bike come in other sizes and will could I put a front suspension on it?
There are 24" suspension forks that will fit this bike, yes. Other sizes are on our radar, but it will be a while.
Could I use this as a city get around bike?
That's how we use it out here in Los Angeles. The 52V battery pack Mike has is made for high speeds (35mph) so doesn't have a ton of range. But we just came out with a 36V battery pack that has a lot of range at lower speeds (26mph). You can swap batteries anytime.
